Atheism is the disbelief in any theistic deity or deities, primarily Allah (what you would call God). The definition in itself is quite contradictory, as it proves the existence of Allah. If Allah was not present, there would be no reason to disbelieve and certainty about there being no creator is not even a discussion (just as every human being in their right mind knows for certain Naruto does not exist in the real world). Moreover, to believe that every thing* is created and ultimately will reach it's demise (the universe included) and to state that the universe came to be out of nothing is... well, to take a word out of an atheist's book to someone who believes in Allah, it is mere fairy tale and imagination. This is not reasonably deduced nor induced. This is not a logical conclusion. Even if the Law of Matter is in place, this still does not change the fact that without the universe, matter does not exist. It is a fact that the universe was created. However, that is for another day. To disbelieve in Allah due to this fault in the faculty of reason is not enough a reason to reject The Creator. You could argue a second point - the people following these religions. Again, this is problematic. No human being is absolutely perfect. This quality belongs to Allah (God) alone. You can have perfect guidance, but man will still find ways around it. You would have to point fingers at what the religion teaches, not those who practice it. If you have not created yourself, nor the earth itself, nor the moon itself, nor the sun itself nor anything in creation, then any human being with a sound mind can deduce that something must have created it. To state otherwise would have to entail evidence behind it - in which there is not an iota of such. Nothing just comes into creation (yes, not even the energy balls in space that appear and reappear out of observation in space). Nothing. Therefore, if you disbelieve in The Creator, then chances are that you are not properly utilizing your intellect and knowledge given to you. * According to the physics definition of the word "thing", it applies to the context within the universe. -
Why are children born with genetic disorders and what can we take from this if we are Muslims and our child is born with a genetic disorder, such as Downs Syndrome or any disorder that will cause a decrease in quality of life?

Why did he deliberately allow birth defected children to be born (both animal and human)? Why did he deliberately create all these viruses and bacteria that cause both human and animal suffering? And from a religious perspective, will the suffering of such animals be compensated? And regarding natural disasters like hurricanes, it is difficult to believe that they are sent to remind people or warn them of sins because many victims of these disasters are children and people who have lived relatively good lives. I would prefer that you guys don't cluster these questions into one question and rather answer each one specifically, unless you believe your clustered response is sufficient to address all these problems.

As`salamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh everyone, I just came across a thread on a forum where someone was saying that a revert moderator from Shiachat left Islam and converted back to Christianity. Too bad most of us didn`t get a chance to talk with her in order to help her out. It made me think why do a good number of ex-shi`as quit Islam altogether instead of looking at the other major sect (i.e Ahle Sunnah wal jamaah) ? And without a shadow of a doubt immense hatred of Sahaba is one of the main reasons behind it. So In`sha Allah I would like to know the opinions of people on this forum about this issue.

Hope you are all well. Hopefully someone can shed light on this topic that I have found elsewhere which I myself would like an answer on too, using Hadith or Quranic verses. My questions are: Why create us to worship him if he doesn't need our worship Why create us to worship him if he doesn't want our worship Why create us to give us him mercy, if he doesn't want to give us your mercy Why create us to give us him mercy, if he doesn't need to give us your mercy That looks like 4 questions, doesn't it? But they all boil down to a single question which is this: Why do anything if you have no wants or needs. According to quran.com/35/15, Allah has no wants or needs, so that means that Allah did not want to give us his mercy and Allah did not have the need to give us his mercy, i.e. if you don't want to do something, why do it? Please note that many who have attempted to answer this question have focused on the "need" part but have neglected the issue of "wanting". Any input would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Muslims are required to fast a month (Ramadan) in every year. We should stop eating, drinking and some other actions during the day and we are allowed to eat, drink, etc. again at evening. If one ask that why we should do so, what might be our answer? I want to put this question forward, so that every body can share his/her idea and we finally be able to have different reasons for fasting. In this way, we'll be able to fast in a more meaningful way and to improve our understanding about fasting.

Asalamu alaikum, I have been trying to deal with this issue for quite some time now. I am a devouted shia muslim. I do my prayers, fasting, don't drink, gamble, fornicate, or any of those things. But what I do wonder is that why is homosexuality a bad thing? I read into it a lot and hear so many of their stories on how they have to struggle to live their lives. Now we can say that perhaps they weren't born like this since biologically homosexuality is useless and that they chose this path instead. But it doesn't seem to be that way when I read about it, and getting to learn more about it. Now of course we as Muslims believe they are sinful since for another reason aside from it being not natural which is that this will in turn lead to other types of sexuality such as bestiality, incest, pedophilia, necrophilia and what not. So I don't believe in the short term but in the long term instead. Even if USA enacted a law which accepts gay marriage now its only been a year since then. But there is a long term course of gay acceptance in the Netherlands and I did my research about it and found out that its just the same as straight marriages. I hope anyone out there can be give a reasonable explanation on how this is considered wrong or at least how we as Muslims should deal with it now with all this awarness and information about them instead of just murdering them at blank point. -

There are some people who have more than 60 alter ego's and they can't control the random shift of these random aliases. One minute you're like a 3 year old sucking your thumb, the next minute you're like an ill mannered, illiterate teenager and the next minute you're an old person etc. Each distinct personality has its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. The question is, basically, doesn't this disorder infringe upon and negate the concept of freewill? Another interesting question is, why did God create such a disorder as this, for what purpose?
