  1. Why does the Naqshbandi Golden Chain of transmission trace back to Abu Bakr through Jafar as-Sadiq, a Shi'a Imam? My understanding is that each Shi'a Imam was taught by his predecessor, which was also his father, so it should trace back to Ali instead of Abu Bakr as Sunnis claim.
