  2. Nigerian state bans main Shia group led by Zakzaky Back in April, UK-based rights group Amnesty International published evidence revealing how the Nigerian military BURNED PEOPLE ALIVE, razed buildings and secretly dumped victims’ bodies in mass graves in the December 2015 deadly assaults. “The true horror of what happened over those two days in Zaria is only now coming to light. Bodies were left littered in the streets and piled outside the mortuary. Some of the injured were burned alive,” said Netsanet Belay, Amnesty International’s Research and Advocacy Director for Africa. http://presstv.com/Detail/2016/10/08/488114/Nigeria-Kaduna-IMN-Ibrahim-Zakzaky

  5. thewallwillfall Menu Skip to content ZakZaky Nigeria: The Hidden Genocide 1 Reply 15th December 2015 On December 11th at the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine Conference, we said goodbye to Hamad ZakZaky son of Sheikh Ebrahim ZakZaky, one of the most inspirational faith leaders on the sub Saharan continent and dedicated opponent of the illegal state of Israel and standard bearer of freedom for Palestine. On December 12th we were shocked to hear of Hamad’s death, murdered by pro Zionist Nigerian government forces: I just got unconfirmed messages about the martyrdom of Hammad Ibrahim ‪#‎Zakizaki‬son of ‪#‎SheikhIbrahimZakizaki‬ whom I met in ‪#‎Beirut‬ during the coference of‪#‎ReturntoPalestine‬. May Allah protect him if he is alive and may Allah consider him among the followers of Imam Hussain A.S if he has been martyred by ‪#‎Zionist‬ agents in Nigerian Army. الله اكبر ولله الحمد ~ Sarbaz Roohulla Rezvi As the story unfolded, we heard of the horrific events. “TROUBLE could be brewing between the state and the Shiite sect Islamic Movement of Nigeria after it emerged that the wife and son of its leader Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky were killed by the Nigerian Army over the weekend. At least 20 members of the sect were shot dead in Zaria in a clash with the Nigerian Army, who claimed they planned to assassinate the chief of army staff Lt General Tukur Buratai. It has now emerged that Sheikh Zakzaky’s wife Zeenat and his son Aliyu were also shot later in the evening, while the leader himself has been arrested.” – See more at: http://www.nigerianwatch.com/news/8389-army-kills-shiite-leader-sheikh-zakzakys-wife-and-son-as-they-arrest-him-in-zaria#sthash.b0eiKQ6W.dpuf Maha Tannous: “Brother Nakafi I have just seen this message on a friends FB. Dear friends a message from #HarunEbnawi A member of our forum is at present with Sheikh #Zakzaky at a military hospital where they are detaining him. Whenever he is through we will have full information on the health of the Sheikh. The Sheikh was shot four times in his hands & he is undergoing treatment. The campaign should continue. We still do not have the actual casualty figure of those martyred but it is in hundreds. They [Nigerian Govt forces] might attempt to cover it.” ZakZaky Sheikh Ebrahim ZakZaky during his “arrest” ELEVEN REASONS WHY SHEIKH EBRAHIM ZAKZAKY HAS BEEN TARGETED BY THE ZIONIST SYMPATHIZING NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT. 1. He opposes Boko Haram and knows that the Nigerian Government [backed by US & Israel alliance] is behind their creation. 2. He opposes the illegal state of Israel. 3. He carries out the biggest Yawm Al Quds to support Palestine. 4. He opposes US hegemony and interventionism 5. He lives a simple life and cannot be corrupted. 6. He is universally loved and respected in Nigeria, by Christian, Shia & Sunni alike. 7. His movement is ideological and not militarily, economically or politically motivated 8. His following is deep rooted throughout Nigeria and now has a strong influence in many African countries. 9. The Nigerian government had already murdered 3 of his sons during a pro Palestine, Al Quds rally in 2014 10. On December 12th 2015 the Nigerian Govt massacred hundreds of his followers. They killed his young son Hamad ZakZaky. They wounded his wife Zeenat. They murdered his deputy. They shot the Sheikh 4 times in his hands and arrested him. 11. “He had a list of names of the contractors used to carry out other massacres blamed on Boko Haram.” “We know the names of the contractors and those contracted to commit the massacre, their identity is not hidden from us. Therefore we cannot be cowed by an imaginary Boko Haram tale, let them tell it to the fools and ignorant. They should know that they are dealing with those with foresight, wisdom and