Salaam, Who taught or revealed the Gospel to Jesus? Since we believe Jibraeel revealed the Qur'an to our Nabi and Jibraeel is the Arcangel of Revelation, who revealed the Gospel to Jesus and is there any evidence? Same question for Ibrahim and Musa... Did Allah speak directly to Abraham and Moses? Did Allah also speak directly to Jesus and Muhammad and is there any evidence? By "evidence" I specifically mean Ayats in Qur'an, Hadith or anything from our Imams stating these things. Thank you!
Hi all, please, I have a doubt and I need your help in case you can and want to help. Does anyone know of a work or an 3alim who really took his time to relate each of the 12 Psalms of Asaph to each of the 12 Imams of the Ahlul Bayt? It is claimed that each Psalm would reflect the character of each of the twelve Imams. I have read about it here, and in al-islam.org, but, as always, it is mentioned but never developed and deepened for us to have an evidence, like: Psalm "x" relates to Imam "x", except for Psalm 74 and its reference to to Imam Husayn according to al-islam.org (sorry I edited it, because the reference to a sacrifice by the Eufrates would com from Jeremiah 46 and not the Psalms). Can anyone help or give any source which could help? Even if it is in Arabic, Farsi or Urdu, it doesn't matter, as long as I can google translate it. Thank you very very much!
Salam. As you all know, there are five daily prayers in (shia, sunni, sufi, etc.) Islam which according to the shiite islamic school of thought can be offered in three times. The prayers are Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha. Noting that Dhuhr and Asr have common times; also Maghrib and Isha have common times. (You can and please study prayers in Islam here: http://www.al-islam.org/commentary-prayer-professor-muhsin-qaraati and how to pray here: http://praytime.info/tutor.html ) And, reding some Biblical verses, we thought how Islam is the fulfilment of the religion, both in the aspects of theology and practice.. Ok, here you go: ''As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.'' Psalm 55:16-17 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+55%3A16-17&version=KJV One day, I hope to see the Christian brethren, especially Christian brethren here praying to God in congregation with us, inshaAllah. :) ma salam
