Hi guys, I would like to know your thoughts on Raj'a. I found this article on Wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raj`a but individual insight is always better. Thank you in advance.

Assalam O Alaikum all dear brothers and sisters, I want to know, Why shia say this phrase "ajjil farajahum" (May Allah Hasten His Return). Is there any narration from Imams which confirm/support this? Plz share if anyone knows? While on the other hand there are narrations which are clearly against this phrase. Original source: https://www.al-islam.org/kitab-al-ghayba-book-occultation-sheikh-an-numani/chapter-16-forbidding-timing-and-naming-al-qaim#fref_63c9118a_1 (1) Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Sa'eed narrated from Ali bin al-Hasan from al-Hasan bin Ali bin Yousuf from Muhammad bin Ali from Sa’dan bin Muslim that Abu Baseer had said: I said to Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq (as): “Does this matter (the appearance of al-Mahdi) not have an end so that we relieve ourselves?” He said: “Yes, it does. But you (people) announced it; therefore Allah put it off.” Other reference: Biharul Anwar, vol.52 p.117. (15) Muhammad bin Ya'qoob narrated from al-Husayn bin Muhammad from Ja'far bin Muhammad from al-Qassim bin Issma'eel al-Anbari from al-Hasan bin Ali from Ibraheem bin Muhzim from his father that Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq (as) had said when the (Abbasid) rulers had been mentioned before him: “People perished because they hastened this matter (deliverance). Allah does not become hasty just because that people urge on their matters to be achieved. This matter (the appearance of al-Qa'im) has a precise time that it must reach. If it reaches its time, it will occur neither an hour sooner nor an hour later.” Other reference: Al-Kafi, vol.1 p.369, Biharul Anwar, vol.52 p.118, Mo’jam Ahadeeth al-Imam al-Mahdi, vol.3 p.418 Jazak Allah Khairan

Just a little poem I wrote for Imam Al-Mahdi (as)... not much of a poet but was just trying to get my thoughts across. The droplets of wisdom fall around me From the east to the west they fall But not a single droplet touches me For I fear for the worst What if these droplets are an illusion? We were promised oppression, and oppression we received Oppressed by others, people of my own and even myself I act as though I fit with them all But I know I’m out of place For they see the droplets as real. Whilst I know them to be fake We focused on you as our master, But we neglected your master. We claim to serve your mission But we don’t even serve you. We claim to know you But don’t even know ourselves. We claim to be ready But do we even know what ready is? We wait for true downpour of the droplets, But seem to be satisfied with the droplets we have. We seem to think, with your return, the crops will be regrown through these new droplets But how can our flower blossom without realising your droplets turn to waves? And if our crops are destroyed because of your waves? Will we then turn our backs to you? We claim to love you, but haven’t found the love your love stems from All day and night the true love is entailed within your veins yet when we try to derive the love, we forget its source. We claim to be prepared for you but our bags have no bottom So when we proceed to lift the luggage we prepared It falls, because of the root of the preparation. It’s not the love of love itself, it’s the love of ourselves. Knowledge of you is useless. Recognition of you is essential. The heart recognises what the brain doesn’t and you belong to the heart not the brain For the heart is deeper than any ocean can wish to be and how can we limit the love of you to just the world? We forget how you are the fountain that gives us the droplets But we forget the unlimited Ocean from which your water source comes. Yet we await… We await the day the righteous will be seated on the thrones We await the day the corruption will be annihilated with the swift action of righteousness We await the Droplets that will fall from the heavens We await the day the droplets that fell from our mouths evaporate We await the day we acknowledge you for who you are, not what we want you to be. We await the day the crops grow from purity only. We await the day the diseased crops cease to grow. There is a void in my existence, that can only be filled with the answer to my question: When will you return?
