In the Bible, it states that Palestine was under the rule of King David [Nabi Dawud, peace be upon him] in the 11th century [before Isa, Jesus, peace be upon him] - yes, the same King David who is said to have committed adultery with a woman and executed her husband because of it. Although many historians of old, due to lack of any material, relied upon the Bible for most things surrounding this time period, the information is not historically accurate, because King David was dated to exist about 100 years later to his rule. He was first put into question as to his existence, but when no further evidence found, he was dubbed a myth. Although we Muslims believe he existed, the Bible does a job on distorting history and writing via oral tradition decades after something was said. This puts into question the authenticity of the Bible yet again, despite Dawud (peace be upon him) being one of the great Messengers of Allah that all Abrahamic faiths agree upon. The Philistines did not have a specific religion - if any at all - which is why the Jews tended to look down upon them. The Jews did not eat pig meat and leave their children uncircumcised whereas the Philistines did. However, the Jews did not inhabit their lands prior. The original inhabitants were the Canaanites - followed by the Phoenicians, Syrians, Egyptians, Caucasians, and the Mesopotamians, who later settled in the land of Canaan when majority of their civilization had fallen apart. Some Canaanites were Hebrew, not Jewish, as Judaism and the concept of Jewry began with Moses, according to Biblical chronology. There had been a very small portion of Israelites in this region, but they were not originally from this area. This is shown through demographics and sociological factors of them residing on the outskirts of the area. They were well-known for being destitute. This later changed in the future when an influx of Israelites came in. They, the Canaanites, had formed an alliance with the ancient Egyptians before they had finally taken it in as part of their kingdom (Levant, at the time). When the Israelites started to grow in the land of Palestine, they had split up into two kingdoms - one being Israel and the other being Judah, Israel being the most advanced and growing out of the two. It must be noted that the language of the Philistines had originally been Hebrew but later developed into Aramaic in the 4th century B.C. Moving forward past the Romans and Persians fighting over Palestine, Jesus was born in the land of Galilea, which was the northwest side of Roman Palestine. Jews like to claim that Israel was there prior to Jesus and how their history extends way before the late 1940s, but this is half of the truth. The land of Palestine belonged to the Philistines and destitute Israelites later moved in and had a kingdom within this land that grew years after. Jesus spoke Aramaic, although he understood and spoke some Hebrew. It is similar to how the Anglo-Saxon languages and it's sisters [French, German, Latin, English] can all be understood despite one not being fluent in them based on the similarities. Take for instance someone living in West Germany or Luxembourg - they are likely to understand and speak French, though they would speak German every day as opposed to the aforementioned. Nonetheless, Jesus was born in the land of the Philistines which had been conquered by the Romans at the time. It is argued that Jesus was a Jew - meaning from the tribe of Judah, and by extention, Israel - which is correct. The lineage of Jesus in the Bible stems from Israel [better known as Jacob/Ayyub] to one of his 12 sons, Judah. This, however, has nothing to do with the "nation" or "state" of Israel, as this was thousands of years later. While Jacob was born in Canaan, he never claimed any leadership nor authority there. This was all established by his son Joseph in Egypt, where the family of Joseph thrived and lived happily under him. I do apologize for not putting references, but I wanted to write this as quickly as I can before I forgot. I pray you learned something from this! May Allah increase you in sincerity, guidance, and knowledge - ameen. With that, I now say: Assalamu 'alaykum warahamatullahi wabarakatuhu.

Christmas Mubarak I guess would be the politically correct way for a Muslim to say it. So I’ll wish all my Muslim brothers and sisters, Christmas Mubarak! And to all my Christian neighbours I say, Merry Christmas! I also want to share with them some of the Baraka and blessings in remembering and celebrating the birth of one of Allah Ta’ala’s guiding lights on Earth, نبي الله عيسى بن مريم The Prophet of Allah Ta’ala Jesus son of Mary عليه و على نبيّنا صلوات الله May Allah elevate his and our Prophet’s saw status And may Allah Ta’ala help us all in realising just how much we have in common with the rest of humanity. (33) "So she pointed to him. They said, "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child?" [Jesus] said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah . He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet. And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant. And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive" Maryam 19/29-33 السلام عليك يا نبي الله عيسى بن مريم و رحمة الله و بركاته

