Who else that the awrah ruling we have has a very confusin double standard

How come women have a super modest awrah/required way of dressing in front of non-mahrams, while men basically have almost no awrah and are allowed to walk in immodest ways as long as just their genitals and buttocks is covered. Because if I look at the logic behind why the women's hijab exists, why is that same logic not applied to men whatsoever, especially since a shirtless man with short shorts is not even considered modest by seccular/non-religious standards, and majority of straight women would be attracted by that. And I am obviously not saying that the male and female hijab should be the exact same, but why do men not need to be modest at all, at least with other sects of Islam they make men have an awrah of naval to knee, and Iran used to have a law where men in public could not wear a short sleeve, shorts, or sleevless top. I guess what I am trying to ask is why can men be so immodest publically but women have super strict modesty laws. And not only is complete immodesty allowed, but some people encourage it at religious events like Sineh Zani. Because I always liked what Ayatollah Sistani said and followed shia rulings, but after hearing about the Shia awrah/hijab in front of non-mahrams I am now not so sure how I feel about him, since the reasoning behind the female hijab is not used for men for some reason.(This is coming from a man who dresses modestly even in the heat by the way). -
If I wear a very long Hijab (I think its called Jilbab? Example here, Do I have to wear clean clothing underneath as well? (e.g. new pyjama's) Because I go to the bathroom in my pyjama's, can I wear something on top of them to pray in?

Wasail al Shia Volume 4 Page 382 Imam Jafar Sadigh (alaihe salam) said "Black is makrooh on all items except for turban, cloak." (There is one more which I forget) In all depictions the Imams and Prophets are depicted in turbans. Wasail al Shia Volume 3 Page 297 At Ghadir Khums the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wasallam) tied a green imamah onto the head of Imam Ali (alaihe salam) which was green in colour with one end in front and one end behind. All our scholars wear turbans, but none recommend it for us, some even discourage. In Qom, graduates only wear turbans. Why is that?

Shia Ahadith Used For Fiqh On Women's Modesty

Salam I did the whole Google site search of SC. Wilayah has posted some very helpful material. I have also seen (you might have to copy-paste the URL) http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?hl=en&q=cache:3jMABu0m00cJ:http://www.imamreza.net/eng/imamreza.php . My biggest complaint with it is that the footnotes are not listed, so there are no references. When I get more time, perhaps I could try to Google each citation, but #Unsure. http://www.imamreza.net/eng/imamreza.php?id=9475 -
I have read on Al-Islam that men cannot approach their wife naked, I think its makruh. Can you explain why this is? thank you

I am a 20 year old man living in London: I love covering myself with as much clothing as I can wear. When I go to Uni I wear my long traditional Islamic dress, wear a long coat and I try to cover my head too. If I ever wear jeans, I cover myself with a long coat, unless its summer. I am even considering wearing a black turban when I go out, walking in London with a turban. And I also hate t-shirts, shirts, jeans and pants, I like old fashioned loose cloths which cover entire body and shape. Other young men around me like jeans and t-shirts and like to show some skin but I hate showing skin. From now, I am considering ditching jeans forever, or pants and wearing long Afghan peran thamban with a turban. Is this weird? Would people find it weird or interesting and is it good and allowed to wear such clothing in London?
