I will start this thread with the first hand experience I have had from dealing with this person. I gave him charity, zakat and khums money and later, found out from a very reliable source that the khums and charity money never reached its intended recipient. After I was deceived by this man, I searched on the internet and found many other websites which expose the lies this person has spread. Unfortunately for me, all the khums and zakat money donated to this person has been lost. I wish I had checked his name on internet before giving him any donations. Here are some other websites / postings: He was working for Pakistani Government at one time but apparenly all of his bio on the website was fabrication. Someone took the time to research his background: http://www.scribd.com/doc/9652898/The-Reality-of-a-Great-International-Scholar-Dr-Mohsin-Naqvi Many other people have been deceived by this man: http://fraudmohsin.wordpress.com/ And here (read the comments at the bottom of this profile): http://www.awaztoday.com/singleprofile/383/Dr-Mohsin-Naqvi.aspx

al-islam Al-Islam Needs Fundraising (Donations)
Abraram posted a topic in General Islamic Discussion
Salaam Alaikum everyone, Over the last couple of years, Al-Islam has been focusing efforts on : - Launching the new site, based on the Al-Islam.org 2.0 vision: http://www.al-islam.org/2.0/ - Working on a New Al-Quran Project - Developing a mobile app for iOS and Android - Adding several new texts & Multimedia resources to the library - And other general improvements to the site These efforts along with server costs and site maintenance has increased their expenses. So far Al-Islam have been covering these expenses from donations by individuals who support the vision of Al-Islam.org. However, now Al-Islam collections are no longer matching their monthly expenditure. And they are in urgent need of funds to continue the pace of development work. How you can help: Al-Islam has put up a Support Us page, where well wishers can donate directly to them. They have a goal to raise recurring donation of $5000 a month to support current and future developments. http://blog.al-islam.org/support Please share this page with your friends by email and on Social Media, and encourage them to support the site with donations, even if the amount is small. Thank you! -
Listen up guys my cousin in Syria is is a really terrible situation right now and is being forced by her abusive ex-husband to pay 30,000 dollars to buy the home he owns or be left out on the streets. She has no job or savings to support herself. Please, if you could donate anything you can, even if its a dollar, it still counts. Thank you so much brothers and sisters. Please spread this.