What is the Islamic understanding of "The Messiah"? 1 or more than 1?
Guest posted a topic in General Islamic Discussion
I'm going through an interesting case where I'm unsure as to what is the Islamic definition of a Messiah. I'm beginning to understand the reasoning behind the support of Jesus (عليه السلام) being God, the Trinity, and Original Sin Doctrine the Christians espouse despite its irrationality in general. It all hinges on the Christian understanding of Messiah where Jesus (عليه السلام) fulfilled 3 offices of Messiahship: Prophet, Priest, and King. What Christians believe in is the theology of Mono-Messianism when it comes to Jesus (عليه السلام) as not just The Messiah, but The One and Only Messiah, The Seal of All Messiahs before him. Similar to how Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is the Seal of All Prophets before him. Historically, under Judaism the idea of The Messiah holding all 3 offices has never been a general consensus where there were many Messiahs before Jesus and they never hold all 3 offices at unison. And for the interest of Christians when reading the Tanakh of the Jews and how many Messiahs came before Jesus where none of them hold all 3 offices at the same time, it would stand to reason that the office of both King and Priest are polar opposite offices. One can be a Messianic Prophet and a Priest? Sure look at Prophet Isaiah (عليه السلام). One can be a Messianic Prophet and a King? Sure look at Prophet David (عليه السلام) and Prophet Solomon (عليه السلام). How can there be such a thing as a Messianic Prophet that is both a Priest and a King? Isn't this equivalent to Nimrod (Namrood) reasoning where he claims to Abraham, "I am justice where I give life and bring death. I am LifeGiver and DeathBringer given how I am Just." I think this is a question that some Christians think about and hence that's where they attempt to reconcile the issue by saying Jesus is God along with the Trinity and Original Sin Doctrine to maintain that Mono-Messianism theological position of Jesus fulfilling the 3 offices of Messiahship: Prophet, Priest, and King. But most importantly on the notion that Jesus is both a Messianic Priest and Messianic King at the same time. However, what about Poly-Messianism? Wasn't that a theological discourse within Judaism at some point when it came to the Jews understanding of The Messiah? So what I'm trying to understand is the Islamic definition (both Sunni and Shia) of Messiah. Jesus (عليه السلام) is The Messiah that is self-explanatory in The Quran and the Quran furthermore chastises the Christians and Jews to not commit excess in their religion where they are re-interpreting the theology when it comes to the definition of Messiah where you must be God in order to be The Messiah along with other definitions. However, is Jesus (عليه السلام) The One and Only Messiah that is the question? Or is there another entity alongside Jesus who is also The Messiah just as much as him? I've been reading a bit on Shia Hadith Literatures where The Mahdi (عليه السلام) will judge the people like Prophet David (عليه السلام) and Prophet Solomon (عليه السلام) have judged their people. There's also another Hadith narration where a congregation prayer commences (aka Friday Prayer). Jesus (عليه السلام) will pray behind The Mahdi (عليه السلام) during this congregation prayer. When The Mahdi (عليه السلام) asks Jesus (عليه السلام) to lead the congregation prayer since He's The Messiah, Jesus (عليه السلام) will decline the offer to The Mahdi (عليه السلام) where The Mahdi (عليه السلام) will lead the congregation prayer. What does this mean? Is The Mahdi (عليه السلام) also The Messiah just as much as Jesus (عليه السلام)? Does The Mahdi (عليه السلام) have Bani-Israeli ancestry similar to that of a Judean (Yahoodi)? -
i will put some reverences about sufyani... “The rising of as-Sufyani is an inevitable matter. He will rise in the month of Rajab. It will take, since his rising until his end, fifteen months. He will fight for six months. When he conquers the five districts, he will rule for nine months no more no less.” Ithbat al-Hudat, vol.3 p.739, Biharul Anwar, vol.52 p.248, Mo’jam Ahadeeth al-Imam al-Mahdi, vol.3 p.462. ------------- “When as-Sufyani conquers the five districts, then you count to him nine months (the period of his rule)” Hisham claimed that the five districts were Damascus, Palestine, Jordan, Hims and Halab Hims and Halab are two cities in Syria. Biharul Anwar, vol.52 p.252 and refer to references of the first tradition. -------------- “Al-Yamani and as-Sufyani will rise like two racehorses.” Al-Amali by at-Toossi, vol.2 p.275, Biharul Anwar, vol.52 p.253, 275, Mo’jam Ahadeeth al-Imam al-Mahdi, vol.3 p.478. ------------- “When as-Sufyani rises, he will send an army to fight us (the Hashemites) and an army to fight you (the Shia). If that takes place, hurry to us by any means!” Dala’il al-Imama p.261, Biharul Anwar, vol.52 p.253, Mo’jam Ahadeeth al-Imam al-Mahdi, vol.3 p.470. ------------ “As-Sufyani is red, blond and blue. He has never worshipped Allah at all. He has seen neither Mecca nor Medina. He says: O my God, I take revenge even if I go to hell! O my God, I take revenge even if I go to Hell!” Biharul Anwar, vol.52 p.253, Mo’jam Ahadeeth al-Imam al-Mahdi, vol.3 p.274. ........... The narrator says: I said: 'O son of the Messenger of Allah! When will your Qa'am emerge? He replied" At the time when men will imitate the women and women will imitate the men; when women will ride on saddles; when people will cause their prayers to die and will follow their carnel desires; when people will turn users; when shedding of blood will become something insignificant; when trade and business of the openly commit adultery; when they will make towering constructions; when they will consider lie to be lawful; when they will accept bribes; when they will follow their lusts and desire; when they will sell their religion for this world; when they will hold under obligation the one whom they feed; when they will consider forbearance to be the sign of weakness and feebleness and injustice to be an honor; when their rulers will be evil and their ministers liars; when the trustworthy amongst them will be traitors; when the helpers amongst them will be unjust; when the reciters of Quran will be transgressors; when cruelty and oppression will become manifest; when divorce will increase; when people will engage in debauchery and libertinism; when forced witness and lie will be accepted; when they will engage in drinking and gambling; when men will be mounted on; when women shall engage with women (indecent acts); when - people will consider 'Zakat' to be a booty and charity to be a loss; when they will fear from the tongues of the wicked people; when Sufyani shall revolt from Syria and Yemen; when 'Baidah' which is between Mecca and Medina will sink; when a child from the progeny of Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).A.) will be killed between 'Rukn' and 'Maqaam' and when a live voice will be heard from the heavens trying out that the truth is with Mahdi and his followers. It will be then that our Qaem will emerge. When he re- appears, he will stand with his back against the wan of Ka'aba and 313 of his followers would gather around him. The first speech of Qaem would be the following verse: "What remains, with Allah is better for you if you are believers." Then he will say: I am the 'Baqiyatullah' (God's remainder) representative and Proof of Allah upon you. .......... what are youre toughts and opinions......? do we live near his appereance or don't? who can be the sufyani be?

