Salam Alykum everyone from all faiths,
To take stress off of all of this politics and religious tension I would like to ask you all what was your favorite country to visit in life (not to live in) but it could also be your homeland etc.
I'm originally from Iraq (but I dont live there anymore) but I've visited Syria and Kuwait along the way. As a child I really enjoyed Syria (before the war) because of how industrialized and safe it was. It was also really clean for a middle eastern country which surprised me. As a Roman history geek the sites we visited were also amazing and the food was cheap and spectacular. It was what I could wish Iraq to become but now ironically it looks like Iraq but remember we carried money from a western country and we were tourists so I cant say how it was for a citizen but it looked good I'd say. Kuwait was boring, flat desert so no sites to see, the food wasn't too special and on top of that it was very expensive. But strangely it had a special charm to it that I couldn't explain, I guess I forced my self to like it after staying for 2 and a half weeks lol.
So what is your favorite nation to visit and give good reasons remember it could be your homeland
Salam
