Assalaam Malaikum brothers and sisters! It's been a little time since I last posted. I've had another dream that I'd like to share and wonder if anyone would like to offer insight into what it may mean, insha'Allah? I just had it this morning and I can only share with you what I vividly remember and it was towards the end of the dream. I am a man by the way, in case that matters. In the dream I found myself in a house not familiar to myself and it was very messy, not taken care of properly. I found myself standing before a sink (almost like a long kitchen sink that can be found in restaurants that hold a lot of dishware at once) and behind me standing was a woman I recognized as knowing (but in real life I know no one with her facial characteristics) and she was in pain, in pleading for me to help her, guide her. She indicated her eyes, and while I knew she could physically see, it seemed her eyesight was failing her. She was becoming blind and I worried for her mental health. I found compassion for her and told her "Please close your eyes." as I felt having them open (even though blind) was causing her pain (emotional/mental). I then saw her left hand - or rather her left palm which had a hole in it, but no blood. I took a piece of cloth and wrapped her left hand and then I had her embrace me from behind (her right arm over my right shoulder/neck and her left arm under my left arm and upper ribcage to clasp together in front of my chest) I then slowly guided her in her own home calling upon Allah(سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) to invoke the blessings of the Ahlulbait(عليه السلام). I never prayed in a dream before and mentioning the Family of the Prophet (عليه السلام) and their blessings upon this woman whom I was guiding is something new to me. I woke up soon after. Thank you for reading Alhamdulilah

Asslamu alaykum, How broad or specific is the sentence "When one loves a thing it blinds him and sickens his heart."? Does it mean the haram only? A person? Something material? Everything? Or only some things? "When one loves a thing it blinds him and sickens his heart. Then he sees but with a diseased eye, hears but with unhearing ears. Desires have cut asunder his wit, and the world has made his heart dead, while his mind is all longing for it. Consequently, he is a slave of it and of everyone who has any share in it. Wherever it turns, he turns towards it and wherever it proceeds, he proceeds towards it. He is not desisted by any desister from Allah, nor takes admonition from any preacher. He sees those who have been caught in neglect whence there is neither rescission nor reversion. " - Imam Ali(As) [Nahjul Balagha Sermon 108] Website: http://www.nahjulbalagha.org/Nahjul-Balagha-Sermons/nahjul-balagha-sermon-108.html JazakAllah.

[Quran 17:71] Just imagine the scene on the Day, when We will summon every community with its leader (Imam): then those, who will be given their records in their right hands, will read their records and will not be wronged in the least; [Quran 17:72] and whoever is Blind in this [life] will be Blind in the Hereafter and more astray in way. Who is referred by the Quran as Blind in this Verse? Does it mean who can not recognise the Imam is blind in this world and hereafter?

Salam Brothers and Sisters, To start off this is a serious topic and I don`t want this topic to become a burden upon me. Over time I started realizing that Muslims have a tendency to turn a blind eye to topics, such as being gay etc and how its not okay or natural and why. Instead of teaching kids how to deal with it we only tell them its wrong. We think that kids aren't involved in these problems so we have a tendency not to mention it. IN SHORT HELP KIDS WHO ARE FACING WITH PROBLEMS TELLING THEM THAT IT'S JUST BAD ISN'T GOING TO HELP THAT MUCH. Personally i think the theory that "we should turn a blind eye to problems" is wrong. We should give kids the skills to counteract the Western ideology. The Main point of starting this is that we can take action. That we can change even 1 person's life, that we can respectful bring this up with our mosques. So that our mosque is firm when Imam Mahdi (aj) comes out. However, we need to work on ourselves before we work on others. Please leave your opinions about this, and problems that your community is dealing with. Also leave ideas of how we can solve these problems and if your mosque already dealt with this problem tell us what the solution was so we can all benefit. If I have offended anyone please forgive me. Duas Salam