guys, i am sort of back, i know it took soo long from me to get back onto shiachat. but I really needed it, and soo i decided to get offline on whole sociol media including whatsapp etc.. i was only available for some people. i hope you all dont get mad for my really late reply !! i had so many topics into my head but infortunetally i worked smart (not) and forgot to write them into my notes and later on after my burn out i forgot lots of them... i think i will still not be fully available on shiachat but i am trying to bring the topics as promised back to live that is about imam mahdi,pre-advent,qiyamat e sughra/kubra etc.. for now i got this topic into my head, and i think its an important one to discuss it!!! ----------- As we all have start to see it, lots of young people are trying to become religious scholars,to replace the older merjaa's when they will be gone. There are same people who say trough narations that imam mahdi will fight even the shias when he will come. Some say its sahih and some neglect that idea. The ones who belief lots fake sholars will show up before the advent claim that they will get into huge disagreemant until they will say towards the imam the following :"go back to where you came from we dont need youre imamate" this is quit shocking to read. will imam al mahdi will get a hard time also becuase of the soo called shias(scholars) or are these narations corrupted? btw same story goes with sayeds, that lots of them will turn against imam mahdi (aj) what does ahlalbayt say about the return of imam mahdi aj?? there are narrations when in fact say that imam Mahdi aj will have a really hard time before he will establish his government. its even mentioned he will have it twice as hard as how prophet Muhammed (sawa) himself had.. becuase the difference between the two is that our imam will already have muslims against him..while prophet muhammed (sawa) brought islam to the world and not even 1 muslim could get into disagreement with him. ---------- guys, feel free to get back into the topics about imam Mahdi (aj) ,lets make the comment section blow up. may Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) make us amongst his soldiers

On a very serious note, Sunni brothers really need to check the works Im posting in the comments below. These works identify SUFYANI I, predict the rise of SUFYANI II in this decade and more importantly notify the already over first coming of DAJJAL and warn against the more dangerous second coming of DAJJAL masquerading as Mahdi, ALL FROM SUNNI PROPHECIES ONLY. More than just theories, most of the matter in these works consists of almost ascertained facts, fulfilled prophecies and prophecies very close to being fulfilled.

