  1. The Daily Express US planning to permanently relocate 1 million Palestinians from Gaza to Libya Story by Housnia Shams • © Getty The US government is reportedly in talks with Libyan officials on a plan to permanently relocate up to 1 million Palestinians from Gaza to Libya. A report by NBC News, which cited unnamed sources, said the Trump Administration had discussed the proposal with Libya's leadership. Washington would reportedly offer Libya billions of dollars of funds that the US froze more than a decade ago in exchange for the resettling of Palestinians. No final deal has been reached. A former US official told NBC News that financial incentives, including free housing, may be offered to Palestinians to encourage them to voluntarily leave Gaza. The White House is also reportedly considering resettling Palestinians in Syria, the report said. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has backed a plan by US President Donald Trump to take over Gaza and resettle displaced residents outside the enclave. Last week, Netanyahu said Israel was working to find third countries willing to take in Palestinians. "We have put together an administration that will allow them to leave, but the problem with us is one thing - we need receptive countries," Netanyahu said. ) And, you know, I have concepts for Gaza that I WXIA-TV Atlanta Proposing a Freedom Zone for Gaza "That's what we're working on right now. If you give them the go-ahead, I tell you that more than 50 percent will leave, and I think much more." Trump's proposal has been widely condemned by allies in the Middle East who have warned that relocating Palestinians from Gaza would threaten stability in the region, expand the conflict and undermine the push for a two-state solution. Human Rights Watch said it amounted to "ethnic cleansing." Israel launched dozens of airstrikes across Gaza on Friday that killed 108 people, mostly women and children, according to health officials. Gaza's Health Ministry said 31 children and 27 women were killed and hundreds more wounded in the airstrikes. It comes days after Netanyahu declared that Israeli forces would enter Gaza with "full force," adding that there was "no way" Israel would stop the war. "In the coming days, we are going in with full force to complete the operation," he said earlier this week. "Completing the operation means defeating Hamas." His comments come after Israel's Cabinet approved a plan to capture all of Gaza and move hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to the territory's south. In March, Israel blocked the entry of all food, water and other aid supplies to two million people in Gaza, causing what is believed to be the worst humanitarian crisis since the war began in October 2023. The move was widely condemned by aid groups, who have accused Israel of using starvation as a weapon of war.
  2. Salam alaykum, brothers and sisters, I am a 20-year-old Shia Muslim from Afghanistan, and I recently (6-7 months ago) met a Sunni Palestinian sister who is also 20 years old. Alhamdulillah, we quickly formed a strong bond and fell in love. Now, we want to make our relationship halal and legitimate Islamically, as we acknowledge that we have not followed the proper rules thus far. Insha’Allah, we are planning to formalize our relationship by summer. My intention is to approach her father and officially ask for her hand in engagement. However, we are facing a dilemma that I would really appreciate some advice on. While we are both at a valid age for marriage, I recognize that as a male, I may mature later than a female. This raises concerns about how things may unfold in the next 4-5 years and whether I might change in ways that could affect our relationship. That said, I truly want to be with her, especially since she has recently started embracing Shi‘ism. Theologically, we are now aligned, and while we come from different cultural backgrounds, we believe that is something we can manage together. One of my biggest concerns is whether Allah will place barakah in this relationship or if we may struggle due to the way we initially went about it. Since we didn’t follow the correct Islamic guidelines from the start, I fear that this could affect Allah’s support and blessing in our future together. We both want to do things the right way now, but I don’t know if that is enough to make up for our past mistakes. I would really appreciate advice on the following: How can we ensure that our marriage is blessed with barakah despite our past mistakes? Am I realistically too young to commit to marriage at this stage, or is this just an unnecessary worry? If age is a concern, what signs should I look for to determine whether I am truly ready? Jazakum Allahu khayran.