intelligence, and above all with the real religion”. sheikh Sheikh Ebrahim ZakZaky talking about the recent bomb attack on Arba’een symbolic trek in Kano in which over 24 people died and many more injured. Article here. “It is no longer unknown to the general public the brutal massacre meted out on the members of the Islamic movement and its leader Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky (H) since Saturday till this present time. Numerous members whose number no one can ascertain were killed at Hussainiyya Baqiyyatullah, the residence of the Sheikh and the Darur Rahma all in Zaria. Our centers destroyed and set alight, burnt to ashes including the residence of the Sheikh Zakzaky (H). In the ruthless attack, one of the our most eminent clerics and leader of the Kano center and a well respected elder in the movement Sheikh Muhammad Mahmoud Turi and Dr Mustapha Sa’id were all martyred together with many other scholars. In this blood bath and barbaric Nigerian army slaughter, women and children were not spared. We are hearing that the army has entered the residence of the leader Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky they shot him and arrested him alive. Our call and words to the government of Nigeria and all concerned is that, the life and the health of our leader must be secured. Everybody should know that the peace in Nigeria centered on Sheikh Zakzaky, he is the only scholar that is generally recognised for his efforts to unite various groups and religions towards understanding one another in west African sub- region, hence, promotion of peace in Nigeria. The fate of this nation is unknown if anything should happen to our leader Sayyid Ibrahim Zakzaky.” ~ Nakafi Sarawy Hamad with Sheikh Sheikh Ebrahim ZakZaky with son, Hamad. Catherine Shakdam writes for the American Herald Tribune ~ “If mainstream media have long decried radicals’ acts of terror on their soil, rooting their bigot and often xenophobic rhetoric on this rationale of terror Western powers have carried as their own political grail, few words have ever been spared to depict the horrors Wahhabi hate-preachers have perpetuated against local communities in Africa, Asia and the Middle East – those others whose fate seem to matter little to a Western audience. And while of course the Black Flag Army and its disciples have indeed declared war on all faiths, religious denominations and spirituality, in the name of its imperious and unforgiving truth they claim to be absolute and inherently reactionary, it is Muslims more than most who continue to suffer under their blades. It is those Muslims whose faith remains rooted in Islam’s pluralism and tradition of tolerance, compassion, and mercy who stand today to be eradicated by this nefarious plague which imagined itself Islamic, while preaching infinite hatred. From the shores of Africa to Asia’ plains Shia Muslims have been earmarked for annihilation. Everything which is Wahhabism, this devolution born from the mind of an 18th century pseudo-scholar: Mohammad ibn Abdel Wahhab, can actually be summarized in its sadistic hatred of Shia Islam, the very faith which mapped itself on Islam’s Prophets and Imams, the very faith which has positioned itself against all and every form of fundamentalism. If not for Western powers’ desire to demonize Iran leadership, if not for a political narrative which requires Iran’s servitude and humiliation, heads of state would have recognized that their best bets against terror lie still with Shia Islam. But this logic has been suppressed in favour of a grand alliance with Turkey and Saudi Arabia, those very powers we know now have played radicalism to pursue very hegemonic agendas across Africa and Asia. Shielded by Gulf monarchies’ wealth, protected by regimes whose political myopia made them blind to the real enemy hiding among their midst, Addel Wahhab’s armies have returned: stronger and better organized. And if Wahhabis’ massacres of old in the cities of Karbala (Iraq) and Medina (Saudi Arabia) at the turn of the 19th century are anything to go by, the world stands to witness a monstrous genocide. Back then it was the infamous Ekhwan army which sowed destruction and carnage where its men went. Under ISIL banner, names might have changed but the agenda remains. In plain sight, and without so much of a murmur from the international community, communities in Africa stand in the line of a barbaric fire. Nigeria today has fallen to the darkness of fascism, faced with a terror which calls itself