Bismillah, salaam. There was an attack on a Imam Bargah in Peshawar, Pakistan, during Jumu'ah prayers. 30 martyred, over 50 injured. Please pray for the maghfirah of the martyred, well-being and patience for the injured and afflicted families, and of course for the swift advent of our Imam a.j.t.f (عليه السلام) so the enemies of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى), His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), and His Messenger's Progeny (عليه السلام) may be brought to 'Adl. Wasalaam.

Asking for my family/extended family members in Pakistan, whom I may not be able to join on a trip to Iraq/Iran: which ziarat/tour operators would you recommend, and that you have tried and tested? I would like the operator to manage all main components of the trip (visas, hotels, etc.) with minimal supervision of my family, as they are elderly.

video Shi'a Islam and Contemporary Pakistani Education
Muntazir e Mahdi posted a topic in Urdu / اُردُو
I made a video recently on how the current content of education material plays a role in the oppression of Shi'a Muslims. I posted the video in General Islamic Discussion before, but just now realised that since it is so focused on Pakistani education, I should post it here. JazakAllah- 2 replies

As we pass the middle mark of 2013 the death toll for Pakistani Shias number in the hundreds. But this account keeping erodes as it becomes clear that neither the military nor political parties are willing to take action to stop these crimes. The naive idea that courts see the dead as anything other than numerical figures is being abandoned. Granted that security has been increased in certain areas and people increasingly sympathize with victims. The overall sense of alienation is still present as suicide bombers and target killers are still lined up to kill the innocent. Although personally uninterested in the Quds rallies in Pakistan, I have recently succumbed to the idea of attending. However my reasoning has more to do with Pakistan than the Palestinian issue. Pictures of children marching with replica guns incite a fervid desire to participate in these rallies. The animosity shown towards the distant Israelis and Americans is becoming analogous to a third unmentioned entity. The Pakistani government, ISI and courts. Perhaps that was initially the point. Maybe these rallies should become fronts to show the intense anger and willingness of the Pakistani Shias. The fact that this passion can easily be shifted from the distant foreign Israelis to local government within a second should be alarming. And this alarm may lead to action by the government. I don’t remember the last time the Taliban marched with their kids with guns in their hands. The Shias should be considered a greater threat to the saftey of Pakistan, our condition will not improve until we are.
