Besmellah Salaam, inshAllah you are in the state of good health and iman. One of my friends tells me that I analyze some things a bit excessively, but I can't help it when some form of art is so extraordinary & well depicted! I came across a picture fairly recently and thought I'd share it since I felt that the meaning behind it was quite ingenious. It would be interesting to read what your take on this visual is and share any other form of Hejab-related art you think is thought provoking. jazakAllah khair :)

Salaam everyone, I want to let everyone know about a venture I've started - Salam Stock (www.salamstock.com). It is a mix between Flickr and istock.com - but for the Muslim niche. Contributors can share your content for free or sell their files royalty-free. I started this project because of the obvious imbalance that exists with Muslim imagery on the web (just google "Muslim" on google images to see what I mean), and because I felt that we needed a place for the talented people of the community to properly showcase what the Muslim image really was. I hope you guys check it out, let me know what you think or if you have questions. You can find out a little more at www.salamstock.com/tour. Azhar

I am searching for forums/website where I can collaborate with shia creative professionals. They can be from any field and can have any expertise. For instance Documentary filmmakers, photographers, writers, journalists, bloggers, graphic designers etc. There is a lot of room for us to do the right work that tells the world who we are and communicate the message of Imam a.s. I have several projects that I can work on if I can get someone to produce the project. Can someone point me in the right direction? Also Im hoping to find someone who would like to collaborate with me to apply for the TFI Media Fund as given below. @voiceofqaim ABOUT The TFI New Media Fund provides funding and support to non-fiction, social issue media projects which go beyond traditional screens – integrating film with content across media platforms, from video games and mobile apps to social networks and interactive websites.
