  1. Salaamun Alaykum, I recently had a small conversation with a sunni friend pertaining the necessity of sending la'nat on the enemies of ahlulbayt (based on the shia faith). Honestly, I could not make a decision of whether it is right to do so, especially the act of cursing the first three caliphs. The enemies of Islam are gone, and Allah will be the judge of whatever sins they have committed. So why do we, shias, still send la'nat on them? I've heard it from somewhere that it is wajib for us to do so, is that correct? I'll appreciate if you could give me a few points that could help me explain my sunni friend regarding the same. Jazakallah
  2. (salam) As the title says, I'm looking for ahadith about both events, from our sources and sunni ones as well. Thanks ws
