Salam everyone, I am being forced against my will, coerced, threatened, pressurised and now finally blackmailed into buying a very cute, cuddly but outrageously expensive, (according to my standards) white kitten. I have tried to hold up as long as I could but I am tired of the daily bugging. I don't want animals inside the house because I want to keep the whole house clean and I don't want anyone stepping with their dirty little paws into my namaz area!!! Nor do I enjoy four legged creatures suddenly jumping up on me from nowhere. Help friends! Tell me the meanest parental tactics you can know of to save myself from the furry little calamity about to invade my peaceful life.
Assalamu alaykum, My little kitten just broke her leg and we took her to the vet. The vet said it will be a few hundred dollars to fix it depending on how bad it is. It was the most terrible thing to see, a kitten breaking it's leg in front of me. And trust me, I care for animals as we should, but I have to ask: Is it going a little too far to spend so much money on an animal when there are so many starving and suffering children in the world. It feels wrong to spend the money, but it feels just as bad to let it stay broken. I just wanted an Islamic point of view. Jazakum Allah khair for any help.