righteous, when in truth it rises against God himself. Away from the spotlight, Nigeria Shias have lived in fear, persecuted by those officials who continue to abide by Riyadh’s agenda in return for financial patronage. Last Saturday, Nigeria soldiers raided the home of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, one the country’s most prominent Shia clerics, in Zaria. Where such actions might have been officially rationalized by officials’ allegations that Shias pose a threat to national security, it is really the community’s opposition to Boko Haram and military officials’ ties with radicals which prompted such a sectarian witch-hunt Sheikh Ibraheem Al-Zakzaky (el-Zakzaky) is the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria. His movement has been highly critical of political corruption, Boko Haram and the relationship it has with facets of the Nigerian army. The movement itself is heavily involved in educational and interfaith social programmes across Nigeria. It is important to note that Sheikh Al-Zakzaky’s life work has been devoted to interfaith harmony. Through his actions and under his care Christian communities in Nigeria have been protected from the rage of Boko Haram; under his watch and from his pulpit he has fervently defended Nigerians’ right to freedom of religion. Today this stand for peace cost him his wife and his son … maybe soon his life. According to Haroon Bainavi, Nigerian political activist, Sheikh Zakzaky was shot and wounded during the attacks.”We don’t know where he is or where they took him,” he told local press. Activists and local residents confirmed that a large number of soldiers torched and destroyed several parts of Al-Zakzaky’s house before arresting him this Sunday. Witnesses said that several people were killed or injured when the Nigerian government forces opened fire on local residents who were attempting to protect the cleric with their bodies. But the military did not have its fill of blood just yet. On Sunday a mourning procession became target practice for over-zealous soldiers – 30 unarmed civilians were killed and countless more were injured. One man, Bukhari Muhammed Bello Jega took to social media to alert the world to the crimes taking place in his hometown. Before he was slain, alongside his wife and baby daughter, Bukhari was able to relay the horrors Shias are witnessing on a regular basis – preyed upon by a regime which seeks to eradicate all people of faith: whether Shia Muslims or Christians, for they have dared cry tolerance over hate. On Saturday, Bukhari writes: “It is carnage here in Zaria … soldiers are killing civilians in Gyellesu area and the home of our revered leader…. Sheikh Ibraheeem Zakzaky…. They destroyed all the shops along the road leading to the house and several bodies of civilians are just piling up here… Do we have human beings in government? Are Nigerian soldiers above the law? Do those in authority lack the will or power to stop those vampires?” On Sunday his plight turned into a prayer for his fallen brethren: “Disappointment and confusion in the camp of Nigerian soldiers as they are about to face the biggest shame of their lives… they have done a lot of killing and they have injured scores of brothers and sisters, yet, we remain peaceful. Shame and defeat is eminent, as morning get closer…. the people will continue from where we stopped… they lost the support and sympathy of the people …. The REAL BOKO HARAM is now on the loose bombing building and killing innocent civilians ….. Indeed the command centre has just moved to Zaria … “We are praying to God to give us courage, bravery, faith and patience , we pray not to change no matter the hardship and tension…” On Monday Bukhari’s voice was made silent, still on his lips a call for peace and tolerance. This injustice has gone unreported – worse still it has gone ignored, for mainstream media cares not for men of peace and conviction. Mainstream media only abide by the rules of unfettered capitalism, this quiet evil which pushed Western capitals to court the very evil which yearns to destroy them all – Wahhabism. The real enemy is in plain sight, if only you chose to see.” ~ The genocide mainstream media ignore – When silence becomes terrorism In the immortal words of the warrior Sheikh Ebrahim ZakZaky ~ “Reason with this: Who is carrying out senseless killings in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Lebanon? They are the same people carrying out attacks here, and we know them. We cannot be cowed”.
