Salam Alaykoum everyone, Just a quick question. I want to buy a ring that is real Aqeeq and it has certain pictures / wording that is custom made. Some of those rings are 1 of 1 so only 1 in the whole word because it is hand made. But they are a bit expensive, some being $1k USD, some $2k etc. I don't mind spending that much for a ring like that but Islamicly should I? Is it tabtheer? Or is it one of those things were we can spend a lot of money on if we can. I avoid wearing and buying expensive things but something like this interests me. Any answer is appreciated. Thank you!

Salam Alaikum Everyone I found a yakoot ring in garbage. It was just sitting there so i took it and checked it and it turned out to be real silver and real yakoot. Now i don't know if somebody threw it knowingly or accidentally or if it's someone's who's dead. So i want to know that can i wear it? Do i have to do something before wearing it like put some sadqa in the previous owner's name? Or something else Please kindly enlighten me about this situation because I really like this ring. Also some evidence about your sayings would be nice instead of opinions. ( Sorry if this sentence sounds aggressive.) Thank you

Assalamalaikum I remember hearing during my youth that jinns would take one's aqeeq ring if it was left unattended long enough I lost my ring a few days and I am having a hard time finding it Is it because of a jinn? If that is the case, is there anyway to get it back or is it lost forever? Thank you.

As salamu alaikum, ya Ali madad brothers. I have a simple question. I have purchased original aqeeq ring from Iran and since I wear it at office, my friends saw the ring and liked it, some of them tried the ring on their hands who are non Muslims. My question is if someone tries the ring on his hand (specially non Muslim) , does it reduce or nullifies the effects and benefits you get from it??? Awaiting your response, Ali.

Salam Alaikum, As a Muslim living in Canada I found it very hard to purchase good looking Shia rings. So I decided to start an online store myself www.TwelveGems.com. I made sure that the rings followed the traditions of the Prophet (saws) and the Imams (as). Some our gemstones include: Yemeni Aqeeq, Fairouz, and Hadid Sini. If anyone has any questions about Twelve Gems or about muslim rings in general, I'd be more than happy to answer them to the best of my.

Bismillahi Rahman'ir Rahim Salamu Aleykum brothers and sisters! I have a silver ring with a yaqoot stone from Iran! On top of the ring there is a part which is coated in gold! I am not home atm so I gonna provide you a picture later on. However I found a picture of a similiar ring with the Same condition but without a yaqoot stone! Instead there is a firuzeh/ turqoise! My question is: am I allowed to wear this ring and am I allowed to wear it while namaz/ salat! I am following ayatollah seyed sistani ha. wa salam

Salaam Alaykum, Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem I had a muslim Shia' convert ask me this question and I don't know how true this is: Those who love to wear imitation jewelry should understand that Rasulullah (S) has strictly prohibited use of it for both, man as well as woman. When he saw a ring of steel in the hand of a Muslim he warned: it is an ornament of the people of the hell. Listen! From you I have found signs and smell of Zoroastrians. That person removed his metallic ring and wore a ring of gold. Rasulullah(S) warned that your finger is in the Hell as long as this ring remains on your finger. Learned writer of "Daem al Islam", Syedna Qazi al Nauman has mentioned that afterwards that person questioned; should I not wear a ring? He (S) guided: [10] "You can wear a ring made of silver, which should not exceed one Misq'al". "Daem al Islam", Syedna Qazi al Nauman, vol. II, Qahera; also quoted by Tirmizi, Abu Dawood & Nisai According to Shi'a ahadith and fiqh, are we permitted to wear imitation jewellery? Thank you so much in advance,

A salaamo alakum - Brothers and sisters! I'm a new member to this forum, altought ive been lurking around here for a month now and by the end i couldt refuse not to create an account! It contains alot of knowledge and i'm more than happy to join this site! But as it is my first topic i got some questions. My father brought me this ring from Iraq when he went for ziarat for a month. I couldt join him cause of school absent if i dont attend classes. Its this beautiful ring - Durr e najaf :) So my question is as following. Is it haram to pray with a ring that isnt made of silver? (This ring is pure silver though) because i was praying before with an fake ring. What benefits does it have to wear durr e najaf? (Salah for example) Is there any hadiths or surah in quran describing these rings of ahlul bayt (as) Thats it for now! Thank you very much, and i'm looking forward for more years on this forum and more knowledge to learn!

I am a woman and I would like to start wearing a yemeni aqeeq ring. Though, all my jewelry is yellow gold, and all the ones I find online are silver. Is it okay for me to custom-make an aqeeq ring in gold or should it be made of silver, even for women? Jazakallah khairan for your answers! (wasalam)

Salam alejkum, I am looking to buy a aqeeq ring inshAllah. I found this website http://www.almurtaza.co.uk/ anyone ever order one from there? I live in London, does anyone know of any shops that sell them around this area? Also a bit of advice needed about the rings, how "big" is the stone for the big aqeeq rings, would it be comparable to a £1 coin or bigger? Thanks.

(bismillah) (salam) I recently got a Yemeni aqeeq ring from Saudi Arabia. When I take a look at the back of the stone, it has 2 colours to it, the right side is a light brown, whereas the left side is a dark brown, but the top of the stone is the same colour. I was told by relatives not to wear it as ring stones should be one colour only. Its a really nice ring and I want to wear it as it has blessed on the 4 corners of Ka'baah and Rasoolallah's (as) grave. I am in doubt as to weather I should wear it or not. Can someone help? (salam)
