  1. Salam, A while back, I was in H&M and saw a 'top' (literally) that really ticked me off on so many levels. I have never purchased anything from them since. I would like your thoughts on this and perhaps I'm keen to hear what the females have to say as the clothing and message is for women. How do you feel about the fallacy of empowering women through moral regression? How can one counter it? Especially when it's directed at the younger generations.
  2. http://quran.al-islam.org/ ***** It does not say Mercy Only for Muslims, or Believers. What is your plan to introduce the Mercy to the Worlds in today's Language ...Let me give you a hint, ethical, moral,-- social & political sciences departments in Universities around the world will have to revise their curriculum. unUnited (Tribes) Nations will revise its charter and replace it. Only if, Muslims can articulate and introduce the real Muhammad Al- Mustafa (peace be upon him and his pure progeny). Your Thoughts?
  3. The Economic Human. It is no longer in style to be a Moral, Ethical Human. Corporate mentality has taken over the human life. They see everything thru this framework.( Personal, Social, Political=Religion) Individual achievements, short term plan/success is promoted, blending in is desired and is essential for success. Personal and Religious events are planned with corporate look and feel. More like a annual investors conference. Any thoughts?
  4. Story and lesson : In a day over history , there was a clothes merchant lived with his wife and two children, he had a beautiful hen laid an egg every day but it wasn’t an ordinary egg it was golden egg, so he was lived a very good livelihood, but he wasn’t satisfied about that he wanted to be rich in one step, so he thought about that then he decided to collect all the eggs which his hen had, he brought the knife and kill it but he didn’t find anything, his life was going on smoothly with one egg per day but now him himself made his life miserable, the outcome of his greed was that he become poorer and poorer day by day. What is the lessons that this story teach?.
  5. Salam Alaikom. What is Religion? We must know about religion, what it is, to develop to know our position to it. How can we practice Islam that is a religion-not any religion but religion to the whole creation beyond derby -, without knowing about what religion is. Sure all are good and excellent followers of Islam, but Islam is a religion so what is religion again! What specific thoughts occur in you, please let us know. If it is not cool to mention I, AGAIN I AM, than maybe we should use 'you'- hmm how logical is this sentence -. Our scholars say religion has three parts-or 3 whatever - that is: Ahklaq, Aqaed and fiqh- respectively Ethic-ethical morality, belief and jurisprudence-Islamic law -. If any religion misses one of these parts, that religion is defected, handicap,or either sick but can we say it is no religion! Why Islam is the last holy religion to humanity? You have probably confronted the above question in your life! In this topic following questions should be dealt with: What is religion? What is a defected religion? If we accept the concept of religion, than why should we accept Islamic religion and not any other Ibrahimic religion; what answer is needed here? Why Islam the final stage, what can we say about the development of religion because we read in the holy Quran, some Prophets Peace upon Them said that we are muslim! Hope this topic is successful Allah will, and this 'riter a excellent host to guests participating in this topic. Please leave your view and thoughts, this servant will be frugal in using posts to develop text in this regard.
  6. (salam) 1. This is incident of Khawaja Naseer ud Din Tusi and is famous one. Once he went to a village and as it was late night, he asked one of the villager to give him space to spend night there. The villager asked him to sleep in the room. Khawaja Naseer ud Din told him that it is very hot inside, it is better to sleep outside. The villager said "No, it will rain here tonight". Khawaja Naseer Ud Din was an astrologist therefore, he said I am not seeing any signs of rain therefore, I shall sleep outside. Khawaja Naseer ud Din slept out side but it rained at night. Khawaja Naseer Ud Din was surprised and asked the villager how did not know that it will rain today? The villager said that "My dog remains outside but I have noticed whenever, my dog sleeps inside the room then it rains". So dogs can know the happening of certain events of future. This is the quality given to animals....
  7. Salam 'Alaikum Allow me to introduce this page "Sisters In Islam" This page aims to provide the true teaching of Ahlulbayt regarding women issues The speeches of Imam Ali Khamenei, Imam Khomeini regarding women issues The writing of Islamic scholars regarding women issues, the concept of hijab, the importance of modesty etc And inshaallah with all this knowledge and understanding that we may gain from this page, hopefully we can combat all the misconception, superstitious thought, regarding women issues. I have met many who claim to be a Muslim but their level of understanding regarding this issue is very low. As a consequence we tend to suppress/oppress those who are weak without we realize it. And we tend to easily be influenced by the Western perspective on women issues. There are also some pages that presenting the women issue in a very distorted way in the name of Islam. So inshaallah we hope this new page will help to overcome the distorted image of Islam presented by such pages. Therefore my dear brothers and sisters, Kindly help us to promote this page, invite your friends to follow this page, and if any of you have anything beneficial to be shared on this page, please feel free to inform us https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sisters-In-Islam/385767358246015 May Allah bless you all With the prayer of success, FB/Sisters In Islam
  8. (bismillah) Today I had a debate with a Christian brother and we concluded with this big question. He argued that the concept of good and evil is defined only for the religion itself. Bad and evil, moral and immoral are divine creations only in the context of the religion itself. However, it ceases to exist outside that context. In other words, It is impossible to apply any religion's concepts universally. Is the concept of good defined within a religion's own domain only? Can anyone answer this question? thanks in advance If you need further elaboration please ask. (wasalam)