  3. TAG24 NEWS Trump targets pro-Palestinian student protestors with alarming new order Story by Rey Harris • 2h Washington DC - President Donald Trump is reportedly preparing to go after non-citizen college students who used their First Amendment right to protest the US government's role in Israel's war on Gaza. Reports claim that President Donald Trump will soon sign an executive order to deport non-citizen college students who protested the war in Gaza.© MANDEL NGAN / AFP According to Reuters, Trump is expected to sign an executive order on Wednesday authorizing the Justice Department to take "immediate action" in prosecuting "terroristic threats, arson, vandalism and violence against American Jews." In a fact sheet reviewed by the outlet, Trump claimed the order would combat "the explosion of antisemitism on our campuses and streets" and specifically target protesters who committed vandalism, intimidation, or violence. "To all the resident aliens who joined in the pro-jihadist protests, we put you on notice: come 2025, we will find you, and we will deport you," Trump wrote. "I will also quickly cancel the student visas of all Hamas sympathizers on college campuses, which have been infested with radicalism like never before," he added. The Justice Department will have 60 days to provide the White House with recommendations on how to move forward with combating antisemitism. Trump vows to cancel student visas of Gaza protestors Israel has been bombing the Gaza Strip ever since the terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023. The bombing campaign has killed hundreds of thousands of civilians, resulting in backlash from critics all over the world. Protests erupted across the US, most notably on college campuses, as protesters called on the US to stop providing arms to fund what they and many human rights experts describe as a genocide by Israel. Trump and other Republicans quickly labeled the protests and any other pro-Palestinian sentiments as antisemitic and pro-Hamas and have repeatedly called for participants to be arrested or deported for their beliefs. 5. Salaamu Alaykum, I have so many questions about the Shia population of Europe, especially where it may overlap with the Levantine Arab population. I, myself, am Lebanese, and although I cherish the opportunity to meet new people and learn about new cultures, I sometimes feel quite alienated not being around others from my same cultural background. For personal reasons, I am considering living in Italy. Of course, I plan to visit before making any permanent changes, nevertheless, I'd like to have some idea of the situation there. If you have any information, however relevant, please enlighten me. Jazak Allah Kheir.
  6. Salaam, what is the logic behind Muslims, or even Christians, who are not Pro Palestine? For example, a Muslim Indian says he is not Pro Palestine because "The Jews have more unity and the Arabs are always in conflict with each other" But The Zionists are killing the Palestinian people? I don't understand his logic,I don't agree with him. The Kashmiri people are dealing with the same issue as well, genocide, persecution and opression by India and Pakistan government
  7. (bismillah) A senior Iranian military commander says Iran is ready to fully support the "growing" Palestinian resistance movement. “We are prepared to support the Palestinian resistance in various aspects. In defending Muslims, we recognize no distinction between Shias and Sunnis,” commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said on Monday. He added that the Gaza conflict indicated that the power of Palestinian resistance is “endless and growing.” The IRGC commander further emphasized that the number of rockets launched into Israel and the Palestinian fighters' ability in confronting the Israeli ground invasion is proof to the Palestinian resistance’s growing power. He added that the events in the Gaza Strip and Iraq are the result of the joint US-Israeli policies. “The Zionist regime [of Israel] will collapse soon as a result of the unity among Shia and Sunni Muslims and we are ready for that day,” Jafari pointed out." Medical sources say at least 1,822 people, including 400 children, have been killed and over 9,400 injured since the Israeli regime began its offensive against the Gaza Strip on July 8. “The Zionist regime [of Israel] will collapse soon as a result of the unity among Shia and Sunni Muslims and we are ready for that day,” Jafari pointed out. Palestinian resistance fighters are continuing their rocket attacks against Israeli cities in retaliation for the Tel Aviv regime’s relentless onslaught on the blockaded Gaza Strip. The Israeli military says 64 Israeli soldiers have been killed in the four-week conflict, but Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, puts the fatalities at more than 150. http://presstv.com/detail/2014/08/04/374002/iran-ready-to-fully-support-palestine/