Bill Gates Wants to 'Cover the Sun' to Help Counter Global Warming According to a Forbes post, the billionaire is funding a project that would help dim sunlight. "You can't cover the sun with a finger", but maybe with science and technology yes. According to Forbes , Bill Gates is funding a project that would dim sunlight in order to "cool" the Earth. The research called " Stratospheric Controlled Disturbance Experiment " (SCoPEx for its acronym in English) is carried out by scientists from Harvard University and has the purpose of achieving that the sunlight is reflected outside the atmosphere of our planet. You may be interested: Bill Gates predicts what 2021 will be like, alerts us to our immediate future This solution would be achieved by spraying tons of non-toxic calcium carbonate (CaCO3) into the atmosphere. "SCoPEx is a scientific experiment to advance the understanding of stratospheric aerosols that could be relevant for solar geoengineering," the project page reads. The project will begin to carry out tests that so far consist of releasing a balloon with scientific equipment, which will not spray CaCO3 but will function as a test of maneuver and to explore communications and operating systems. “We plan to use a high-altitude balloon to lift an instrument package approximately 20 km into the atmosphere. Once in place, a very small amount of material (100g 2 kg) will be released to create a disturbed air mass approximately one kilometer long and one hundred meters in diameter. Then we will use the same balloon to measure the resulting changes in the disturbed air mass, including changes in aerosol density, atmospheric chemistry and light scattering, ”they explain. What could go wrong? According to Forbes , scientific opponents of this project believe that solar geoengineering could bring unavoidable risks and extreme changes in weather patterns that would be no different than current warming trends. They also explain that environmentalists fear that a "dramatic" change in mitigation strategy will become a "green light" for greenhouse gases to continue being emitted without any variation in current consumption patterns. ------------------

All four Gospels record Jesus as saying, "Blessed are the peace-makers; they will be called sons of God." Bible says that God is not man ‘God is not a man’ (Numbers 23:19) ‘For I am God, and not man’ (Hosea 11:9) Jesus is called a man many times in the Bible ‘a man who has told you the truth’ (John 8:40) ‘Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.’ (Acts 2:22) ‘He will judge the world in righteousness through a man whom He has appointed’ (Acts 17:31) ‘the man Christ Jesus’ (Tim. 2:5) The Bible says that God is not a son of man ‘God is not a man nor a son of man’ (Numbers 23:19) The Bible often calls Jesus ‘a son of man’ or ‘the son of man.’ ‘so will the son of man be’ (Matthew 12:40) ‘For the son of man is going to come’ (Matthew 16:27) ‘until they see the son of man coming in His kingdom.’ (Matthew 28) ‘But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority’ (Mark 2:10) ‘because he is the son of man’ (John 5:27) In the Hebrew scriptures, the ‘son of man’ is also used many times speaking of people (Job 25:6; Psalm 80:17; 144:3; Ezekiel 2:1; 2:3; 2:6-8; 3:1-3).

There is a very popular and modern Mufti called Abu Layth who has many videos on Youtube. He argues that Sunni sources do not confirm the 2nd coming of Jesus in the end times and this idea has been inserted by Christians. Besides, the majority of Christians are not religious at all. Christianity is gonna decline even more. So it does not make sense for Jesus to come to these people. Isnt Rasool (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) the final prophet, why is another coming after him ? Why isnt Moses coming back forl the jews? Why are the Christians the only one who are gonna be rectified? And isnt the Mahdi enough to deal with Dajjal?

Establising a network It has been said as long the 313 aren’t collected then the return of imam al Mahdi will also be extended.. trough all the technology we have it’s much more easier to get into a communication with people who live on the other side of the world.. technically we don’t have a reason to not create a network and preparing for his pleasant return. if we would start to create a network than its not really that important to have seen each other in real live... trough social network we can do its actually easier and much more save.. if we Got connected To each other trough socialmedia like;twitter,Instagram,Facebook, tiktok etc... we could easily work together by creating group chats and working together to spread the messegas of ahlalbait!! for example I was downloading TikTok with an intention to post about Shia Islam and spreading it and showing that Shia Islam isn’t a kuffar religion etc... I found out that I was not only one with such idea... i saw how lots of people spreaded Shia Islam in no time.. and people constantly asking who the halal Bayt actually are... so social network makes it so much easier to spread knowledge and get in contact with people from the other side of the world!! no one can be left alone coz everyone can safely join it!! Either anonymously or without Btw I really want to be clear!! Everyone who doesn’t want to join then ignore the post and if you are interest than please let’s help each other to create a huge social network from different countries all over the world..let’s not forget that’s its our future and it can get destroyed if we wouldn’t work together because of the satanical world we start to live in with lots of legalizations of disguising things.. please remember our future and the next ones.. you’re thoughts??

