It is permissible to eat food from a restaurant in the west that serves HALAL meat but also serves NON-HALAL meat too at the same time? The restaurant has advised that their chefs are mindful of the HALAL and NON-HALAL meat not cross contaminating? Can someone direct me to a page or a marja that can answer this question?

O alimento permitido dos 'ahlil kitab' é arroz feijão verduras e etc. Nao carne tipo frango boi vaca ovelha e etc. Cada líder (marja) sayed fadullah Sistani Khamenei tem sua opinião sobre se o abate pode ser feito somente por muçulmanos ou não. Existe uma precaução maior pelo qual se segue. A regra básica é o animal deve ser abatido islamicamente (na direção da meca, falar 'bismilah' e cortar as 4 veias do animal. -
Assalamailakium brothers and sisters. I wanted to ask a question regarding a restaurant. There is a restaurant near my area that is owned by Arab Christians, but the meat, according to them, is Zabihah Halal. My marja is Ayatollah Sistani, and I know that according to him, one can eat the food of an Ahle Kitab, but my question is how about if the halal meat is handled by Ahle Kitab. The restaurant in question even has two halal signs, one in Arabic and one in english. Is it haram to eat their or not?

There is a Indian restaurant here which serves halal food. Most of the workers are Hindu but we aren't sure if the wear gloves or not. Are we allowed to eat there?

My mom always refers me as her bad son, because I like restaurant food more than home cooked meals.. Every night she calls me and ask me about my plans that where am I going to have lunch; home or restaurant... Is that an inappropriate thing to get your meal from restaurant/hotel?
