Salaam all. A good friend of mine has a wife who confessed to having kissed a lesbian couple with passion which included lustful bodily contact as well as lustful gazes on each others' bodies. Of course he is devastated, but he was curious about what is the legal ruling on something like this, but didn't feel well enough to ask on a forum on his own so he asked me to look for some answers. Does this come under adultery? Yes or no? If yes, why and if no then why not? If no then what does this come under and legally what is the punishment (given the conditions are fulfilled such as for adultery which requires 4 confessions on separate occasions) Apart from that, although he didn't ask this, I wanted to ask so I can advise him: What should he do now? He is obviously depressed and frustrated with anger but also said he loved her, but feels very betrayed and broken. She confessed because she saw a bad dream reminding her of what she did so she woke up crying and later confessed to him about her actions. What should he do? Salaam, I hope everyone is keeping well and healthy amidst COVID. As stated in the title, this is going to be a personal post. I’m currently in my 20’s/female, when I was younger I was groomed by a female authoritative figure. I come from an abusive household, (my father), I’m still vulnerable not sure if that’s relevant. She is also a Shia too. I never understood what it was or meant but all I knew was I felt it deep in my heart I was meant to be with her. It left a massive scar in my heart and I think I’m unable to ever understand why it even happened but alhamdillah, it could’ve been much worse. I even prayed to get over the heart break and find someone new or at peace. Here comes the part none of you will like, I’ve got a girlfriend of almost a year now. She’s been so patient with everything. She’s so strong hanging on whilst I make the choice. Fully take her out of my life for my sake in the next life or risk it all, given how merciful Allah is. Im currently keeping back on track with prayers and trying to closer myself to God inshAllah. I know this sounds so stupid, but I just want to know are my prayers valid at all whilst being with a girl or am I just being a bad person while continuing to pray ? I don’t understand why I can’t have both and it’s really hurting me. I’m not carrying out any sexual acts with her or myself. Ive recently just had a major freak out about how The End will come, like is it painful ? What will it look like, will the Blast of the trumpet deafen me ? I’m just so scared about dying and ending up in Hell. I understand Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) is so so so merciful! This is why i’m so confused about being with a girl whilst I continue to pray. I am aware of homosexuality being haram in every religion. Thank you for reading my dilemma, any advice is always useful. Please don’t hate on me, I’m crying myself to sleep every night and making dua that things will work out for the best. So I clicked a link one one of these topics to *******.org and started browsing. Then, I came across a very very Bizarre Hadith! Not only is this not possible, but Surely Amiral Momineen (as) should have known this, right? Is this site genuine? Am I misreading this hadith? Can anyone help me understand it? 3 – Chapter on the ruling of when the man has sexual intercourse with his wife, and she (then) commits tribadism with a virgin and she (the virgin) becomes pregnant [ 34474 ] 1 ـ محمد بن يعقوب ، عن عدة من أصحابنا ، عن أحمد بن محمد بن خالد ، عن عمرو بن عثمان ، وعن أبيه جميعا ، عن هارون بن الجهم ، عن محمد بن مسلم ، قال : سمعت أبا جعفر وأبا عبدالله ( عليهما السلام ) يقولان : بينما الحسن بن علي في مجلس أمير المؤمنين ( عليه السلام ) إذ أقبل قوم فقالوا : يا أبا محمد أردنا أمير المؤمنين ، قال : وما حاجتكم ؟ قالوا : أردنا أن نسأله عن مسألة ، قال : وما هي تخبرونا بها ؟ قالوا : امرأة جامعها زوجها ، فلما قام عنها قامت بحموتها فوقعت على جارية بكر فساحقتها فوقعت النطفة فيها فحملت ، فما تقول في هذا ؟ فقال الحسن : معضلة وأبوالحسن لها ، وأقول فان أصبت فمن الله ومن أمير المؤمنين ، وإن أخطأت فمن نفسي ، فأرجو أن لا اخطىء إن شاء الله : يعمد إلى المرأة فيؤخذ منها مهر الجارية البكر في أول وهلة ، لأن الولد لا يخرج منها حتى تشق فتذهب عذرتها ، ثم ترجم المرأة لأنها محصنة ، وينتظر بالجارية حتى تضع ما في بطنها ويرد الولد إلى أبيه صاحب النطفة ، ثم تجلد الجارية الحد ، قال : فانصرف القوم من عند الحسن ( عليه السلام ) فلقوا أمير المؤمنين ( عليه السلام ) قال : ما قلتم لأبي محمّد ؟ وما قال لكم ؟ فأخبروه ، فقال : لو أنني المسؤول ماكان عندي فيها أكثر مما قال ابني . 1 – Muhammad b. Ya`qub from a number of our companions from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Khalid from `Amr b. `Uthman and from his father, together, from Harun b. al-Jahm from Muhammad b. Muslim. He said: I heard Abu Ja`far and Abu `Abdillah عليهما السلام saying: While al-Hasan b. `Ali was in the gathering of Amir al-Mu’mineen عليه السلام a group approached and said: O Abu Muhammad, we want Amir al-Mu’mineen. He said: And what is your need? They said: We want to ask him about an issue. He said: And what is it? Inform us of it. They said: A man had intercourse with his wife, and when he got up from her, she got up with her heat (i.e. in a state of excitement) and fell upon a virgin girl and had tribadism with her, so the sperm entered into her and she became pregnant. So what do you say regarding this? So al-Hasan said: A conundrum! And Abu ‘l-Hasan is (the one) for it (i.e. providing the solution to the issue). And I say that if I hit the mark, then it is from Allah and from Amir al-Mu’mineen. And if I err, then it is from myself. So I hope that I err not, إن شاء الله : The woman is proceeded to and the mahr of the virgin girl is taken from her right away, for the child does not come out from her until she (i.e. her hymen) is split and her virginity goes. Then, the woman is stoned because she was a muhsana (see definition of ihsan above). And one waits with the girl until she delivers what is in her stomach, and the child is returned to his father, the owner of the sperm. Then the girl is lashed with the hadd. He said: So the group departed from al-Hasan عليه السلام and they met Amir al-Mu’mineen عليه السلام. He said: What did you say to Abu Muhammad, and what did he say to you? So they informed him, and he said: Had I been the one asked there would not have been with me more than what my son said.