  6. Suspected Islamist extremists have abducted about 100 female pupils from a school in north-east Nigeria, but some later escaped from the back of an open truck, officials say. The girls were abducted after midnight from a school in Chibok, on the edge of the Sambisa Forest, an insurgent hideout, said the Borno state police commissioner Tanko Lawan. Gunmen killed a soldier and police officer guarding the school, then took off with at least 100 students, a state security service official said. A local government official said he did not know how many of the girls had escaped but that many had walked through the bushes and back to Chibok. The girls were piled into the back of an open truck and, as it was travelling, some grabbed at low-hanging branches to swing off while others jumped off the slow-moving vehicle, he said. The two officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to give information to reporters. All schools in Borno state were closed three weeks ago because of an increasing number of attacks by militants who have killed hundreds of students in the past year. But the young women – aged between 16 and 18 – were recalled to take their final exams, the local government official said. Islamist extremists have been abducting girls to use as cooks and sex slaves. Insurgents from the Boko Haram terrorist network are blamed for attacks that have killed more than 1,500 people this year alone. The group – whose name means "western education is forbidden" – has targeted schools, mosques, churches, villages and agricultural centres in increasingly indiscriminate attacks. They have also made daring raids on military barracks and bases. The extremists are also accused of Monday morning's explosion at a busy bus station in Nigeria's capital that killed at least 75 people and wounded 141. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/apr/15/schoolgirls-kidnapped-suspected-islamists-nigeria
  7. Current Global Islamic Awakening is an Offshoot of the Islamic Revolution in Iran- Prof Yahaya By D. Nalado- In his discourse on the current global Islamic awakening, the festschrift Professor of Bayero University traced its roots to the revolution of Imam Husain (as) at Karbala. Imam (as) rejected, out rightly, deception and injustice at the expense of his pure blood. Although majority of Muslims continued to be in deep slumber, those that hold fast to the teachings of Ahlul Bayt, AS (the progeny of the Prophet, SAWA), were awake. He emphasized the fact that the Islamic revolution in Iran was the success of the blood over the sword. It was brought about as a result of popular mass uprising under revered leadership but not due to an armed struggle. The popular slogan ‘Allahu Akbar’ (Allah is the greatest) which featured in that revolution is also the slogan chanted by the teeming youth in the current awakening. For the avoidance of doubt, the speaker mentioned the lessons to be derived from these current uprisings. An attempt is made below to summarize these important lessons: • It is now a general belief that Muslims can no longer be crushed or overcome • Muslims believe that one will never lose anything by holding on fast to Islam. • The Muslims generally believe that Islam is God’s favour and blessings upon them. • Islam is superior. Governance should be guided by its teaching and not vice versa. • Those who are in deep slumber up to now need to become awakened. • The Slogan ‘Allahu Akbar’ has become the rallying point in all the uprisings. • Revolution can be achieved without resorting to armed struggle • The Uprising has spread to Europe and America. • The current uprising is an offshoot of the revolution in Iran Professor Yahaya also called on Muslims to unite. He said that Muslims should do away with fear and materialism in order to achieve unity. In his usual remarks after such presentations, Sayyeed Zakzaky (H) expressed appreciation to the speaker for the immense contribution. He re-iterated the fact that in Nigeria Islam is the only way out. Malam (H) raised the issue of the evil plots by the enemies of Islam in order to derail the progression of the Islamic Movement in this country. He noted that they created Shi’ah without struggle. Now, they have created a faceless Boko Haram. Nothing is known about the group be it address, real and not imaginary personalities involved, a center or any other identity. Everyone could vividly see the treachery associated with the bombings and killings in Kano. The flag of‘Lailaha Illallah’was hoisted at one of the scenes after the attacks in Kano. Who put the flag? Was it the Boko Haram who had all the time to do so after the rather swift bombings? It can’t be. The enemies put the flag in order to blame and ridicule Islam. It is clear that all these mad atrocities are done to ultimately attack the Movement, its leadership and members. Currently there is a battalion of soldiers stationed near the Federal College of Education (FCE Zaria) in our midst. (Note that the Gyallesu residence of Sayyeed Zakzaky (H) is closely neighboring this place). All the evil plans to attack the Islamic Movement shall fail. The target is Nigeria for it is seen as a superpower in Africa from which others copy. Malam