In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful, This is a poem dedicated to the death anniversary of the tragic murder of Imam Musa Al Kadhim, Baghdad’s prisoner written by my humble self. Oh master of Kadmiya, Oh beloved of Zahra, There was no funeral like yours Ya Musa, A murdered prisoner poisoned by a tyrant killer. And what a prisoner is kept in this manner, Let me words paint for your eyes a picture, And colour this canvas with the gems of your tears, He is kept in Baghdad’s most narrow prison, For 14 years no fresh air enters, Like a flower he has withered. He cries each time he moves bound in chains, Yet only deaf ears and dead souls hear his pains, As he ingests this poison, The Earth trembles as his whole body shakes, This prisoner will never awake. And the Muezzin as he gives the Adhaan at Fajr, Baghdad celebrates the death of a prisoner, A law breaker who has been captured, Unknowing to them that he is Islam’s protector. What a prisoner who in a foreign land has been captured, The one who has several sons and daughters his body is carried by strangers, No one is there to carry his coffin on their shoulders, The Imam of the world and at his funeral there are no mourners. There’s no other coffin who’s still bound in chains even after his last breath, His shroud covered in blood, A captive even after his death, The daughters of Kadhim cannot rest, They can still smell their father’s scent. When a person dies, Surrounds his deathbed his family, Together they prepared their body to be buried, Yet this prisoner has nobody, Labourers to Baghdad’s bridge carry his body. As his mother Zahra cries this son of mine has died lonely and thirsty, With cuffs and chains encased around his body, Oh people this is the descendant of your Prophet, A great grandson of Ali, Do not show this brutality, For he has never shown the world anything but mercy. Oh Ridha I urge you come quickly, To bury your father in Baghdad’s city, For you are the next guardian of this message of purity, We will all grieve for your father for eternity. Oh my master Imam Mehdi, There’s no day like the day of Ashura, And there’s no years like the years by Kadim, The lonely prisoner, Oh Allah, I pray to you to fulfil my prayers, Through the loving memory of Babul Hawaij, The gate to wishes and prayers, Let me go to his door and raise my hands in Khadimiya, And my tears flow for the torture he endured.

(bismillah) (salam) عظم الله أجورنا وأجوركم Condolences on the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (as), the 8th Imam of the world and our condolences to our living imam Imam-e-Zamana (as) (May Allah Hasten His Appearance) ,Muslim Ummah and all the lovers of the Holy Ahlul Bayt (as) Momineen and Mominaat around the world. Imam Reza .as. Once when our 8th Imam, Imam Ali ar-Ridha as was travelling through a town called Nishapur, the people of the town asked Imam as to tell them a hadith from the Prophet (saw) Imam Ali ar-Ridha .as. told them the following hadith: "My father Musa al-Kadhim .as. told me, from his father Ja'far as-Sadiq .as. from his father Muhammad al-Baqir .as. from his father Ali Zainul Abideen .as. from his father the martyr of Kerbala (Husain) .as. from his father Ali ibn Abu Talib .as. from the Holy Prophet .as. from Jibrail, from Allah ( swt ) "The Kalima of La ilaha illallah is My fort, and whosoever says it will enter My fort, and whosoever enters My fort, is safe from My punishment." This hadith is known as the golden chain hadith. This is because each member of the chain was a Ma'sum. The people of Nishapur began reciting the Kalima. Imam Ali ar-Ridha (A) continued, that there was one condition to the safety in this fort and that was that they had to obey and follow the Imams (as) Morals Just to say something will be of no use. Only when you understand what you are saying and believe in it enough to follow it then will it be of use to you. Humbleness means treating others the same way as you expect them to treat you. He who wishes to be the most dear to the people must be virtuous both in public and in secret. Do not get angry when you are informed of the truth. Silence is one of the gates to wisdom. Keeping other's secrets, patience in hardships and tolerance towards others are all signs of faith. He who reveals his poverty before others will disgrace himself. To