Salam Aleykum, I have seen many reverts many times asking for an online version of the holy Quran. Here is a good site with an online Quran, there are different reciters and you can follow the english translation as it highlights the ayah being recited. InshaAllah it will be of use, all credit goes to our honored sister @Sumayyeh for supplying the link. http://tanzil.net/#trans/en.sahih/1:1 Fi amanillah.

All translations are imperfect. The Koran contains some translations. Therefore, the Koran is imperfect. For example... But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." (Koran 5:72 AYA) Do you think Christ spoke Arabic or that perfect translations exist? For example, the word "Yisrael" has three meanings in Hebrew and thus, there will need to be the same number of meanings in Arabic for Allah to perfectly translate this word. And not to mention its etymology. The word "Yisrael" means "prince of God" in Hebrew but what does that word mean in Arabic? I would like to see which of the two premises above you can refute.
salamu3alykum everyone i came across this list that i though would be nice to share with everyone..it mentions the benefits of recitation of Koran for each specific surah and even some specific ayaht, and seriously some of the benefits are mind blowing check it out and save it so when ever you have a certain surah in mind or what ever you can refer back to it and see what kind of rewards are gained from reciting... http://www.duas.org/surabenefit.htm and this is also a link to a list of benefits to some duas that can be read, these list are really good i highly suggest everyone saves them.. http://www.duas.org/articles/duaben.htm
