Question. What is the difference between Nabuwah and Imamah (Prophets and Imams) in terms of characteristics and Qualities? As there are many narrations in primary shia hadith books which are creating serious doubts. For e.g the following narration says like Messengers and Prophets, Aimah also receive revelations through angel Jibrail, with the only difference being Aimah only hear from Jibrail without seeing him. Here is one more confusing statement from Allama Majlisi.
One of the important characteristics of Ramadan is related to Divine Books. All Divine Books revelations occurred during the fasting month of Ramadan and it is also another evidence for greatness and virtue of this month. According to many Hadiths, the Torah was revealed to Moses on the 6th of Ramadan, Gospel was revealed to Jesus on the 12th of Ramadan, Psalms of David revealed to him on the 18th of Ramadan and the Holy Qur’an in the Night of Qadr (most probably 23rd of Ramadan). (Al-Kafi; Vol.2, p.628, Vol.4, pp 157, 159, 193) One noticeable point in this regard is that in other months apart from Ramadan, none of Divine Books has not been revealed and it implies that other months had not sufficient spirituality for this grate events. Such issues encourage us to cherish this holy month more and use this great opportunity.
salam I read somewhere (but couldn't find reference) that Abu Sufiyan told muslims that a large army had prepared just outside the city, just about to invade them, to make their hearts tremble in fear, Mola Ali (sa), who was also present there, on hearing this said "inna LILLAHI wa inna ilaihi rajioon" (i.e. we are only for Allah and we must have to go to Him). Allah was so pleased with this statement, that He included this statement in Holy Quran. Can any friend please tell me the reference to above event? I will be grateful to you. Thank you.