Its disguisting how the world started hating the muslim society (especially shia-islam) at once! for example: we all know in the western culture that someone can be rejected for work on application interview only because his foreign islamic name or even of their appereance like a hijab. Or if we take it more worse like being rejected for a study only with a hijab on!!! -> lately a lot of schools/universities are opening a new law for students to not wear a hijab and if you don't agree then you should get off the school! that means its getting more and more tight for the muslims these days especially women with a hijab on! I will put down below some of the hijab-bans from this year ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1,Macron's anti-Islam remarks trigger far-right policies in Franc French President Emmanuel Macron's recent remarks that target Islam triggered far-right groups in the country to implement anti-Muslim policies, especially against Muslim women who wear headscarves. Macron recently claimed that some Islamic religious practices are "separatist" because they carry the threat of seceding from French institutions and rules. scources:https://www.dailysabah.com/world/europe/macrons-anti-islam-remarks-trigger-far-right-policies-in-france France, Oct. 7, 2020. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.BRUSSELS Some 1,000 people took the streets in the Belgian capital on Sunday to advocate for the right to wear headscarves at universities. scources:https://www.aa.com.tr/en/europe/belgian-protest-for-headscarf-rights-at-university/1900618 Belgium 05.07.2020 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- countries with hijab ban 1.Kosovo (since 2009) 2.Turkey (gradually lifted) 3.Azerbaijan (since 2010) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- there are multiple hadith saying that the muslims in the end of time will experience a really hard time, since the begin of 2000 the world turned step by step more arrogant towards an inocent religion and is busy accusing the muslims of alots of attacks (9 11-building) which we haven't done.. if you look at the difference of life before 2000 then everyone will say it was unjust BUT never against islam as much as now.. what are youre toughts???

Salaam, Who taught or revealed the Gospel to Jesus? Since we believe Jibraeel revealed the Qur'an to our Nabi and Jibraeel is the Arcangel of Revelation, who revealed the Gospel to Jesus and is there any evidence? Same question for Ibrahim and Musa... Did Allah speak directly to Abraham and Moses? Did Allah also speak directly to Jesus and Muhammad and is there any evidence? By "evidence" I specifically mean Ayats in Qur'an, Hadith or anything from our Imams stating these things. Thank you!

Wa salam alaikum! (did I spell that right?) I have a question about which I would love to hear a Muslim perspective. It regards Jesus Christ, a favorite for all of us. In my conversations with Muslims, many say things like "Jesus never claimed to be God." So I would like to know what you (the Muslims on here) would say about this passage from John chapter 8: 54 Jesus answered, “If I want glory for myself, it doesn’t count. But it is my Father who will glorify me. You say, ‘He is our God,’ 55 but you don’t even know him. I know him. If I said otherwise, I would be as great a liar as you! But I do know him and obey him. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced as he looked forward to my coming. He saw it and was glad.” 57 The people said, “You aren’t even fifty years old. How can you say you have seen Abraham?[j]” 58 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I am![k]” 59 At that point they picked up stones to throw at him. But Jesus was hidden from them and left the Temple. [emphasis mine; for full context, check here] In this passage, we see Jesus expressing several important things. God is his father Jesus is older than Abraham Jesus uses the name of God {"I am"} as a description of himself. The Jewish authorities recognized this as a claim to divinity, as evidenced by their grabbing of stones to kill him. God vindicated this claim by hiding Jesus so he could leave the Temple safely. What are your thoughts about this passage?

Jesus does not require women to wear a hijab but requires our hearts to be pure, modest, and full of him. Why in Islam women wear hijab and think that they are close to God when in fact it does mean anything because I know women who wear hijab and tons of makeup and flirt with men. Is Islam misleading women by requiring them to wear hijab? or is this rule just for men to better control themselves. I do not understand. And if it is for men why should I be responsible for another person's lust or desires? As a woman in Middle East country I noticed because I do not wear Hijab, muslim men think they have more "right" to look at me? They stare, in Western countries men are more respectful of women. Middle Eastern men seem to think women are for them and if they do not wear hijab they are trying to show off. Is this the effect of Islam on society? I feel the Western society is better because I am not stared at like here in Middle East.

Hello everybody, I am new to the community and I just have a question regarding the Shia Muslim view on the crucifixion of Christ. I have been interested in comparative religion as of late and I have been studying up on Islamic Christology just to get a better idea of it, and most of my focus has been on the Islamic view of Jesus's crucifixion which is central to my faith and I know can be of huge controversy between Christians and Muslims. As I understand it, the vast majority of Muslims (mainly Sunni) hold to the a substitution view on the death of Christ, that is, someone was made to appear like Christ (possibly Judas) and was crucified in his place instead while Jesus was assumed into heaven by the help of Allah. This seems to be in full agreement with Surah An-Nisa 4:57 where is explicity states, "That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not..." I have, however, come across alternative views and interpretations among with verse, particularly among Ahmaddiyas who advocate for a swoon theory, and I have also come across different theories among Shias, some holding to the traditional view that most Sunnis hold to, while others holding to a more esoteric view like the Ismaili's Shias, though I haven't been able to find a full explanation of their belief. As far as I understand it, some Sunnis don't consider Shias to be true Muslims due to these kinds of beliefs. Could anyone further explain the views on the crucifixion of Jesus in Shia Islam?

