  1. Hi guys. Is there the belief among Muslim that they are the Final people? This verse makes it clear for me that every people have a time. For example Judaism ended with the Proclamation of Christ and Christianity ended with the Proclamation of Prophet Muhammad. Are Muslims the last people or will something follow? My understanding from this verse is that there is a people to come after. There is also a Hadith which testifieh to this truth:
  2. Surah Al-Hamd says Allah is the master of Day of Judgment. MAALIKI YAWMID DEEN. Master of the Day of Judgment. There is no doubt that Allah is Master of day of judgement. I want to know what is the role of Imam Hassan (A.S) and Imam Hussain (A.S) on the day of Judgement who are master of youth of Paradise? If Allah is solely going to judge us then why they are Master of youth of Paradise. What is their role as a master of youth of paradise.
  3. Assalamualaikum everyone, This is my first post on Shiachat so lets see how it goes. Today I spoke to two friends about Islam again. They are both agnostic, one used to be a practising Christian, the other a Buddhist. We talked about religions and Islam and none of us seem to see eye to eye about most of it. What I got stuck on during our discussion is: How are non-believers/kafirs treated in Islam, particularly on Judgement Day? My knowledge is limited but I would like to learn more too about this, as its quite a relevant topic for non-muslims. Personally, I would like to believe that our Lord is omnibenevolent and that non-believers as well as believers of different religions will be judged by Allah according to the good and bad they have done in their lives. I was sent an excerpt from Surah Yunus, 10:4 specifically, saying: those who disbelieved will have a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment for what they used to deny. Now this was a Sahih International translation they found online. So, main question repeated is: how will non-believers and theists from other religions be treated and judged by Allah? Thanks
  4. Assalamo aleikom, if this topic has been discussed elsewhere, I apologize in advance for posting. I was reading about the end of the world and Allah (swt) sending Malek Maut to take the lives of the inhabitants of earth. Then He sends him to each of the Heavens to take their lives. And he finally reaches Jibrael until Malek Maut is the last one to become deceased. A few questions I have: 1. who are the inhabitants of the 7 heavens? Is it just jinn and angels? Are there any humans like living prophets there? 2. If we die before then do we miss the calamities of the world's destruction (the first blow of the trumpet etc) or are we raised from the dead in order to experience the destruction of the worlds? 3. Do the people who are in paradise now like the prophets, do they "die" again or did they "skip" this event. (Tnis sort of ties to momens who have died before the last day...and whether they skip this event as well. If there are any interesting reads out there that have answers to some of these questions, I would apreciate links. Thanks. salams. TLH
  5. Theory of Reincarnation – Satanic Trap How many humans have been led astray by the theory of reincarnation? This theory is logically inconsistent and flawed from every angle that you observe it. It does not provide the necessary motivation to do good and it does not encourage sympathy with fellow human beings. This fanciful theory, which emerged many centuries ago, was invented by oppressive high ruling class in order to further their control and oppress the weak and deprived. It was gradually imposed on the poor masses and turned into a religious belief. The followers of this theory believe that the soul returns again and again with the purpose of correcting its deficiencies and perfecting it towards achieving the greatest human qualities. 6. I came across this hadeeth which please comment. If it is not authentic / doubtful do comment too. I am just curious to find out more because it is quite weighty. I simplify it in point forms: RasulAllah SAW said the Muslim Ummah will be under five (5) banners in the Day of Judgement:- 1. The first banner, the Pharaoh of this community, and he is Muawiya. 2. The second, the Samiri of this community, and he is Umar Bin Al-A’as. 3. The third, the Catholic of this community, and he is Abu Musa Al-Ashary. 4. And the fourth would be with Abu Al-Awr Al-Salmy. 5. And the fifth would be with you O Ali! ============== Below are just my scanty notes: 1. Muawiyah la is quite well-known. In what way(s) is he alikened to Pharaoh? 2. Umar Bin Al-A’as lived during the time of Muawiyah la, and history recorded him to have conquered Eqypt. Sounds like he is from the Umayyad clan. In what way is he to Samirri? 3. Wiki saya Abu Musa Al-Ashary was at various times governor of Basra and Kufa (during caliphate of Umar & Uthman) and was involved in the early Muslim conquests of Persia. He was from Yemen. A military man. Why is he considered the Catholic of this community? Related useful notes: Info on the Sunnah wal-Jamaah Group: Imams of Fiqh: Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Malik, Imam Shafii & Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal Imams of Aqeedah (Ilm al-Kalam): Imam Tahawi, Imam Maturidi, Imam Ashari and Imam Nasafi Is Abu Musa Al-Ashary the Father of Aqeedah to the Sunnis? 4. Abu Al-Awr Al-Salmy was one of the army commander of Muawiya. Malik Ashtar wanted to duel with him but the latter refused. Is he the umbrella to the upcoming Sufyani and the radical, armed Nasibis? 5. Ameerul Mukmineen Imam Ali (as). He is the Straight Path. Denying him (as) and the other Imams (as) entails rejecting the true teachings of Islam. ============== RasulAllah SAW mentioned it during his time. Note that he SAW mentioned Ummah. The Muslims. Not non-Muslims. Thus, current and future 'Muslims' will fall under the 5 banners. My reflection is that the theme revolves the acceptance/ rejection of the Wilayah / Imamate ... whether rejecting the true teachings or harming the Imams (as) and the Shias (True Believers) ...
  7. Salaams, As many of us know, there is a 'waiting period' between when you die and the Day of Judgement which is called "Barzakh" in which everyone will undergo the squeezing of the grave and other punishments (depending on the severity of your sins obviously). When the Universe is destroyed on the Day of Judgement (after Imam (a.s.) resurrects and builds a government etc and brings peace to the world) will the people who die on that day also undergo Barzakh? Will some be resurrected straight after they die without needing to go to this "middle-realm"? What are your opinions/ideas? (Please correct me if any of my knowledge is wrong :))
