In this thread i will post the problems faced by pakistani shias in this holy month of muharram.so we all can be aware of what is going on in pakistan and may be inshallah we get a bigger picture of what the great devil and its allies are trying to achieve. i pray to God that may Allah guard every muslim in every aspect and give us the love of Imam Hussain (as) and give us taufeeq to follow him (as) Iltemas e Dua Pre-Muharram shia killings in Karachi 2 days before the start of muharram,6 shias got killed in the biggest city of pakistan i.e karachi. Federal Government and its policies Almost a week before the start of this holy month,a provincial minister of ruling party(in federation as well as in punjab which is biggest and most resourceful province of pakistan) appeared on tv in a press conference and announced that there will be no majalis and juloos(processions) but those who are registered with government so we can manage their security effectively(you all know about effective security of shias in pakistan-sarcasm) section 144 was applied which prohibit an assembly of more than ten people in an area.

Everyday shia's are dying or being humiliated due to the beliefs we have. What are our religious leader's saying about this? What can we do about it from a realistic perspective? Why are we so divided as Shias? It's true that we've being killed for years but now they are trying every dirty tactic they can. From Malaysia to Pakistan to the ends of the Arab world we are suffering, there hasn't been a day where iraqi shia are at peace because just about every other day there is a bomb which kills scores of us. Its just that everyday i hear the screams of unity (which im proud of and not against) however i never hear the same favour returned backed to us. It's like we are being cheated and back-stabbed. We are being attacked in place in which you would think that they would have the decency to leave us alone for example they recently attacked us during hajj, they even run around taking off our religious leaders headwear. Recently i was reading that in syria there was a shia family who's daughter was 5 years old bound by chains to the bed as they made her watch them kill her whole family (I cried my heart out while reading about it). There's nothing more i can really say because it's already been said.

Here is my request and concern. We don't have any expectations with outsiders, western media, western press, western institutions, they too have a lot at stake with Saudis. What is stopping us, Shias of calling the spade a spade? At the least could MODS create a new topic thread under Shia Chat -> General Politics -> Shia Genocide in Pakistan? Is it too much to ask on a Shia forum where all Shia hot points deserve a separate topic except for Shia sufferings in Pakistan (and maybe Afghanistan)? I've asked the same from MODS in another forum but I got no reply. BACKGROUND There is a distinctive and systemic Shia genocide under way in Pakistan. Saudi paid Takfiris, Saudi bribed army, Saudi bribed politicians, and Saudi bribed intelligence services (ISI) are complicit, in fact are silent partners in letting this genocide happen. Shias of South Asia origin living in the west (UK and USA) are constantly struggling to declare this Shia murders and loss of massive life and property a GENOCIDE at the UN and other international bodies. It may come, it may not. As Shia genocide is a global issue in broader sense; proof of which is that so called impartial media throughout the world dreads to name the real killers as 'Saudi paid Takfiris', and would rather call them Sunnis to pitch Shias against Sunnis and to show the world a nation divided. All of you please reply, even with a dot on this thread to support the cause of 'creating a separate topic of Pakistani Shia Genocide'.

This is the tale of a Pakistani mother and a wife who is neither a mother nor a wife anymore due to the Takfiris terrorist attack on a mosque in a systematic genocide committed by the blessing of the Pakistani state. This is a story of ONE Shia pakistani woman out of 50,000, whose husbands, fathers, and sons have been ripped into lifeless human body remains as suicide bombings have become the favorite mode of keeping Shia population of Pakistan in check and under subjugation. http://en.shiapost.com/2013/08/18/my-sacrifice-to-god-by-midhat-zaidi/ P.S. This article did deserve a separate space in SC but so far, I'll have to put it in ''General Politics and Current Issues".... Topic like this deserves a new topic called "Shia Genocide in Pakistan".

Here's the live footage of the Shia masjid's security camera of the self exploder Wahabi attack on a Shia masjid in Pakistan right after this year's Eid prayer. -------http://youtu.be/jy9GRG2k0v8 MODs: Please create a separate topic under "Politics, Current and Regional Issues' -> "Shia Genocide in Pakistan" .The crisis in Pakistan is reaching beyond a day to day violence point and is turning into a permanent Shia persecution issue similar to Bahrain and Iraq.

QUETTA: Four bomb explosions took place in the provincial capital on late Thurday, leaving at least 56 people dead and 163 others injured, DawnNews reported. Eight of the dead are reported to be police officials. A cameraman from a private television channel was also killed, along with four Edhi workers. Two explosions took place at Alamdar road, two more explosions took place near Airport road, according to reports. Two bombs exploded minutes apart at a billiards hall near Alamdar road, AP reported. One of the bombs exploded inside the billiards hall, while another explosion took place outside when rescue services reached the site of the blast. The injured have been rushed to local hospitals. Police said the bombings disrupted power supplies and plunged the area into darkness. The Hazara Democratic Party announced three days of mourning in response to the attacks. Earlier on in the day, 12 people were killed after a blast that took place near Quetta’s Bacha Khan chowk. http://dawn.com/2013...people-injured/ -------------- KARACHI: At least 21 people were reported dead and 70 others were injured on Thursday when an explosion ripped through a religious centre in Swat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The blast targeted the Tableeghi Markaz on Takhtaband Road on the outskirts of Mingora town. “We have received 21 dead bodies from the site of the blast,” Dr Jamil, In-charge Casualties at the DHQ Hospital Mingora, told Dawn.com. “The death toll may rise as some of the injured are in critical condition and we are receiving more and more injured people,” said Dr Niaz Mohammad had told Reuters. Mystery shrouded the nature of the explosion, as some officials said the blast was caused by a bomb or explosive device, while others said it was result of an exploding gas cylinder. Mohammad Hanif Khan, the Station House Officer (SHO) at the local police station, said that there was no smell of explosives from the site, and that the building had also remained intact which showed that the blast may not have been caused by explosives He added that some elders had said that a number of cylinders were lying at the religious centre. However, an injured man said no gas cylinders were nearby. “There was no cylinder where the blast took place. We all know that gas cylinder does not kill so many people,” said another one of the injured, Mohambar Khan. However, he said that police had sent the evidence collected from the spot for further investigation and would be giving the final version after a comprehensive assessment. Earlier, Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) official Qayyum Shah had said that a bomb, in the shape of an improvised explosive device, was planted inside the centre. The explosion took place at a weekly meeting of the local Tableeghi Jamaat (preachers’ party) at its primary centre in the outskirts of Mingora, the main town in the district, regional police chief Akhtar Hayat said. There were around 1,500 people listening to the speech of a Muslim cleric at the centre when the blast occurred. The centre is located at least 10 kilometres away from Mingora, the main town in Swat district. The area was once under the control of militants and had set up check posts before the army undertook an operation in 2009 to rid the area of Taliban-linked groups. Takhtaband road, which is the main link road in the region, was the site of several suicide blasts and attacks on military personnel during the operation. The religious centre, however, is known to belong to the Tableeghi Jamaat (congregation for spreading faith), which is not linked to any militant organisation. http://dawn.com/2013...ligious-centre/