Why every time I that I mention Jesus and my love for him, the Muslim person I am speaking with goes into this script, (I feel like it is a script because diverse people have used the same words verbatim), of how they love Jesus too. They say, "One cannot be Muslim unless he believes in Jesus, I love Jesus, I love Jesus more than you" Honestly, this shows a great misunderstanding in the Muslim's person understanding. Do Muslim people realize that Christians do not love Jesus like as a prophet, we do not love him a religious duty. We surely do not love him in the context of a person from the Islamic faith would love him. We do not relate nor believe in him as someone from the Islamic faith. They might as well be two completely different people. (They have different life stories, deaths, resurrection, and prophecies told in the Koran and the Bible). Do Muslim people understand that when a Christian expresses their love for Jesus, they are referring to a love deeper than that of a mother, a child, or a husband/wife? This is a love of "savior", meaning: I was dead and he gave me life. I was poor and he gave me riches. I had ashes, he gave me beauty. He not only gave me life, but a blessed, abundant beautiful. I owe him my life. To me, this type of response to a Christian who talks about their love for Jesus reveals a wide gap of understanding from the Muslim person. Do you owe Jesus your life, did he stay with all night when you were alone and no one was there, did he sing to you songs and comfort and fill your heart with life, truth, and love? If not, then please don't tell me you love him, because you don't know him to love him. How do you love what you do not know? Maybe you love the idea of him, but not him. For example, a weak analogy would be you sharing about the birth of your son, and how much your son means to you and he is your life and your joy and your pride. The person you speak with who has never seen your son, nor knows him, says, "I love him too, more than you, I love him so much". He then says, "What's his name, I forgot" and goes his life without ever spending any time with or buying anything for your son. You would say, "Do not tell me you love my son, your words are just lip service, and flattery". Lip service and words are increasingly meaningless in this world when they have no action behind them. Does this frustration make sense, I always remind myself, the Muslim person has the best intention to make good relations with me, but they just do not understand as they should.

The following are wise teachings of Prophet Jesus(as) in the words of Prophet Muhammad and the Purified Imams. Jesus (as) said: Oh Apostles! How many lanterns have been extinguished by the wind and how many devoted servants of God have been destroyed by self-pride! (Mustadrak-al-wasail/ vol 1/ pg 139/ hadith 10) Jesus (as) said: Verily you will not attain that which you love except through having patience with that which you hate. (Mustadrak-al-wasail/ vol 2/ pg 425/ hadith 22) Jesus (as) was asked: Who taught you good manners? He replied: No one has taught me good manners. I saw the ugliness of ignorance and I put it aside. (Bihar-al-anwar/ vol 14/ pg 326/ hadith 44) Jesus (as) prepared some food for the Apostles. When they were done eating, he himself washed their hands. They said: oh spirit of God, it was our duty to wash your hands. Jesus (as) said: This I did so that you treat your disciples in the very same way. (Bihar-al-anwar/ vol 14/ pg 327/ hadith 42) Jesus (as) said: When a mule is left unridden, unworked and unloaded for a long time, its nature will change and will become bad tempered. Hearts are just the same, when they are not softened by the remembrance of death followed by the perseverance of worship, they will become rough and hardened. (Bihar-al-anwar/ vol 14/ pg 309/ hadith 17) God revealed to Jesus (as) : When I grant you a blessing, embrace it with humility so that I may complete it for you. (Bihar-al-anwar/ vol 14/ pg 328/ hadith 56) Jesus (as) told his disciples: Increase your actions in that which the fire does not consume. They then asked: And what is that? Jesus (as) replied: Good deeds. (Bihar-al-anwar/ vol 14/ pg 330/ hadith 65) Imam Sadiq (as) said: Jesus the son of Mary (as) said: One who lies much loses his worth. (Bihar-al-anwar/ vol 14/ pg 330/ hadith 69) Jesus (as) said: Do not take the world as a lord, for it will take you as a slave. (Bihar-al-anwar/ vol 14/ pg 327/ hadith 47) Jesus (as) said: The body of one who grieves too much will surely become ill. (al-Amali by Saduq/ pg 636/ hadith 853) Jesus (as) said: My servants are my two hands, my horse are my two legs,my bed is the hard earth, and my pillow is a rock. My source of heat in the winter is the light of the sun. I pass my nights while I don't have anything, I rise in the morning while I do not have anything. However, there is no one on the face of this earth that is richer than I am. (Bihar-al-anwar/ vol 14/ pg 239/ hadith 17) Jesus (as) said: The most wretched of people is he who is well-known for his knowledge and not for his actions. (Bihar-al-anwar/ vol 2/ pg 52/ hadith 19) Among the teachings of Christ (as) is the following: Blessed are you if when envied, cursed, backbitten and slandered, you are filled with delight. For verily your reward will become abundant in the heavens. (Tuhaf-al-uqul / page 501) Jesus (as) addressed a man saying: What is your profession? He said: I have taken up deep worship. Jesus asked : Then who provides your livelihood? He said: My brother does. Then Jesus said to him: Then your brother is a greater servant of God than you. (Tanbih-al-khawatir/volume 1/ page 65.) Imam Sadiq (as) said: Jesus the son of Mary said: I gave medicine to the sick and cured them by God's will. I gave sight to the blind and healed the leaper by Gods will. I tended to the dead and gave them life by God's will. I tended to the fool but I was unable to correct him. Jesus was then asked: Oh spirit of God! Who is a fool? Jesus replied: One who is enamoured with himself and his own ideas, who seas only himself in possession of every virtue, and who considers only himself as right and no one else. Such a person as this is a fool to whose cure there is no road. (Bihar-al-anwar/ vol 14/ pg 324)

