Salaam Alaykum Dear Sisters, Thanks for reading this post. I was wondering how to wear fake eyelashes and be able to do wudhoo. Is there any fatwa regarding this? Does the water have to touch my eyelashes, or the part of the skin where the eyelash grows? Is it possible to wear fake eyelashes above your eyelashes and do wudhoo or does it have to be below my natural lashes [ I don't even know if thats an option] ? (salam) There is a question that is looming over my head for quite some time. :wacko: Now, with regards to verifying a hadith's authenticity, what is the process in which I, as a layman, can know the grading of the hadith (i.e. sahih, da'eef, etc.). Apart from consulting a scholar, is checking the reliability of transmitters and, perhaps, pondering on the "mitn" (content) of the hadith, the only way to verifying what a hadith's grading is? I suspect there is a book where hadith numbers from certain books are listed side by side with the grading of the respective hadith, although I could be in error. Could anyone pave the way for me. Salaams Brothers, I plan on inshallah leaving for Ziyarat in Iraq soon, and have been told that we will be having to complete ghusl with the water from River Furat - I hope someone could help me understand how to perform this ghusl? Assalamun aleykum brothers and sisters ^_^ First of all, I newly discovered this forum and i found it really helpful. I reverted to Shia islam newly, after making alot of research in 4 years, mainly with the help from my shia-muslim friends and sometimes from books. I were born as sunni muslim, but i started to gain more belief for Shia islamic teaching and point of views. The reason i wanted to be a part of this forum, is because im interessted to learn more by asking. By this, i can get more explainations from different people in this forum instead of asking 1 or 2 persons. So my first question is about praying (namaz), how do i pray in the shia way? As i have found out from my research (in this case, mainly from the internet), there is quite many differences between shia and sunni way to pray. I found some links regarding to this and wanted to share them with you all, and get some views on which one that are right or wrong, and maybe give some corrections. Its hard when the parents are not following the same path so they can teach the children. Salam Alaykom brothers and sisters! I´m a guy who is really looking forward tp the day I´m getting married. I dont have anybody right now, and have no interests in anybody either...I think...not really sure... :S But I sometimes think about how me and my future wife could arrange a wedding that is not haram in any way but still not boring. What is allowed and not allowed? Wassalam!
