Salam alejkum, I have a few questions regarding ghusl. 1. Does it matter whether in your niyyat you intend to perform wajib ghusl or would ghusl suffice? For example ghusl jumah wajib qurbatan ilallah or would ghusl jumah qurbatan ilallah suffice? Also if I'm not mistaken it isnt wajib to perform ghusl jumah therefore by saying wajib in your niyyat does this invalidate it? 2. Does it matter whether you wash yourself with shampoo etc. before doing ghusl or is it better to do it after? 3. Do you have to be dry to perform ghusl? For example already having wet hair. 4. When wiping one side of the body to make sure water has covered that side, does it matter which hand you are using? i.e. wiping your right side with left hand vice versa. Also just to clarify that the procedure is intact. - Niyyat - Wash whole head and neck - Wash right side of the body (right arm, chest, stomach, back, leg) - Wash left side of the body (left arm, chest, stomach, back, leg) DONE! jazakAllah for your replies.