SalamAlaykum Brothers and sisters. I hope you are all well in shaa Allah. Basically I had a question regarding this Ayat. It's 4:163 Surah An-Nisa, Verse 163: Surely We have revealed to you as We revealed to Nuh, and the prophets after him, and We revealed to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and Isa and Ayub and Yunus and Haroun and Sulaiman and We gave to Dawood Zabuur (English - Shakir) via iQuran --------____________======___________ Why are the Prophets in such a order in this Ayat. I mean Noah Abraham Isaac Ishmael and Jacob make sense because of the Genealogy but the rest of those Prophets in the Ayat I have no clue. Has any of you come across this Ayat and maybe asked the same Question. Why being in such a Order. And for those who will say that it isn't important etc. I will reply to say that there is always a reason why Allah reveales the Ayat in a specific way. I wanna know in shaa Allah. Cant wait for the replies!!!

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim Salam Aleykum, What would you do if Imam Mahdi is not shia? Will you believe and help him? If he has all the characteristics, sunnahs and struggles that Ahlul Bayt (as) mentioned, that both sunni and shia mentioned, trials, justice, Allah's Messenger's (saaws) Sunna and character, piety, knowledge, guidance and help of Allah , many Signs from Allah that he is the one, and everything about him shows you that he is Imam Mahdi, but he is not shia, will you accept him although it contradicts shia views of Imam Mahdi? What if Imam Mahdi is not arab but his origin is arabic? What if he is not born in Madina but Allah will show him from Madina? If he is sunni, but loves the Ahlul Bayt (as) like no other person, and struggles and fights for them while the rest are hesitating, and he struggles and fights for Allah's Messenger (saaws), will you accept him? If he loves the Sahaba (ra), and understands them better than anyone else, he knows what really happened and explains and proves that they were the best of people on earth after the Prophets (as), and as for Muawiya, he rejects him as Sahaba but leaves that matter to Allah's Hands to Judge and points out the errors that Muawiya made but warns to not curse him nor any Sahaba will you still accept him? He hates yazid and defends Hussein (as), when he hears about Hussein (as) his eyes flow with tears and his heart beats fast, but he also loves the Sahaba (ra) and his love for them is very great, will you still refuse him? He defends the shia in whatever they are right, and he even defends them against sunnis, still he loves both and wants them united, so he fights for both of them and teaches them mercy. He loves shia as brothers, LOVES IRAN and its people, supports them in their struggle against the enemies of Allah, he counts shia in Iran and Sayed Nasrallah as best among the best of the Ummah, but he explains shia that some of what they believe is not true and Islamic, but actually a corruption by the zionist crusade, and proves them that Sunni is the correct creed, will you still refuse him just because of what you have been taught all these years? If Imam Mahdi shows you that you have misunderstood the hadith about him from Ahlul Bayt (as), and that a lot of it has been added into your group, will you still refuse him even after that? I need to know whether you are ready to accept Imam Mahdi and fight for Allah with your life, heart and wealth, are you ready to accept him for the sake of Allah if he is not Shia? Ask yourself very well and honestly these questions and answer them, if you answer with "no" in all the questions, then ask yourself whether you are really sincere to Allah after all, whether you follow Allah's Qur'an, or you follow whatever tradition and parents follow. The jews refused Allah's Messenger Muhammad (saaws) because of their envy and pride against arabs, they did not accept him because of his being arab, though he had all the Signs that he is the one propheciesed in their books. That made them fall into worse sins that lead them to all the corruption and injustice they do today. So don't fall into the same trap! If you are not ready, then Shia will suffer trials until they are ready to accept him, even if he is not Shia, and only then Allah inshAllah will reveal him. Allah has Mercy for you, you still believe in His tawhid and you have not fallen to what jews have fallen to when Isa (as) and Muhammad (saaws) came. Therefore, build your Iman and relationship with Allah first, if you have built the Iman and are ready to die for Allah, then you will be ready for Imam Mahdi inshAllah even if he is not shia, Allah Azza wa Jal will enable you to accept him if you have Iman. If you are not ready, then there is much work to be done, work on it inshAllah my brothers and sisters because it will save you from being astray when the time comes, and