  1. Wa salam alaikum! (did I spell that right?) I have a question about which I would love to hear a Muslim perspective. It regards Jesus Christ, a favorite for all of us. In my conversations with Muslims, many say things like "Jesus never claimed to be God." So I would like to know what you (the Muslims on here) would say about this passage from John chapter 8: 54 Jesus answered, “If I want glory for myself, it doesn’t count. But it is my Father who will glorify me. You say, ‘He is our God,’ 55 but you don’t even know him. I know him. If I said otherwise, I would be as great a liar as you! But I do know him and obey him. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced as he looked forward to my coming. He saw it and was glad.” 57 The people said, “You aren’t even fifty years old. How can you say you have seen Abraham?[j]” 58 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I am![k]” 59 At that point they picked up stones to throw at him. But Jesus was hidden from them and left the Temple. [emphasis mine; for full context, check here] In this passage, we see Jesus expressing several important things. God is his father Jesus is older than Abraham Jesus uses the name of God {"I am"} as a description of himself. The Jewish authorities recognized this as a claim to divinity, as evidenced by their grabbing of stones to kill him. God vindicated this claim by hiding Jesus so he could leave the Temple safely. What are your thoughts about this passage?
  2. I highly recommend everybody read Sura Naml with translation and Tafseer. Once you will read Sura Naml, you will definitely be able to make following connections between the God appointed "powerfuls" of the past to the "game changer" of the future, that is, Imam AL Mahdi a-t-f-s. Sura Naml talks about the magnificence of the kingdom of Prophet David and Prophet Suleman aka Solomon a.s. It talks about the super-natural of the mega size Jins in the army of Prophet Suleman. The birds, beasts, and bugs in his domain. How one of his disciple, Asif Barkhia (who was also the son of his sister and his vicegerent) brought the throne in the blink of an eye using some name of Allah swt which Suleman had taught him. It also talks about the Prophet Saleh and how his devious nation was punished. Their main mistake, they were like todays bankers, inherently fraudulent on their businesses. It also talks about the Prophet Lut, and how his nation who was morally devious and filthy, like todays Hollywood, Bollywood, and all other woods and how Allah swt dealt with them. Then immediately the Sura Naml talks about the famous and oft-repeated Ayat of the coming of Imam Al Mahdi and how Allah swt will make HIM the owner and the Khalifa on this world. Sura Naml gives us enough evidence of how Imam Al Mahdi a.s. will neutralize the immense technological advances of the Satanic forces. After reading Sura Naml, I won't be surprised if Imam changes the nature of the "electrons" so if some enemies of humanity want to detonate a nuclear device, it won't go off. Prophet Suleman domain was up to the living, eating, moving creatures of Allah swt, Imam Mahdi a.s. who is the last Hujjah of the Lord of the Universe would have HIS domain extended to all forms of the powers of the Lord, which includes the power of the electronics, of air waves, of microwaves, of laser technologies, of nature of optics, of manipulating the electrons, neutrons, protons, and all others -ons when and where Imam need to carry out the final rule of ADL on this planet earth and beyond. Sura Naml also talks about the method of Prophet Suleman in bringing another powerful but mushrik nation to the Religion of Peace, through logic, science, and show of power projected compassion. Obviously it also sheds light on what Imam is going to do with rebellious and devious ones who won't get convinced by his logic of peace. Based on Sura Naml, notice the domain of Imam Al Mahdi beyond this earth, because Imam's domain will extend to at least where the domain of the Jins ends, and keep in mind that just like humanity has progressed, Jins must have too in their technological advances or techniques. There are so many parallels to count here. Just keep in mind all the hadith you have read multiple times on SC about the coming and establishing of the order of Mahdi (as) and you will be surprised and delighted to read Sura Naml. Another thing, those who claim to be the 'false' successors of the 'Kingdom of David', don't you think they would also be relentlessly pursuing to overpower the domain of beyond humanity such as Jins and other creatures? How much more would humanity have to suffer at the hands of false successors until the Faraj of the Imam?
