Salam, if a person’s body become najis because of urine. So how he can pak it under the shower? Is it neccessary to wash one’s body under the shower twice? Or standing under the shower will make our body pak. im not sure whether my shower is qalil or kurr. Thanks

Salam's brothers and sisters, I own a cat pet which lives indoors and often goes outside, however she does have a litter box and she manages to litter in that when she can. I feed her canned and dry food, now the food i that i give her is the usual canned food you buy from the department stores they are not halal certified. They usually come in beef, chicken or fish. The dry food comes in also different flavors and types that are available to the general public. My question is that if i feed my lunch then say after 5 mins now, as you no the nature of the cat is to usually lick her self or self cleaning as they say many times during the day, she would lick lick lick, so my question is if i touch her hair for example with my wet hands, are my hands now najis and whatever it touches, or if my cat licks her legs and then goes outside after it has rained making her feet also wet would it be in the state of najasat? i would like if someone could answer it.

alcohol ALCOHOL PUNISHMENT?!?!
Soul With Good Intentions posted a topic in General Islamic Discussion
Salaam brothers and sister. So I live in a western society like most of you, however as you may tell by the title this has to do with alcohol. So a few weeks earlier, I made a big, big mistake. I went into a bar for one. And secondly I drank alcohol. Knowing very good and well that it's haram and I know the effects of alcohol in the body, I.e. 30 days with no acceptance of prayers, can't hold the Quran etc. and the same day I did this I felt so bad it's killing me inside everyday I hate myself everyday for doing this to myself. I really, really wish I could repent by praying, but I know that my prayers wouldn't be accepted. Waiting 30 days for prayers is too long for me, unfortunately, I should have known better in that case.. Will Allah forgive me? I can't tell this to my family or anyone. People ask me why don't you pray when everyone else's praying I honestly feel smaller than an ant I don't know how to respond. I need help brothers and sisters. Any suggestions? god bless you all with a great New Years! Salaam.- 7 replies

Wikipedia has a webpage of the English translation of the Holy Qur'an by Abdullah Yusuf Ali, so I looked at it and thought this will be useful to quickly look up surahs and ayahs. I decided to click on 33:33 which is one of our beloved ayahs about Ahlul Bayt AS. Using my home computer with mouse, I clicked on Surah 33 and I saw the table of ayah numbers and the color of ayah 33 looked a little bit different than all the other ayah numbers. At first I thought somebody else already clicked on that ayah so that is why it looks different. Then I noticed that you cannot click on it, like somebody doesn't want you to read it! How strange! If you want to see 33:33, you have to physically scroll down the page until you find ayah 33. If you are using your phone, can you click on 33:33? Can anyone explain this? Is this an example of kufr in the modern time, right in front of our faces, to try to cover up ayah 33 of Surah 33? :donno: http://wikiislam.net/wiki/The_Holy_Quran_-_Abdullah_Yusuf_Ali
