(1) Have a Ghusl (2) Put on new or clean clothes and apply perfume. , (3) Keep fast & (4) Recite a 4 Rak-a't salaat, ( 2X 2) after the Z'uhr and A'sr prayers, as under:- -In the first Rak-a't after the recitation of Soorah Al Faatih'ah, recte Soorah Al Qadr X10 times. -In the second Rak-a't, after the recitation of Soorah Al Faatih'ah, recite Soorah Al Kaafiroon X 10 times. -In the third Rak-a't, after the recitation of Soorah Al-Faatih'ah, recite Soorah Al Ikhlaas X10 times. -In the fourth Rak-a't, after the recitation of Soorah Al Faatih'ah, recite Soorah Al Falaq X10 times, and Soorah Al Naas X 10 times. After the Salaam go into Sajdah and recite the following dua’a: http://www.duas.org/nawroz.htm نْ مُعَلَّی بْنِ خُنَیسٍ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَی الصَّادِقِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ع یوْمَ النَّیرُوزِ فَقَالَ أَ تَعْرِفُ هَذَا الْیوْمَ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاک هَذَا یوْمٌ تُعَظِّمُهُ الْعَجَمُ وَ تَتَهَادَی فِیهِ فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّادِقُ ع وَ الْبَیتِ الْعَتِیقِ الَّذِی بِمَکةَ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا لِأَمْرٍ قَدِیمٍ أُفَسِّرُهُ لَک حَتَّی تَفْهَمَهُ قُلْتُ یا سَیدِی إِنْ عُلِمَ هَذَا مِنْ عِنْدِک أَحَبُّ إِلَی مِنْ أَنْ یعِیشَ أَمْوَاتِی وَ تَمُوتَ أَعْدَائِی فَقَالَ یا مُعَلَّی إِنَّ یوْمَ النَّیرُوزِ هُوَ الْیوْمُ الَّذِی أَخَذَ اللَّهُ فِیهِ مَوَاثِیقَ الْعِبَادِ أَنْ یعْبُدُوهُ وَ لَا یشْرِکوا بِهِ شَیئاً وَ أَنْ یؤْمِنُوا بِرُسُلِهِ وَ حُجَجِهِ وَ أَنْ یؤْمِنُوا بِالْأَئِمَّةِ ع وَ هُوَ أَوَّلُ یوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ فِیهِ الشَّمْسُ وَ هَبَّتْ فِیهِ الرِّیاحُ وَ خُلِقَتْ فِیهِ زَهْرَةُ الْأَرْضِ وَ هُوَ الْیوْمُ الَّذِی اسْتَوَتْ فِیهِ سَفِینَةُ نُوحٍ عَلَی الْجُودِی وَ هُوَ الْیوْمُ الَّذِی حَمَلَ فِیهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ‏ ص أَمِیرَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ص عَلَی مَنْکبِهِ حَتَّی رَمَی أَصْنَامَ قُرَیشٍ مِنْ فَوْقِ الْبَیتِ الْحَرَامِ فَهَشَمَهَا وَ کذَلِک إِبْرَاهِیمُ ع وَ هُوَ الْیوْمُ الَّذِی أَمَرَ النَّبِی ص أَصْحَابَهُ أَنْ یبَایعُوا عَلِیاً ع بِإِمْرَةِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ وَ هُوَ الْیوْمُ الَّذِی وَجَّهَ النَّبِی ص عَلِیاً ع إِلَی وَادِی الْجِنِّ یأْخُذُ عَلَیهِمُ الْبَیعَةَ لَهُ وَ هُوَ الْیوْمُ الَّذِی بُویعَ فِیهِ لِأَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع فِیهِ الْبَیعَةَ الثَّانِیةَ وَ هُوَ الْیوْمُ الَّذِی ظَفِرَ فِیهِ بِأَهْلِ نَهْرَوَانَ وَ قَتَلَ ذَا الثُّدَیةِ وَ هُوَ الْیوْمُ الَّذِی یظْهَرُ فِیهِ قَائِمُنَا وَ وُلَاةُ الْأَمْرِ وَ هُوَ الْیوْمُ الَّذِی یظْفَرُ فِیهِ قَائِمُنَا ع بِالدَّجَّالِ فَیصْلِبُهُ عَلَی کنَاسَةِ الْکوفَةِ وَ مَا مِنْ یوْمِ نَیرُوزٍ إِلَّا وَ نَحْنُ نَتَوَقَّعُ فِیهِ الْفَرَجَ لِأَنَّهُ مِنْ أَیامِنَا وَ أَیامِ شِیعَتِنَا حَفِظَتْهُ الْعَجَمُ وَ ضَیعْتُمُوهُ أَنْتُمْ وَ قَالَ إِنَّ نَبِیاً مِنَ الْأَنْبِیاءِ سَأَلَ رَبَّهُ کیفَ یحْیی هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمَ الَّذِینَ خَرَجُوا فَأَوْحَی اللَّهُ إِلَیهِ أَنْ یصُبَّ الْمَاءَ عَلَیهِمْ فِی مَضَاجِعِهِمْ فِی هَذَا الْیوْمِ وَ هُوَ أَوَّلُ یوْمٍ مِنْ سَنَةِ الْفُرْسِ فَعَاشُوا وَ هُمْ ثَلَاثُونَ أَلْفاً فَصَارَ صَبُّ الْمَاءِ فِی النَّیرُوزِ سُنَّةً الْخَبَرَ. «مستدرک ‏الوسائل ج :6 ص:353 ، بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ صَلَاةِ یوْمِ النَّیرُوزِ وَ الْغُسْلِ فِیهِ وَ الصَّوْمِ وَ لُبْسِ أَنْظَفِ الثِّیابِ وَ الطِّیبِ وَ تَعْظِیمِهِ وَ صَبِّ الْمَاءِ فِیهِ» The execution of Imam Sadiq (as) on the New Year's Eve It is narrated from Mu'ali ibn Khānis that he said: "I came to Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) in the day of Nowruz saying: Do you know what day is today? I said: your godfearing, this is the day that Ajam greets it and presents it. Imam Sadiq (as) said: I swear to the Bayt Al'atiq that is in Mecca (Ka'bah), this is not for the old one, but I tell it for you to understand it. I said: O my Master! If this is learned from you, it is more lovely for me than my living conditions and my enemies to die. So Imam said: Oh you Nowruz is the day when: 1. Allah took from the servants the covenants that they would worship him and not put him on a parable 2. Believe in the Prophets and believe in the Imams (AS) 3. The first day the sun has risen and the winds have been shot and the earth's ornament has been created on this day. 4. Day is the day when Noah's Ark was established on Mount Judy 5. It is the day when the Prophet (pbuh) put Amir al-Mu'minin on his shoulders to stone and break the idols of Quraysh from the top of Beit al-Haram, and so on about Abraham (as) 6. The day when the Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered his companions to swear allegiance to Ali (as) in the name of Amir al-Mu'minīn and on that day the second allegiance was made. 7. It was the day Ali (as) came to victory on Nahrawan, and killed Zuthadiae (the owner of two breasts) 8. It is the day when the Qa'im and the Provinces of Allah arise and it is the day when our believer (peace be upon him) becomes vivtorious over the Dajjal , and he will kill him in the trash of Kufa, and he will not have the day of Norouz, Because that day is our days and our Shiite days that Ajam retained it while you were losing it. And he said: A prophet of the prophets asked his Allah how he would revive this people who died and exited, which God revealed to him to give water to their graves. On this day, the first day of the Iranian year, they were resurrected and lived, with their number of thirty thousand, and so sprinkling of water in the tradition of Nowruz.
