  1. I personally have mixed opinions on him. I believed he helped Turkey resurge and modernize greatly and saved them from being torn up by European powers, but many of his policies (particularly towards the Armenians after the genocide and his brutal subjugation of the Kurds) objectionable. What do you think?
  2. https://english.alarabiya.net/amp/News/middle-east/2022/09/16/Iranian-woman-beaten-by-police-for-not-wearing-hijab-dies-after-coma Utterly disgusting.
  3. One thing that I do not really understand is that liberal Democrats in the U.S. are being labelled “communists” by political rightists. Obviously the Democrats are pushing liberal social agendas. But on economics I can’t really see any “communistic” aspects. A look at the Biden administration shows this. A key plank of communism is the abolition of profit. Under Biden public programs such as Medicare are being privatised through subcontracting. Profiteering is being encouraged through the use of direct contracting entities (DCE). (Incidentally, by resorting to DCEs, the Biden administration is actually continuing a Trump-era policy, as the preceding article notes.) The Biden administration, which opposes Medicare for All, also approved the largest increase in Medicare premiums on record. Future Medicare cuts are planned. In addition to supporting Clinton’s welfare reform, Biden has repeatedly voted for neoliberal free-trade agreements such as NAFTA and the TPP. Open borders certainly helps complement these pro-capitalist agreements. In Latin America Biden has supported widespread privatisation and militarisation. I don’t see the Biden administration collectivising agriculture, as was done in the Soviet Union and other communist states, for instance. He certainly isn’t nationalising the privately-owned Federal Reserve. Aside from the social issues, what is the basis of calling Biden and Co. “communists”? On economic issues there isn’t a trace of communism.
  4. Salaam, Jordan, Egypt, UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, Saudi Arabia (apparently) and now Morocco: https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2020/12/10/israel-morocco-agree-to-normalise-relations-in-us-brokered-deal#click=https://t.co/banbRgkQLn Who's next in the chain of normalization and how can this change the political situation in the Middle-East in favor of Israel?
  5. Salam Alaykom, I've been a Twitter user myself for a very long time and honestly i don't think that i have ever come across a more toxic platform. There is so much division amongst members of society and religious sects on it. There are countless arguments on a daily basis amongst sects and other groups. At first i thought it due to Twitter's young users however this isn't the case, you get many full grown adults arguing on a daily basis too. It's as if they feed off it. What's your take on this? Do you share the same opinion?
  6. LOTS of people are stressing and panicking that the antichrist is closer to us than we tought! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Top Rabbis: Look at the Signs, Messiah is Coming! He’s already at the door, according to leading Israeli Torah scholar. August 3, 2020 | Ryan Jones A+ A- Hadas Parush/Flash90 Israel is about to go to the polls for a third election in less than a year. It’s an unprecedented, and frankly embarrassing situation. But several top rabbis say there’s a silver lining: Such turmoil must herald the coming of the Messiah. Rabbi Shlomo Amar, the former Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, told a gathering earlier this month that the list of significant signs over the past year simply cannot be ignored. Israel seems unable to elect a government; US President Trump, the most powerful leader in the world, has, like King Cyrus, endorsed Jewish sovereignty in the Promised Land; The kings of the world came up to Jerusalem last month to honor the Jewish people. “These are things we never dreamed of!” exclaimed Rabbi Amar. “How can these things be if not as preparation for the coming of the Messiah?” Messiah is at the door Rabbi Amar went on to recount a recent encounter with the rabbi who was his spiritual adviser 51 years earlier at yeshiva. That rabbi is still closely connected with Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, who attended the same yeshiva and is today considered one of the leading Torah scholars in the ultra-Orthodox Jewish world. According to Amar’s former spiritual adviser, he was just about to leave for a trip abroad recently when Rabbi Kanievsky stopped him, saying, “You are going abroad? You don’t know that the Messiah is standing at the door?” Signs of the times Rabbi Amar went on to say: “All the great rabbis of this generation are saying that the Messiah is about to reveal himself. All the signs the prophets gave, all the signs predicted in the Gemara, the Mishnah, the Midrash, everything is taking place, one by one. All we need is to remain strong for a little bit longer.” He then urged Jews everywhere to commit themselves to Torah observance, in particular keeping the Shabbat. Orthodox Judaism has long taught that Messiah will only come once all