the Iman will inshAllah earn you a place with Allah Azza wa Jall in Janna and save you from Jahannam. That time will be a very very very hard time, lots of trials will occur that you haven't even thought of, most of the world will be devastated and what will remain will be only few lands, it will be Allah's Help during a nuclear war, meaning when Imam Mahdi comes there will be already a world war which will increase and head towards Malhama. That will then be a huge battle between truth and falsehood, more precisely a battle between the army of Allah vs shaytan and his army, and I mean this literally. The dajjal's army is shaytan's army. Don't worry about the technology and guns, Allah Azza wa Jall already has Plans against that, built Tawakkul in Allah, Allah Azza wa Jal is the Protector. All tyrants and injustice will be broken down, thereafter comes a beautiful rain that will make earth beautiful similar to Paradise, this will be Allah's Mercy before he gives the believers the real Paradise. The earth will be destroyed and remade only after Muslims get Victory worldwide, this fight will not be for anything else except Allah's Haq and Justice. Therefore, Muslims, shia and sunni need a very strong foundation of Tawhid and Yaqin Certainty in Allah Azza wa Jal in their heart, because they will have to struggle like no other people in history, lots of time they will feel like giving up, this is why you must build your Iman in Allah Azza wa Jal, so that nothing can break you, NOTHING. Don't ask for Allah Azza wa Jal to hasten Imam Mahdi's arrival, until you are ready for it. Because when he comes, he is going to put you into work, from children to old, he will give you lots of different directions and teach you how to focus on Allah Azza wa Jal in everything you do, meaning whatever you do will be ONLY for Allah and His Love for you. Allah is number one, everything comes second, his army will be only with this type of men and women. You need to be ready for that work spiritually, mentally and physically, you will need to be educated a lot in Islam and other subjects, because you will do Da'wah while struggling in Allah's Way. Get to work inshAllah, the time is near inshAllah, but get to work and start being merciful to each other in the Ummah, start treating Sunnis as brothers except the extremist fools, but work on unity with Sunni, you will really need it! Whether the Imam is among us or not, our purpose is to serve and worship Allah, that is what matters, so start building Tawhid and Yaqin in Allah Azza wa Jal with knowledge, begin with the Qur'an, then science, know politics, and understand history, focus on fixing your Nafs, make a LOT of Zikr and memorise the Qur'an, learn a lot about spirituality from the Ahlul Bayt (as) especially Ali (as), make him (as) your role model only after Allah's Messenger (saaws); put on top Allah's Messenger (saaws), Shia do not know him almost at all, make more lectures about the Messenger (saaws), and learn how to be like him; never curse (ra) the Sahaba since you have no clue who they really were, their bodies were full of blood to defend Allah's Qur'an and His Messenger (saaws), nobody can dare to insult and slander them, Allah Azza wa Jal your Lord commands Muslims in the Qur'an to not slander each other so fear Allah Al Jabbar your Creator. Learn to take it easy on each other and mankind, be harsh only against Allah's Azza wa Jal enemies, serve Allah Azza wa Jal and help mankind, because a lot of them need Da'wa and will be Muslims especially after the major trials begin, your Da'wah will help them inshAllah. Talk to mankind and new Muslims only about Allah Azza wa Jal, the proofs of Islam and the Qur'an, leave the shia sunni issues aside especially when you yourself do not comprehend what really the issue is - a political one made by zionist jews to cause hatred amongst Muslims. Think about what I said, and do follow my advice seriously, inshAllah you will understand, may Allah Azza wa Jal help and strengthen you for Imam Mahdi, Amin Allah. Salam aleykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

So here I have a kind of question on the most popular criticism used bu Sunni/Wahabbis against shias. This is what I am talking about : http://www.sunni-news.net/en/articles.aspx?article_no=27879 Summary:Sunnis say that the beliefs of christians and shias are same as they take their prests/imams as gods other than Allah. Like in the case of Ali and Jesus, Christians believe that Jesus was a God but so week to die on a cross, while shias believe that Ali (a.s) is on higher rank than Prophet Muhammad and strong like God but so week to protect Islam after Prophet Muhammad and had to accept all kinds of accusations against him. (ASTAGFIRULLAH) Question : Now my question is that how can we prove them wrong ? Are we really saying that Ali has attributes of God ?
