As we recently had a lot of exchanges on this. I am myself deeply interested in understood the exact meaning of Tawassul. Because literally many shias do dua to Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) at places like mazaars and dargah by touching the Zareeh (outer boundary of grave) of a great person (not necessarily ahlulbayt (AS)). So, I personally don't doubt tawassul but rather it's limits. @Sabrejet @313_Waiter @Muhammad Al-Hurr @AStruggler Let's have a deeper discussion on it.

My father is ordering my mom to leave to another country in 2 weeks and they aren’t divorced. I told him what if my mom(his wife) doesn’t want to go(and she doesn’t want to go that early). He told me “ it doesn’t matter what she thinks, it’s whatever I say happens.” Does he have this kind of power? I know that a women is supposed to obey her husband. But I feel as if he’s being unreasonable. Can you please educate me on this subject.

Let me start the discussion, I have question : What is actual/haqiqat meaning of la haula wala quwwata ila billah ? (I only understand the meaning is "there is no power except by Allah". So can we replace the word of "power" into other such as "inteligent", "wealth", "happiness", "enjoyment", "poverty", "nation", "religion" etc. And then derive the conclusion/thought from each of word replacement. I.e. : there is no inteligent except by Allah there is no wealth except by Allah there is no happiness except by Allah there is no enjoyment except by Allah there is no poverty except by Allah there is no nation except by Allah there is no religion except by Allah .... .... ... etc)

Belief in resurrection as a great evolution in the spirit and ideas of human the pressures that comes through on her responsibilities will not be suffering, and believer stands to events and does not surrender to the injustices . But against this group, those who had faith in the Day of Resurrection, warned others that should not looked at the "quantity" of the crowd, but also the "quality" should be considered, because They trust to God and said: How many a small party has overcome a larger party by Allah’s will!" (2.249)",and finally won. فَلَمَّا فَصَلَ وَجُنُودِهِ ۚ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَاقُو اللَّـهِ كَم مِّن فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللَّـهِ ۗ وَاللَّـهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ﴿٢٤٩﴾ وَلَمَّا بَرَزُوا لِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ ﴿٢٥٠﴾طَالُوتُ بِالْجُنُودِ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ مُبْتَلِيكُم بِنَهَرٍ فَمَن شَرِبَ مِنْهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَمَن لَّمْ يَطْعَمْهُ فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي إِلَّا مَنِ اغْتَرَفَ غُرْفَةً بِيَدِهِ ۚ فَشَرِبُوا مِنْهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّنْهُمْ ۚ فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَهُ هُوَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ قَالُوا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا الْيَوْمَ بِجَالُوتَفَهَزَمُوهُم بِإِذْنِ اللَّـهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُودُ جَالُوتَ وَآتَاهُ اللَّـهُ الْمُلْكَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُ مِمَّا يَشَاءُ As Saul set out with the troops, he said, ‘Allah will test you with a stream: anyone who drinks from it will not belong to me, but those who do not drink from it will belong to me, barring someone who draws a scoop with his hand.’ But they drank from it, [all] except a few of them. So when he crossed it along with the faithful who were with him, they said, ‘We have no strength today against Goliath and his troops.’ Those who were certain that they would encounter Allah said, ‘How many a small party has overcome a larger party by Allah’s will! And Allah is with the patient.’*So when they marched out for [encounter with] Goliath and his troops, they said, ‘Our Lord, pour patience upon us, make our feet steady, and assist us against the faithless lot.’*Thus they routed them with Allah’s will, and David killed Goliath, and Allah gave him kingdom and wisdom and taught him whatever He liked.(2.249 to 251)
