Salamualakum, I recently had something like sleep paralysis, In my nightmare, I was in my room and I was sleep walking and I was grabbing things off shelves. Then, my I hear my mom come up the stairs, and she walks in aggressively, she grabs my shoulders and she shakes me harshly, and My mouth falls wide open and I look up, I went limp in my mothers grasp. I somewhat seen a white light or flash either in my mouth or my eyes, I don't know for sure, It was vague. I was gasping and struggling to breath, and In my dream I was aware I was dreaming about sleep walking while sleeping. I was half conscious and half unconscious. While asleep, my conscious half heard my ragged and fast breaths outside of my dream, and I also heard my breathing inside the dream. It was horrifying. If you want to know additional information, I'm 16 years old, and female. I want know what what my dream means, if it means something bad or good. It was a odd dream and I couldn't just bypass it. If you could help me, thank you. Please let me know.

A'uzobilla himinash Shaitaanir rajeem. Bismillahir Ra'hmaanir Ra'heem. Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barkatuhu. I mean no offence. A hadith says that after reciting Sura Kaafirun and going to sleep makes reciter immune (i.e, a barrier) from Shirk. What does it mean by "immunity" and "barrier"? Those who recite or have started to recite, do you notice any change? (And please, no debates) Thanks in advance.

Is it not haram to sleep in a mosque? I was praying in my unis prayer room, which is Sunni run and there were people taking turns sleeping and snoring on pillows. I thought sleeping was haram in a mosque and I told the guy sleeping but he doubted me. Is sleeping in a mosque not haram? because you can have a wet dream when asleep or fart, so if in a mosque... It is also a place of worship.

I think this talk by Arianna Huffington is worth watching. She talks about sleep, and other useful tips about today's life that seem to fit pretty well with Islam as well.

Salam, One could argue that many of us over indulge in eating, sleeping or talking too much. I was talking to someone and I was informed that Imam Ali a.s. said to "eat less, sleep less and talk less". I know Imam Ali a.s. said not to make your stomach a graveyard for animals but I am looking to find the statement of eating, sleeping and talking less. Can someone find the saying, preferably from the nahjul balagha. Thank you for your time. wsalam.