be in the company of villains will result in suspecting the good. Gifts cast out hatred from the heart. Doing 6 things without doing the other 6 things is self-mockery. * Asking forgiveness from Allah verbally without repenting with the heart. * Asking for Allah's help without undertaking any effort. * Making a firm resolution to do something without taking due precautions. * Beseeching deliverance from hell fire without refraining from lusts. * Asking Allah for paradise without enduring related hardships. * Remembering Allah without anticipating to encounter him. Imam Raza (as) also said, "Nothing will weigh more heavier in the mizan than good morals" * "Listening to Music is one of the major sins" * "Meet one another so that affection may increase" Please click below on the Life of Imam Reza (as) http://www2.irib.ir/worldservice/safar/Imam%20reza/zendeginameh.htm For those who have not been to Ziarayt Imam Reza (as) yet, May Allah(swt) bless you the jouney to his ziarayt soon inshALLAH. Shahadat Of The Sons Of Hazrat Muslim Bin 'aqil As
Guest posted a topic in General Islamic Discussion
(bismillah) (salam) :( :( :( On this Sad and Mournful occasion we express our Heartfelt Condolences and Deepest Grief to all the Muslims and the Lovers of the Holy Ahlul Bayt(A.S.) Hazrat Muslim had taken with him his two sons Muhammad and Ibraheem. After Hazrat Muslim was killed. Muhammad and Ibraheem were also arrested and put into a dungeon. It is said that Muhammad was just ten years old and Ibraheem was eight years old. On the 20th of Dhul-Hajj in 60 Hijrah, when the jailer came to give the children their evening meal, he saw them saying their prayers. The jailer waited. When the boys had finished their prayers, he asked them who they were. When the jailer learnt that they were the sons of Muslim Ibne Aqil and the grandsons of Hazrat Ali, he let them escape. The children came out of the prison. It was a dark night. Their first thought was to go to Imam Hussain and warn him not to go to Kufa. Everywhere they went, they found the roads blocked by Ibne Ziyad soldiers. It was impossible to get out of Kufa. Now it was almost day-break. Where could these two young boys go? They found themselves by the side of the river Euphrates. They drank some water from the river and then went up a tree to hide for the day. Just then a woman came to the river to get water. She saw the two young boys and asked them who they were. Ibraheem said, "We are two orphans, could you please leave us alone and not tell any one that you have seen us?" The woman asked them to accompany her to her mistress who would help them. The woman's mistress was a kind lady. After talking to the boys for a while she realized who they were. She gave them food and said to them, "You can spend the day here and I will try to help you. Unfortunately my husband Harith is working for Ibne Ziyad. He is out at the moment. You can rest in the spare room but make no noise otherwise when he comes back, he will find out you are here". The children said their prayers and went to sleep. In the evening Muhammad woke up and started crying. Ibraheem asked him why he was crying. Muhammad said "I saw our father in a dream. He was calling out for us". Ibraheem said, "Brother, be patient. I also saw our father in a dream beckoning us to him". They both started weeping. Harith, who had come back, heard the children crying. He opened the door and asked the children who they were. On learning they were the sons of Muslim Ibne Aqil, he tied both the boys to a pillar. Harith's wife tried to stop him, but he beat her up. Harith wanted to collect the reward which Ibne Ziyad had offered to anyone capturing the children. The children spent the whole night tied to the pillar. In the morning Harith dragged them to the river-bank. He took out his sword. Ibraheem asked him, "Harith, are you going to kill us?" Harith said "Yes!" Ibraheem said, "In that case give us time to finish our morning prayers". The two boys said their prayers. They raised their hands and cried out "Inna Lillaah wa Inna Ilay-hi Rajeeoon! O Allah we are coming to you. Give our mother courage when she hears of our death and judge between us and our killers!!" The sword came down! There were splashes in the water. Two young bodies were seen floating away in the waters of the river Furaat.
