“Ibn Hajar Asqalani”: He’s one of Sunni elders in different sciences such as: “Rijal”, Hadith, History and genealogy. He writes in “Lisan al-Mizan” book: “جعفر بن علي بن محمد بن علي بن محمد بن علي بن موسى بن جعفر بن محمد بن علي بن الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب الحسيني أخو الحسن الذي يقال له العسكري و هو الحادي عشر من الأئمة الإمامية ووالد محمد صاحب السرداب" “Ja’far ibn Muhmmad ibn Ali ibn Muhmmad ibn Ali ibn Musa ibn Ja’far ibn Muhmmad ibn Ali ibn Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib al-Husayni”, he’s the brother of Hassan [(عليه السلام)] who is called “Askari”, the eleventh Imam of Shia and father of “Muhammad {Imam Mahdi} – the same person whose occultation was in “Sardab”. He’s the father of the same person whom Shias are waiting for him… his son is “Muhammad ibn Hasan” and Shias call him “Qa’im”, he was born in 256 or 258 AH and lived two years after his father and then he disappeared and his mother was maid. “Al-Dhahabi” – The History of Islam – vol. 19, p 113 “Sibt al-Jawzi Hanafi”: In “Tadhkirat al-Khawas” book, he’s allocated a chapter for Imam “Mahdi” [(عليه السلام)] and his specifications: ذكر أولاده منهم محمد الإمام فصل في ذكر الحجة المهدي محمد بن الحسن بن علي بن محمد بن علي بن موسي بن جعفر بن محمد بن علي بن الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب ، وكنيته أبو عبد الله وأبو القاسم وهو الخلف الحجة صاحب الزمان القائم والمنتظر والتالي وهو آخر الأئمة ، وقال : ويقال له ذو الإسمين محمد وأبو القاسم قالوا : أمه أم ولد يقال لها : صقيل. He’s one of the children of “Askari”, imam “Muhammad”. A chapter about “Mahdi” “Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Ali”… his nickname is “Abu Abdullah” and “Abu al-GHasim”. He’s god’s argument, owner of time, “Qa’im” and last Imam of Shia, some have said that he’s had two names: one of them is “Muhammad” and another one is “Abu al-Ghasim”. It’s been said that his mother was maid named “Sufail”. “Tazkirah al-Khawas” – p 363 – 364 “Masudi Shafi’i”: “Ali ibn al-Husayn Masudi” is one of “Shafi’i” elders, he’s emphasized on the birth of Imam “Mahdi” [(عليه السلام)]: الإمام الثاني عشر وفي سنة ستين ومائتين قبض أبو محمد الحسن بن علي بن محمد بن علي بن موسي بن جعفر بن محمد بن علي بن الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب عليهم السلام في خلافة المعتمد، وهو ابن تسع وعشرين سنة، وهو أبو المهدي المنتظر، والإِمام الثاني عشر عند القطِعية من الإِمامية، “Abu Muhammad Hassan ibn Ali” passed away in 260 AH when he was 29 during the caliphate of “Mu’tamid”. He’s father of “Mahdi”, the twelfth imam of Shias who believe in twelve Imams. “Murawij al-Zahab” – vol. 4, p 160 “Ibn Khalkan” He’s one of Sunni scholars and writes about the birth of Imam “Mahdi” [(عليه السلام)]: أبو القاسم المنتظر أبو القاسم محمد بن الحسن العسكري بن علي الهادي بن محمد الجواد المذكور قبله ، ثاني عشر الأئمة الاثنيعشر علي اعتقاد الإمامية ، المعروف بالحجة ، وهو الذي تزعم الشيعة أنه المنتظر والقائم والمهدي، وهو صاحب السردب عندهم، وأقاويلهم فيه كثيرة، وهم ينتظرون ظهوره في آخر الزمان من السرداب بسر من رأيز كانت ولادته يوم الجمعة منتصف شعبان سنة خمس و خمسين ومأتين،ولما توفي أبوه_ وقد سبق ذكره ـ كان عمره خمس سنين، وإسم أمه خمط وقيل نرجس. “Abu Al-Ghasim Muntazar Muhammad ibn al-Hassan al-Askari”… He was born on “Sha’ban” 15th in 225 AH on Friday and he was 5 when his lost his father. The name of his mother was “Khamt” and it’s been said her name was “Narjes”. “Wafayat Al-A’yan” – vol. 4, p 176 “Abu al-Fada’” “Imad al-Din Abu al-Fada’” writes in “Al-Mukhtasar fi Tarikh al-Bashar”: وكانت ولادة الحسن العسكري المذكور، في سنة ثلاثين ومائتين، وتوفي في سنة ستين ومائتين في ربيع الأول، وقيل في جمادي الأولي، بسرمن رأي، ودفن إِلي جانب أبيه علي الزكي المذكور، والحسن العسكري المذكور، هو والد محمد المنتظر، صاحب السرداب، ومحمد المنتظر المذكور هو ثاني عشر الأئمة الاثني عشر، علي رأي الإِمامية، ويقال له القائم، والمهدي، والحجة. وولد المنتظر المذكور، في سنة خمس وخمسين ومائتين. Imam “Hasan Askari” was born in 230 AH and died in 260 AH in “Samarra”. He was buried beside his father imam “Hadi” [(عليه السلام)]. Imam “Askari” is father of “Muhammad”, owner of “Sardab”. “Muhammad” is the twelfth imam according to Shias’ belief who is called “Qa’im”, “Mahdi” and “Hujjat”. He was born in 255 AH. Well here is a answer subhanAllah! “Ahmad ibn Hanbal” quotes from “Shu’bah ibn Hajjaj” that I’ve heard narratives from “Abd ar-Rahman ibn abi Layla” that if I say them to you, swear to god all of you will dance and I’ll never quote them for you. If scholars didn’t betray and quoted all sayings of commander of the faithful Ali [(عليه السلام)], all people would have become Shia!! Then “Ahmad ibn Hanbal” says that “Mahmoud ibn Ghaylan” has quoted for me that “Shu’bah” has said that if I quote those narratives, all of you will become Shia. “Abu abd ar-Rahman” {Ahmad ibn Hanbal} has said: this phrase is more correct: حدثني محمد بن عبد الله قال حدثنا أبو داود عن شعبه قال لقد حدثنا الحكم عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلي عن علي بشيء لو حدثتكم لرقصتم والله لا تسمونه مني أبدا وحدثنا به محمود بن غيلان مثله وقال لترفضتم قال أبو عبد الرحمن وهو أشبه. “Ahmad ibn Hanbal” – al-ilal wa Ma’rifat al-Rijal – vol. 3, p 354 “Shams al-Din Dhahabi” says about “Shu’bah ibn al-Hajjaj”: شعبه بن الحجاج بن الورد الحجه الحافظ شيخ الإسلام أبو بسطام الأزدي … بن المديني له نحو ألفي حديث وكان الثوري يقول شعبه أمير المؤمنين في الحديث وقال الشافعي لولا شعبه لما عرف الحديث بالعراق قال أبو بكر البكراوي ما رأيت أحدا أعبد لله من شعبه… “Shu’bah ibn Hajjaj” was proof, hadith retentive {he knew more than thirty thousand narratives by heart} and Sheikh al-Islam. “Thuri” has said that he was “Commander of the faithful” in hadith science. “Shafi’i” has said: if it weren’t for “Shu’bah”, no one would know hadith in “Iraq”. “Abu-Bakr Bakrawi” has said that he’s not seen someone who worships god as much as “Shu’bah”!!!... “Al-Dhahabi” – Tazkirat al-Huffaz – vol. 1, p 193
