Its still early in the morning and there is 12 more hours and a half left to fast, but I’m leaving to go to work soon and will be there for most of the day. I already feel faint and because of the physical activity at work, I fear that I will pass out. Is this a valid enough reason to drink some water and break my fast without having to to kaffarah? Can I just fast it qatha?
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem Salaam alaykum Brothers & Sisters As some of you are aware I am, besides a friend of mine, the only Shia at my Mosque. This can sometimes be a bit of a problem especially now that I have been invited to the Mosque to break my fast there. The only issue is, that Sunni's break their fast before Maghreb prayer and then pray Maghreb but they pray Maghreb at an earlier time to us. So I'm not sure what I should do. I don't want to be rude and not go, afterall they did invite me and I love going to the Mosque so I doubt I'm not going to turn up but if I go and eat with everyone else will my fast be void? Because they eat earlier then us. Majority of them are Hanafi, our Imam follows the Hanafi School of Thought as well. What would you do in my situation? Should I go and just not eat, then I would be sitting around watching others eat and by the time Maghreb comes and I pray I doubt anything will be left :P or am I allowed to break fast with my Sunni Brothers? Thanks in advanced :) salaam alaykum
