French Tarot is a card game played with a traditional 78 Card Tarot Deck. It predates the use of Tarot Cards as a fortune telling tool. I think it seems pretty interesting. And its not popularly used as a gambling tool compared to the regular deck of playing cards. Heres the Wikipedia article on French Tarot; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_Tarot Would this game be Haram in Shia Fiqh?
Salaam brothers and sisters, My family has a long history of playing poker type games without gambling for money. Peas or "chips" are used to make the game tangible but no real gambling occurs. Is this sinful? I viewed other sources and they have said no and I personally have never felt compelled to truly gamble after playing. Is it haram?
