I wanted to bring attention to a certain Iranian nuclear scientist. According to him, he had gone on Hajj, but then kidnapped by Saudi and American Authorities. First of all, what a low disgusting thing to do to a man on religious pilgrimage. But anyways, he says he was taken to the U.S and tortured by the CIA, who tried to force him to admit he was as a defected Iranian scientist and speak up against Iran So anyways he refused and he was tortured. "They offered me $50 million to cooperate with them and tell the media that I am a very important person in Iran's nuclear programme and have escaped from Iran and politically that I'm a refugee to the US. They wanted me to show a laptop on the TV and say we have obtained very important information on Iran's nuclear weapon programme. But I promised myself not to tell [them] anything against my country."[31] Finally he showed up in the Pakistani embassy in 2006 and asked for assistance in returning to Iran, which the Iranians did. However the U.S government suggested that he defected on his own "an d was free to leave" and that the Iranian government threatened his family if he didnt return.. and only out of fear was speaking out against the Iranian government. How much sense does that make? What do you think? anyways I wanted to bring this incident to attention, because i feel that people, especially Muslims are ignorant about incidents like this. No im not speaking out against the U.S, i know its a great country, its just a thought.