concluded with the hope that when the current uprising wave comes across Nigeria it would be stabilized with a sound ideology (Islam) and (muttaqiy) Leadership. Conspirators Against Islam and Muslims are Afraid of Maulid -Sayyeed Zakzaky (H) made some remarks after the presentations by Prof AbdulFatah and Dr. Mua'zu. On the issue of the importance of unity discussed in the afternoon lecture by Professor Abdulfatah, Malam (H) explained that unity does not mean that one abandons his school of thought to another. Again it does not mean that all people must have one school. Unity means coming together closer so as to understand each other, then establish a common front to achieve a goal. He noted that despite the fact that Yahoud and Nasara do not have anything in common, they form a common front against Islam and Muslims. Muslims on the other hand, who have everything in common, stay disunited. This is the root cause of our calamities. ‘And (as for) those who disbelieve, some of them are the guardians of others; if you will not do it, there will be in the land persecution and great mischief.’ (Qur’an) Malam (H) re-emphasized the fact that Islam is one indivisible entity right from Prophet Adam (as) up to the last Messenger. All Muslims hold unto Prophet Muhammad (S) and the Qur’an, which is being safeguarded by Allah (T). Divisions are as a result of selfishness, arrogance and ignorance. Commenting on the significance of Maulud as discussed by Dr Mu’azu, Sayyeed (H) noted that those people who used to cast aspersions on Maulud kept mute these days. They have been silenced, probably, since their shallow defeatist approach could not match the stark realities. One vital aspect of Maulud is that it serves as a platform for unity among Muslims. Thus the enemies of Islam and Muslims are afraid of Maulud. Sayyeed (H) had once asserted and still re-affirms that Islam would be established in this country through Maulud. He therefore challenged the faceless ‘bomb throwers’ to attempt their dastardly actions during Maulud procession which is coming in the next two days. He stressed that no curfew would deter the Movement from observing Maulud. Malam (H) explained the recent pathetic bombing of 1 div Nigerian Military Command headquarters, Kaduna which were alleged to be carried out by a ‘suicide bomber’. Eye witnesses testified that it was security personnel, who went into the premises, threw explosives and vanished quickly. Immediately, the premises were then sealed and some military wares were whisked away to unknown destination. May be they were transferred to Portharcourt or Yenagoa! If they want to transfer any ware do they have to ridicule Islam and Muslims? Before closing, gifts were presented. After the prayer, people settled for their respective destinations. Boko Haram attrocity is a conspiracy against Islamic resurgence in Nigeria- Sayyed Zakzaky By Ibrahim Usman Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sayyed Ibraheem Yaquoub Zakzaky says, the current wave of attacks in the name of Boko Harma is a delibrate agenda to suppress Islamic resurgence in Nigeria, with special focus on the Islamic Movement in Nigeria. He made the statemen at the opening of Unity Week series of lectures commemorating the Maulud period, at the Baqiyyatullah Husainiyyah, Zaria. Sayyed Zakzaky said, a highly profile security report has clearly indicated the fear and apprehension of the so-called super powers on the current agitation for Islamic revival in Nigeria, that the country will eventually become Islamic, and in particular Shi’a Islam. According to him, there is a growing fear by the western world that Nigeria as a regional power, if allowed to embarce Islam as a doctrine, will have multiplier effect on the whole African continent. “This is why they are now trying to destablize the country in the name of Boko Haram, he added. He also stated that, a Nigerian security official has sent a message informing him that, all the waves of attacks in the name of Boko Haram currently going on, is a smoke screen and diversionary tactics targetting the Islamic Movement in Nigeria. Zakzaky further revealed that, during the post election violence, a special security squad was mobilized and stationed in Federal College of Education Zaria, Gyellesu area where he resides, awaiting orders to emabark on special assignment that was not outlined and fully explained to the squad. He wondered how a faceless group without a known school structure, physical medium of communication like newspapers, website, physical membership and all attributes of a group can out of the blues start planting bombs unhindered with the aim of establishing Islam. “This is ridiculing Islam and Muslims”, said Zakzaky. Sayyed Zakzaky said the Kano bombings has clearly let the cat out of the bag, when eye witness accounts indicted security forces in the covert operation. “More so, the Nigeian president has openly declared that his cabinet and security system is filled to brim with Boko Harma membership. What more do you need to read the writing on the wall?” He expressed concern on how innocent lives are being wasted in cold blood inorder to actualize a sinister motive, and blaming it on Islam and Muslims.
