  1. I was wondering what happens at midnight because there are so many things that refer to midnight they say people get more creative after midnight we have the midnight prayer and some more things I can't think of off the top of my head. Is there any Qur'an or hadith of Ahlul Bayt that talk about what happens at midnight?
  2. Alsalam alaykom brothers and sisters, Ramadhan kareem to you all. May Allah shower your path with light and knowledge. May this month be an enlightening celebration to all of us. I just wanted to share with you an app that I made which includes the whole quran, supplications for each day, supplications and doings of laylat alkader and other useful information. Though the application is only in Arabic and it is free of cost and free of ads. Here is the link for those who want to download it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.laylatalkader I hope you find it useful. Share it with family and friends and please don't forget me in your prayers. Your brother Jaffer Alfahdawi.
  3. Hi, I Was bored and I thought to ask what do you guys do on Saturdays? I usually watch a good movie, or read, or try to fix something, or sometimes pray throughout the night.
  4. As Salam Alaykoum Wa Rahmatoulahi Wa Barakatuh, I have always wondered... Dua Kumayl should be recited on Thursday Nights... That being said, knowing that in the Hijri calendar, a day always begins with the night at Maghrib time and then goes on to the day part... as supposed to a day in the Gregorian calendar which goes from midnight to midnight. My question is: Shouldn't we recite Dua Kumayl on Wednesdays after Maghrib time (Gregorian time), because if we recite it on Thursday Nights (Gregorian time), aren't we already Friday night (Hijri time)? Hopefully my question isn't too confusing lol! JazakAllah Khairan for your answers!
  5. (bismillah) (salam) DU-A’A AL TAWASSUL Shaykh Tusi says, in his book Misbah, that Imam Hassan bin Ali Al Askari (as) wrote this dua’a for Abu Muhammad who requested him to teach him the proper way of reciting salawat. Allama Majlisi has mentioned this dua’a on the authority of Ibn babawayh who confidently says that there is no difficulty or problem that this dua’a does not solve. The merciful Allah is beseeched in the name of and for the sake of the Holy Prophet (saw) and his Ahl ul Bayt (as) It is known as “quick-fulfillment-of-all-legitimate-desires” dua’a.
  6. Salam Alayakom! Is it a sin to play videogames on the night/day of lay latul qadr or are people just making stuff up? somebody help, because I am in a really boring country (Canada (not my home)) and I wanted to play Black OPS with my cousin in germany, but his father says that it is a sin to do so.... Wassalam! PLEASE..... SOMEBODY!?
