We have festivals at our college like all other colleges a theme is to be followed which is often unconventional, the functions start off with drama and theater and ends up in dance and music over all it is a Haram gathering in every way possible but I just feel so miserable not being able to go not being able to dress a certain way because my own guilt on doing Haram will make me end up feeling even more miserable than before but I just feel so left out.It is my last year at college and I wanted to try everything but it just seems like the world isn't even a place for a practicing Muslim to have ANY sort of pleasure in life don't remind me that dunya is not the place for a momin to live etc etc I just mean that being a practicing Muslim I feel like I have stripped off the right to indulge in anything that happens in the college life because it is Haram in one way or the other. But then abstaining from sins is supposed to make you happy why am I turning into a bitter, angry individuals who hates people and herself???