Jews are sanctifying the Shabbat. It is notable how closely Rabbi Amar’s exhortation echoes that of Yeshua (Jesus): “Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning, and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the wedding feast, so that they may open the door to him at once when he comes and knocks. …You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” (Luke 12:35-40) Start praying Just days after Rabbi Amar made those stunning remarks, Rabbi Avner Efghin expressed a similar view in an interview with the religious Israeli news portal Kikar Hashabbat. Efghin is one of the world’s top Kabbalist rabbis, and, according to Kikar Hashabbat, a spiritual leader to a growing number of Orthodox Jews across Europe and the United States. He likewise believes that “what has happened here over the past year is most definitely a sign of [the coming of] Messiah. …It would be advisable [at this time] to study Torah and pray.” scource: https://www.israeltoday.co.il/read/top-rabbis-look-at-the-signs-messiah-is-coming/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We all know that the jews will be the ones who will follow the antichrist because they are the ones who did not belief that the Messiah was born yet. they belief that the messiah will appear soon and they recomend all the other jews to prepare for his apereance! lots of christians are panicking because they know everything about the Antichrist who should return before the real Messiah. On sociolmedia it seems like lots of muslims are restless and some even preparing for the return of the mahdi who will be the ultimate sign before the antichrist arives. BUT some muslims even belief and mention that the Antichrist can appear before the Mahdi which causes lots of muslims to panick because of uncertainties of what really should happen. who is the Antichrist? where will he raise? were will he come from? will he be a jew? will he be a basic human being? when will imam mahdi (aj) appear?what exactly does islam say about the antichrist and what are the signs of it? what are youre toughts and knowledge about it ? commend down below!
  7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8nvsZmDhjM&feature=youtu.be Tupac Shakur and Malcolm X were Shia as said in this interview by one of Malcolm's relatives. Did ya'll know this? Its is new to me. 9. Was Maradona an anti-imperialist? I literslly lack any knowledge on this topic. But recently I have found a lot of Islamic and specifically shia channels honoring Maradona specifically. Not his game, but his humane part. Can someone share their knowledge regarding Maradona's political and social stances???
  10. Just wanted to share an interesting Twitter thread that I found studying the dynamics of the Muslim community in America that helps to explain how a third of American Muslims voted for a guy that tried to install a Muslim ban. Obviously, we can go to the fact that about 50% of American Muslims identify as either African American or white, both of whom are non-migrant racial sectors. This is sort of important to me at least, because usually those that don't identify as recent immigrants don't usually share the same anxieties tied with immigration. Same kind of goes for those within the Latino category that have been in the country for up to 3 generations almost, or come from immigrant parents that were quite privileged in a way compared to working-class immigrants. In any case, I think this points to an important factor: we share a religious affiliation, not a political one. Of course, I personally believe that if you believe in Allah and the Last Day, you also believe in the dignity of human beings and the eventual humiliation of all the world's oppressors. That, as believers, we must stand up for what is right no matter how unpopular it may seem at the time. But, much like with many Christians, very few Muslims are actually consistent with both their religious views and their political views. They may, for instance, curse Yazid, and yet vote for Trump the next day. We all have our share of hypocrites, clearly. I hope this shows people that simple religious affiliation says nothing about a person's character.
  11. https://english.almasirah.net/post/15810/Mercenaries-Chaos-and-Project-of-Occupying-Socotra-06-05-2020 https://english.almasirah.net/post/15816/Mercenaries-Chaos-and-Project-of-Occupying-Socotra https://english.almasirah.net/post/16071/Sana-a-Warns-UAE-of-Danger-of-Continued-Colonization-of-Yemen-s-Socotra-Island https://english.almasirah.net/post/16050/UAE-Sends-New-Military-Reinforcements-to-Socotra https://english.almasirah.net/post/15988/UAE-Expands-Its-Intelligence-Work-in-Yemen-s-Socotra-Island The aggression forces are clearly planning to occupy if not whole then atleast the southern Yemeni Island of Socotra. And more important than this news is that it appears to have many stakeholders except the Arab aggression forces. Above links I shared points to a bitter reality that it is under the eyes of us and the west and even Israeli invaders. This needs to be heard because most of the world seems to be unaware about it even if they know something about Yemen.
