In the Bible Jesus is reported to have told one of his followers "we will always have the poor" but do we have to? I've read that during a time in islamic history, it actually became difficult to find a poor person to give charity. Among certain ethnic communities today there is virtually no poverty. Can this lifestyle of helping and uplifting each other be done on a global scale? If so, how do we overcome political, linguistic, and ideological boundaries, respecting differences but not allowing them to divide us? More than 700 million people live in extreme poverty, and must continually struggle to even meet basic needs. 70 percent of the world's extremely poor people live in southern Asia and sub-saharan Africa. These regions are not resource poor, they've just historically been mismanaged and abused under colonialism. There are agencies that help, or try to help anyway, but often they lack coordination with other agencies and knowledge of local conditions and economies. Quite often their help is only short term benefit. Sometimes it makes things much worse in the long run. 1. What can people and leadership in these subsistence poor areas do to help lift themselves out of dire poverty? 2. What can the average person in a middle class or higher family do to improve our world by improving the situation of the extremely poor in our own communities and abroad? 3. What can you do? What will you do?
The world we are living in is orphan, the master of our world was forced to hide, and his reappearance time is unknown, the consequence is terrible, watch this video below to remember the existence of people who beg for what we are throwing out. MUST WATCH DOCUMENTARY. May Allah swt, rid the world with injustice and evil. May Allah give to those in need and take from those who take unjustly. Always be thankful to your lord. Ahlulbayt TV travelled to Kenya to visit poverty stricken families aided by the Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya. We follow the lives of different families who faced a lot of difficulty but now live in better conditions through economic empowerment.
Unfortunately there are people in this world who are in poverty. People without homes and without clothes, without food and water etc. How are these people expected to prayer to God. I understand that this is a very small minority of the world's population but how is someone living in a poor country in Africa expected to prayer when they don't even have water to perform wuduh. Or a woman/man expected to cover their bodies when they don't have clothes? I don't know maybe these people are let off because of their situation, I'm not suggesting God forces us to do things we can't, but I was wondering what your opinions are?
Salaam Allaykum, One of the questions I feel unable to answer and a question that very many atheists ask is: "Why did God create poverty, disease, miscarriage etc." I'm sure theres a perfectly reasonable answer, especially considering that this is a question all religious people, of all faiths may come across however I was wondering what your answers are. By the way, I am aware that sometimes atheists tend to ask about issues such as death, mild illnesses and such trivial things that we all undergo at one point or another and when these questions are asked I have no difficulty in providing an answer. It's the really serious and unfortunate problems that only very few people may undergo that I have no answer for. Thanks for taking your time to read (and respond).
