as salaam alakim!!! I get a lot of heat from people, I hear a lot of people don't like me! Do my fellow shias hate me? I spoke out against the shia killings in Pakistan 6 years ago now they hid shia facebook and I did nothing to any one, after this mistreatment, I was lost and confused, I know a lot of kafirs hate me, salafis and wahabis hate me, do shia hate me too, did I do something wrong, I feel ignored on the forum, like no one likes me or wants to talk to me anymore!

What is the Shiite standpoint on this issue? And if it's true then aren't ISIS and taliban following religion in it's true form? And why should we expect benevolence from non-muslims while we can't be benevolent to them and their place of worship? 1 – Muslim (969) narrated that Abu’l-Hayaaj al-Asadi said: ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib said to me: “Shall I not send you with the same instructions as the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent me? ‘Do not leave any image without defacing it or any built-up grave without leveling it.’” 2 – Muslim (832) narrated from ‘Urwah ibn ‘Abasah that he said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “With what were you sent?” He said, “I was sent to uphold the ties of kinship, to break the idols, and so that Allaah would be worshipped alone with no partner or associate.” Source : https://islamqa.info/en/20894 Do answer with facts and references rather than mere opinions.

Treatment of Kafirs/Non-believers by Allah
maryamjfr posted a topic in Christianity/Judaism Dialogue
Assalamualaikum everyone, This is my first post on Shiachat so lets see how it goes. Today I spoke to two friends about Islam again. They are both agnostic, one used to be a practising Christian, the other a Buddhist. We talked about religions and Islam and none of us seem to see eye to eye about most of it. What I got stuck on during our discussion is: How are non-believers/kafirs treated in Islam, particularly on Judgement Day? My knowledge is limited but I would like to learn more too about this, as its quite a relevant topic for non-muslims. Personally, I would like to believe that our Lord is omnibenevolent and that non-believers as well as believers of different religions will be judged by Allah according to the good and bad they have done in their lives. I was sent an excerpt from Surah Yunus, 10:4 specifically, saying: those who disbelieved will have a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment for what they used to deny. Now this was a Sahih International translation they found online. So, main question repeated is: how will non-believers and theists from other religions be treated and judged by Allah? Thanks- 17 replies
