  1. Now, let's say someone who differentiates themselves from you or someone who isn't familiar with qunoot prays behind an Imam of your viewpoint and the Imam and congregation do qunoot, what do you think the person who differs from you is best doing? Raising the hands and just not making the qunoot du'a or keeping the hands wherever the person would keep the hands? Would either be considered wrong and why?
  2. Salaam and Eid Mubarak. I absolutely love the Eid Qunoot. اللّهُمّ إِنّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادُكَ الصَّالِحُونَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِمَّا اسْتَعَاذَ مِنْهُ عِبَادُكَ الصَّالِحُونَ. allahumma ahla alkibriya‘i wal-`azamati wa ahla aljudi wal-jabaruti wa ahla al-`afwi wal-rrahmati wa ahla alttaqwa wal-maghfirati as’aluka bihaqqi hadha aliyawmi alladhy ja`altahu lilmuslimena `edan wa limuhammadin salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi dhukhran wa mazedan an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa an tudkhilany fe kulli khayrin adkhalta fehi muhammadan wa ala muhammadin wa an tukhrijany min kulli su‘in akhrajta minhu muhammadan wa ala muhammadin salawatuka `alayhi wa `alayhim allahumma inne as’aluka khayra ma sa’alaka `ibaduka alssalihuna wa a`udhu bika mimma ista`adha minhu `ibaduka alssalihuna O Allah: You are the Lord of glory and greatness And the Lord of magnanimity and omnipotence And the Lord of pardon and mercy, And the worthiest of being feared and the Lord of forgiveness; I beseech You in the name of this day, which You have decided to be feast for the Muslims, And to be safety and increasing honor for Muhammad—peace of Allah be upon him and his Household— (I beseech You) that You may send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, And You may include me with every item of goodness with which You have included Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, And that You save me from any item of evil from which You have saved Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, May Your blessings be upon him and upon them. O Allah: I pray You for the best of all that for which Your righteous servants have prayed You, And I seek Your protection against all that against which Your righteous servants have asked Your protection. 3. Salaam Alaikum Brothers And Sisters I'm Just Wondering When We Do Salaah We Do Qunoot In The Second Rak'ah And What I Wanted To Know Is Can You Do More Then 1 Qunoot For Instance In The Last Rak'ah? Thanks For Any And All Assistance, And Thankyou For Taking The Time To Read This Post! Allah Bless You All And Grant Us All Jannah And Shifa!
  4. S/w, Is it permissible to hold a paper in hand with dua written over it while performing salatul layl as i don't remember the duas to be recited in Qunoot?
  5. Assalamu alaikum, My question is pretty simple but it is something I haven't really understood about qunoot. When you do qunoot, can you make du'a in your own language or make dhikr (for example repeating astaghfirullah a few times or something similar) or do you have to recite a 'regular' du'a from the Quran, such as this one; RABBANAAA AATINAA FIDDUNYAA H’ASANATAW WA FIL AAKHIRATI H’ASANATAW WA QINAA A’D’AABAN NAAR I have always recited this du'a when doing qunoot but someone told me you can just ask Allah for forgiveness in your own words and I'm wondering if this is true or not?
  6. (salam) What is the minimum that can be read in the qunoot of Salat al-Witr? With some lines having to be repeated 70 and 300 times, there often is simply not enough time (for me) to say them all. :donno: (wasalam)
  7. (Salam) Can anyone suggest some good dua for parents which can be recited in Qunoot. Wassalam
