What are the guidelines to allow one to sit and offer salaat. It is increasingly seen these days in mosques the high number of people taking to sitting and offering salaat. Can someone throw light on the border line to make a decision on when is one allowed to sit and pray?

Salam I don’t know if this applies to all Shias but from what I am aware of in my community we only pray 3 times a day unlike other Muslims who prays 5 times a day. I think we combine prayers? Either way I have passed the age where children have to start praying and I don’t know how to. I can’t find any online Shi’a praying instructions only Sunni ways. And the amount of times isn’t the only difference, we do different gestures as well I think and we pray with a clay tablet too. Can someone give me instructions on how to pray like Shias?

Salam alaikum dear sisters and brothers. - - This question is mostly to my sisters out there - So I'm a girl who lives in Europe with my family and ever since I was born, I never got to do namaaz, my parents never taught me, and I think that is the reason why I'm depressed, I believe in Allahسُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى of course, and I can say few verses from the Quran, and some few duaas. The main problem is just that I don't know how to pray, I deeply wanna learn how to, so I can start praying immediately, my heart yearns for it and I know the only way of healing myself is to pray and call out f

Salaam brothers and sisters! I opened a thread some months ago, but in case not everybody knows I converted to Shia islam about a year ago! I'm currently living in Barcelona, Spain, and here the Shia community is pretty small... I made some research and I could find a Shia Islamic Center in Barcelona, but it is about 40 minutes from where I live. Close to my house (less than 5 min) they opened a new Mosque, with new materials, modern setting-up, and looking pretty beautiful. Buuuut, it is a Sunni mosque (since the majority of muslims here in Spain are Sunni).

salam alaykum! When i was a child I got abused by my father. He used to abuse my mother and siblings too. sometimes he would just leave me and my family for a long time, like a half year. He would go to our homeland, iraq. After some time we decided to move there. We lived there a year and then moved back. Time passed, he changed. He's not abusing me anymore. Not long time ago my brother started to abuse me. One time he even wanted too kill my mother, i know its crazy. He was out of he's mind. My mom did forgive him. But now we moved back to iraq. I really don't want to live here but i want a

Hi everyone. I hope you guys are safe and well. I would love for an Shias to help me with the salah. I also want to learn the Shia wudu as well. I am a female, so I would like to learn the ghusl i need to perform in the shower after my period is finished. I have been trying to look online, but i have found resources made by Muslims that are making false versions of Shia salah. I used to know how to pray the Shia way. But I went to a Sunni school where I was forced and abused to learn there style. Now I have forgotten, and at the time i was to terrified to talk to my parents abou

Assalamu 3alaykum. On the basis that there is dream interpretation by Imam Jaffar al Sadiq (As) as well as there being real dreams (in exclusion to nafsi and shaytanic inspired dreams) if you are pure when Allah Swt raises the souls when we are sleeping (As mentioned in the Holy Quran), Is there a specific dua one can make to rely on Allah Swt to see a dream for guidance, the Imams (As), the Prophet (Sawa), a hint of the future or something symbolic? I personally have heard of experiences where people have had dreams that ended up being something true or two people