  12. Establising a network It has been said as long the 313 aren’t collected then the return of imam al Mahdi will also be extended.. trough all the technology we have it’s much more easier to get into a communication with people who live on the other side of the world.. technically we don’t have a reason to not create a network and preparing for his pleasant return. if we would start to create a network than its not really that important to have seen each other in real live... trough social network we can do its actually easier and much more save.. if we Got connected To each other trough socialmedia like;twitter,Instagram,Facebook, tiktok etc... we could easily work together by creating group chats and working together to spread the messegas of ahlalbait!! for example I was downloading TikTok with an intention to post about Shia Islam and spreading it and showing that Shia Islam isn’t a kuffar religion etc... I found out that I was not only one with such idea... i saw how lots of people spreaded Shia Islam in no time.. and people constantly asking who the halal Bayt actually are... so social network makes it so much easier to spread knowledge and get in contact with people from the other side of the world!! no one can be left alone coz everyone can safely join it!! Either anonymously or without Btw I really want to be clear!! Everyone who doesn’t want to join then ignore the post and if you are interest than please let’s help each other to create a huge social network from different countries all over the world..let’s not forget that’s its our future and it can get destroyed if we wouldn’t work together because of the satanical world we start to live in with lots of legalizations of disguising things.. please remember our future and the next ones.. you’re thoughts??
  13. Its disguisting how the world started hating the muslim society (especially shia-islam) at once! for example: we all know in the western culture that someone can be rejected for work on application interview only because his foreign islamic name or even of their appereance like a hijab. Or if we take it more worse like being rejected for a study only with a hijab on!!! -> lately a lot of schools/universities are opening a new law for students to not wear a hijab and if you don't agree then you should get off the school! that means its getting more and more tight for the muslims these days especially women with a hijab on! I will put down below some of the hijab-bans from this year ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1,Macron's anti-Islam remarks trigger far-right policies in Franc French President Emmanuel Macron's recent remarks that target Islam triggered far-right groups in the country to implement anti-Muslim policies, especially against Muslim women who wear headscarves. Macron recently claimed that some Islamic religious practices are "separatist" because they carry the threat of seceding from French institutions and rules. scources:https://www.dailysabah.com/world/europe/macrons-anti-islam-remarks-trigger-far-right-policies-in-france France, Oct. 7, 2020. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.BRUSSELS Some 1,000 people took the streets in the Belgian capital on Sunday to advocate for the right to wear headscarves at universities. scources:https://www.aa.com.tr/en/europe/belgian-protest-for-headscarf-rights-at-university/1900618 Belgium 05.07.2020 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- countries with hijab ban 1.Kosovo (since 2009) 2.Turkey (gradually lifted) 3.Azerbaijan (since 2010) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- there are multiple hadith saying that the muslims in the end of time will experience a really hard time, since the begin of 2000 the world turned step by step more arrogant towards an inocent religion and is busy accusing the muslims of alots of attacks (9 11-building) which we haven't done.. if you look at the difference of life before 2000 then everyone will say it was unjust BUT never against islam as much as now.. what are youre toughts???

  15. For those who know: What is this cartoon? It’s filled with satanic and freemas0n symbols and it allegedly predicts world events (political). Who made it? Is it true that the 3lite work through symbols in media?
  16. Salam I have been continuously thinking the Cui Bono part of this man made pathogen of Corona virus. So to determine , What benefits are these perpetrators going to accrue from this pandemic,i came across this term Surveillance Capitalism. What is deducted uptil now is that pandemic benefits the most for capitalists in their vague agendas for global governance. Also what has unfolded is that apparently democratic states have grabbed extravagant powers for public controls, lock down, curfews and even individual monitoring through cellphones negating basic rights contained in every constitution. Thus, it would be interesting and timely to understand this term Surveillance Capitalism in detail and predict probable policy making of capitalism. As a concerned citizen and Muslim seeking global justice , i am looking for learned insight into this term Surveillance Capitalism and how do you perceive globalisation of capitalism post Covid crisis??

