Salam everyone, I'm a new member to shiachat, hope everyone is well. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to make a blog? Theres also a blog post ABOUT this made by a super helpful mod but I cannot find the "create a blog" button they speak of! Is it because I'm a new member? Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks

Salam to everyone, Here I would like to discuss an important proposal with you. We all know that Shia chat has an immense popularity not only among Shias but other sects too. There are other reasons too to start up with an all new "SC BLOG" where all the writers would write on current hot topics and other interests (I think we should focus on the current issues but yeh everything depends upon the respective Admin). Sub domain would be like: shiachat.com/blog. Dev team can talk to me if they wanna help bring up the blog. I can also help in building and arranging team to help you out with this. There are other benefits of blog too and here is my list: 1. Increases traffic for SC resulting in SC ads, subscribers and members. 2. Shia voice to counter the biased news blogs. 3. Engaging visitors to read some quality articles and news regarding the world. 4. SC BLOG would be different from the forum as it would have quality, original and written by writers from SC and others. Anyone who is reading this post must vote on the poll and yeh notify the admins around the SC to look out for its maximum exposure. We can discuss the matter further if Administration is interested in this proposal. With duas and blessings. :)

Dear All, Salamalaikum, I am pleased to inform that we have an opportunity to start our own Shiachat-Blog™ . There are some dedicated members who wish to see the blog become a success, through their efforts. However, it is obvious that the blog will need more contributors to increase the chances of its success. Why a blog? While you can, and do, post on the forum, the blog will feature high quality content. This will help us significantly increase and share our knowledge. It will also help solve the problem of exceptional posts being lost under the new/updated threads. Your contributions to the blog will help us increase audience for the shiachat blog in general and shiachat in particular, while displaying a deservingly better and intelligent image of the online Shia community. In order to create your blog, you will need to research and learn a lot. If you commit a certain number of articles, you will psych yourself into learning more while creating them. You can create you own blog on blogspot etc. But here on shiachat, you will be getting an interested and a ready audience. Now that we are done with the marketing, a few things need to be considered before volunteering- Each contribution for the blog should have at least around 750 words. The content should be original and of a good quality- meaning that the content should be of some value to the readers. The project will move forward only if the contributions keep coming. So please do stick to your pledges. To be very specific, the first submission of the blog will display the actual level of interest. And as you all know, the first step is the hardest. Dont hesitate to take the plunge. You may feel free to seek assistance from fellow contributors and the shiachat members for getting enough material for the blog. Currently, the volunteers are to be from shiachat alone, so if you are a 'Guest' (not registered), then you might consider registering. Or shiachat members can post the blogs on behalf of their friends. This topic and the poll is to gauge the interest at a preliminary level. Hence, if at any point of time, it is felt that there are less volunteers/pledges, then the project wont take off. Please feel free to comment and add your suggestions. If required, even the polls can be edited(with permission). The point is, you may feel free to give your honest feedback/suggestions.

The biggest problem is that there are no blogs/news agencies except the few making a least impact to counter the falsehood of biased media. To ensure the mandatory voice of the muslims around the world are clearly heard and the message of rightness travels among the internet users, I thought to start a news blog targeting the niche of Middle East particularly to start a media war against the Zionist and the great Satanic plots to dominate media. I have a plan and looking for a number of volunteers representing their countries. In His Name, the Most High Salam My blog has gone through a slight transformation and is now titled "The Spiritual Path of Ehsan" with the new "Journal" category as its main section of updates. As lovers of Ahl al-Bait(A) and seekers of the divine presence we come across many ideas, thoughts and inspiring literature in our journey. The idea with the journal is to collect all of these thought provoking gems in (mostly) short and simple to read posts as a point of reference for myself as well as others who might find it interesting. It could be a quote I stumble upon and wish to write down, or a thought which I'm reflecting upon, or something I've listened to etc etc. Basically a spiritual journal.
