Gonna kinda rant so pls forgive me: I had taken an oath to Allah about a week ago that I would not look at/watch haram, something I really struggle with and am trying to stop. I was studying and ended up on Twitter looking at some graph. I started scrolling and waswasa got the better of me and I started to look for haram pics just by scrolling. I saw one haram pic but didn't look directly at it out of fear. I clicked into the replies and kept scrolling and saw a nasty gif for just a second, so I immediately looked away, closed the tab, said na'thu'billah and istighfar. I got up immediately, opened the Quran, and started reading from it where the ayats I read were about rejecting the signs of Allah, being a kafir, and about how in the akhira there will be no safe haven for rejecting Allah. In that moment it dawned on me I had made an oath to Allah to not commit such a sin. How badly have I messed up? Also, is the oath broken since I forgot? Should I pay Kaffarah? Just for extra context, I've been struggling hard with this sin for a while. I stopped watching for a decent time but relapsed recently. I would watch then make istighfar, then would repeat it and make istighfar and tawbah for about a week. I made that oath and stopped for about a week until now. Please, any advice would be really appreciated.

Assalam Alaikum, If i am performing Umrah and i am in the state of Ihram and it rains. Do you know if it is raining and I am traveling by car (covered vehicle) at night in the state of Ihram. Do I need to pay Kaffara of one goat? And can we pay kaffara later or have to pay before removing Irham? For followers of Ayatollah Sistani.

Please read everything. Salam aleikum. When I was 16-17 years old, I was very addicted to masturbation and used to fall for the voice of shaytan and masturbate during Ramadan. In total, there were approximately 25 days where I masturbated during the day while fasting( Age 16-17). today I am 18 years old and I did these 25 days of Qadha in December 2022. But I need to do 5 Days of Qadha because I masturbated this Ramadan too and I will do them soon. So around 30 days total of Qadha that i will have done. but surely I have to pay Kuffarah too? My only option is to Feed 60 poor people per day. 30 x 60=1800 people to feed. I'm 18 years old and I don't have that kind of money, I deeply regret it. what should I do? how am I going to feed 1800 poor people? I got this answer from said sistani but I didn’t understand it. Can someone help me? “ If you consider it probable that at that time you did not know about the concept of being duty-bound, or consider it probable that at that time you were sure eating was permissible, performing qadha is sufficient. ”

Assalamu Alaykum Brothers and Sisters, Hope that you are all having a great Ramadan! I have to make up some days of Ramadans in the past (2019 & 2020). I read that I have to make up these days before the following Ramadan. However, I'm not able to make up these days now. Is it possible that I make up these days at a later time in my life? I'm really looking forward to your answers! Wassalam, T

Its still early in the morning and there is 12 more hours and a half left to fast, but I’m leaving to go to work soon and will be there for most of the day. I already feel faint and because of the physical activity at work, I fear that I will pass out. Is this a valid enough reason to drink some water and break my fast without having to to kaffarah? Can I just fast it qatha?

Salam. My friend and I are debating whether Kaffarah fasting counts in Ramadan. Basically, if a person breaks an oath, and is not able to: free a slave / feed sixty poor / etc. just as Ramadan is arriving, then do his 3 consecutive fasts count? Regardless of Ramadan fasts being wajib/compulsory?

A muslim harmed another muslim leaving colourful bruises and a cut lip on his victim. In order for the man to be forgiven by Allah, his victim must forgive him first, and the man must pay his victim recompense for the damages done to his body. How is such compensation determined? Is the compensation gender specific; meaning do the amounts differ when the victim is a muslimah? What is the proper term for such compensation?