  18. Nigerian state bans main Shia group led by Zakzaky Back in April, UK-based rights group Amnesty International published evidence revealing how the Nigerian military BURNED PEOPLE ALIVE, razed buildings and secretly dumped victims’ bodies in mass graves in the December 2015 deadly assaults. “The true horror of what happened over those two days in Zaria is only now coming to light. Bodies were left littered in the streets and piled outside the mortuary. Some of the injured were burned alive,” said Netsanet Belay, Amnesty International’s Research and Advocacy Director for Africa. http://presstv.com/Detail/2016/10/08/488114/Nigeria-Kaduna-IMN-Ibrahim-Zakzaky
  19. Read the Reddit comments to understand what the thread was about, since the post has since been deleted. ....................................................................................... I'm so tired of the utterly nonsensical and VERY COMMON Sunni notion of 'I am happy to seek unity with Shias as long as they don't curse/insult/abuse any Sahaba, and especially NOT Aisha, Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman. Firstly, any Shia claim regarding the sahabi that happens to go against the Sunni narrative is considered insulting. Secondly, and more importantly, is that the same notion is true for Shias... You are insulting the Ahlul Bayt by not accepting them as divinely appointed leaders of Allah, and infallible individuals, and perfect preservers of the religion of Islam, and a high means of seeking closeness to Allah (intercession). Not only are you insulting revered Shia figures by not following them, you are commiting MAJOR shirk by giving a false attribute to Allah, by saying that Allah has not always appointed an infallible leader on this Earth, and that there currently isn't an infallible leader. Furthermore, the real kicker is that plenty of revered Shia figures, such as Abu Talib (رضي الله عنه), are considered kuffar by Sunnis. Is this not insulting? So, how can we Shias unite with Sunnis based on their own fallacious logic? Shias are the minority, and Sunnis are the majority. It makes Sunnis think that they are Orthodox and that they have to unite with Heterodox for political and humanitarian reasons, and that Shias must make [ridiculous] compromises. Shias are far more receptive to the unity message, because we actually understand Sunni Islam, and can see the commonalities. We understand that we can't make Sunnis compromise on their beliefs. Simply by being the minority within Islam, by nature we Shias already understand Sunni beliefs, whereas Sunnis have a basic strawman understanding of Shia beliefs... which is natural, considering that they are the majority. Anyways, the point of my post is the following: Let's compile a list of revered Shia figures that are not given their proper status by Sunnis, according to Shia Islam... with an explanation given. ...This is to show that we Shias and Sunnis can unite, but we cannot unite upon revered figures and imamah. ...This will also serve as a way of showing Sunnis that this argument of theirs makes no sense. Another important question we may ask is "What about commonly revered figures like Imam Ali (عليه السلام) who is given different status in both sects? Can we unite upon Imam Ali (عليه السلام)?" ...a common Sunni criticism of political unity is that "Ali ibn Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) is given an improper status in Shia religion because they call upon him... tawassul (intercession) of the 'dead' is Shirk! So there is absolutely no room for unity since we can't even agree on the status of the sahabi" [yes, I am aware that the Imams (عليه السلام) are still alive, but Sunnis don't believe this...] I would love to hear your thoughts. Wassalam. JazakAllah Khair. Fi sabilillah.
  20. For the past couple of weeks, I have heard about how Sheikh Jaffer Jaffer has said something controversial about some Pakistani cultural practices. In my community, there has been a huge uproar from the Pakistani side. Anyways context aside, does anyone know what he said and as well what are your opinions on it. (I personally think that you should not be getting so mad about it because it is culture not religion)
  21. Just feel like sharing this content here for seeking knowledge about this issue between the relationship of Iran and USA which I know is not good and never will be good. Is breaking off this deal good or bad long-term for Iran? Would it benefit or hurt Iran? What do you all think about this issue? I'm at a loss for words and confused.
