  1. In the Bible, it states that Palestine was under the rule of King David [Nabi Dawud, peace be upon him] in the 11th century [before Isa, Jesus, peace be upon him] - yes, the same King David who is said to have committed adultery with a woman and executed her husband because of it. Although many historians of old, due to lack of any material, relied upon the Bible for most things surrounding this time period, the information is not historically accurate, because King David was dated to exist about 100 years later to his rule. He was first put into question as to his existence, but when no further evidence found, he was dubbed a myth. Although we Muslims believe he existed, the Bible does a job on distorting history and writing via oral tradition decades after something was said. This puts into question the authenticity of the Bible yet again, despite Dawud (peace be upon him) being one of the great Messengers of Allah that all Abrahamic faiths agree upon. The Philistines did not have a specific religion - if any at all - which is why the Jews tended to look down upon them. The Jews did not eat pig meat and leave their children uncircumcised whereas the Philistines did. However, the Jews did not inhabit their lands prior. The original inhabitants were the Canaanites - followed by the Phoenicians, Syrians, Egyptians, Caucasians, and the Mesopotamians, who later settled in the land of Canaan when majority of their civilization had fallen apart. Some Canaanites were Hebrew, not Jewish, as Judaism and the concept of Jewry began with Moses, according to Biblical chronology. There had been a very small portion of Israelites in this region, but they were not originally from this area. This is shown through demographics and sociological factors of them residing on the outskirts of the area. They were well-known for being destitute. This later changed in the future when an influx of Israelites came in. They, the Canaanites, had formed an alliance with the ancient Egyptians before they had finally taken it in as part of their kingdom (Levant, at the time). When the Israelites started to grow in the land of Palestine, they had split up into two kingdoms - one being Israel and the other being Judah, Israel being the most advanced and growing out of the two. It must be noted that the language of the Philistines had originally been Hebrew but later developed into Aramaic in the 4th century B.C. Moving forward past the Romans and Persians fighting over Palestine, Jesus was born in the land of Galilea, which was the northwest side of Roman Palestine. Jews like to claim that Israel was there prior to Jesus and how their history extends way before the late 1940s, but this is half of the truth. The land of Palestine belonged to the Philistines and destitute Israelites later moved in and had a kingdom within this land that grew years after. Jesus spoke Aramaic, although he understood and spoke some Hebrew. It is similar to how the Anglo-Saxon languages and it's sisters [French, German, Latin, English] can all be understood despite one not being fluent in them based on the similarities. Take for instance someone living in West Germany or Luxembourg - they are likely to understand and speak French, though they would speak German every day as opposed to the aforementioned. Nonetheless, Jesus was born in the land of the Philistines which had been conquered by the Romans at the time. It is argued that Jesus was a Jew - meaning from the tribe of Judah, and by extention, Israel - which is correct. The lineage of Jesus in the Bible stems from Israel [better known as Jacob/Ayyub] to one of his 12 sons, Judah. This, however, has nothing to do with the "nation" or "state" of Israel, as this was thousands of years later. While Jacob was born in Canaan, he never claimed any leadership nor authority there. This was all established by his son Joseph in Egypt, where the family of Joseph thrived and lived happily under him. I do apologize for not putting references, but I wanted to write this as quickly as I can before I forgot. I pray you learned something from this! May Allah increase you in sincerity, guidance, and knowledge - ameen. With that, I now say: Assalamu 'alaykum warahamatullahi wabarakatuhu.
  2. Salaam I have a query, I read the Lord's prayer recently. and I fail to see HOW this is haram?????? "Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." What is haram about this ??? Its asking Allah to give us rizq, forgive us and save us from evil? how is it haram?? @A
  3. Bill Gates Wants to 'Cover the Sun' to Help Counter Global Warming According to a Forbes post, the billionaire is funding a project that would help dim sunlight. "You can't cover the sun with a finger", but maybe with science and technology yes. According to Forbes , Bill Gates is funding a project that would dim sunlight in order to "cool" the Earth. The research called " Stratospheric Controlled Disturbance Experiment " (SCoPEx for its acronym in English) is carried out by scientists from Harvard University and has the purpose of achieving that the sunlight is reflected outside the atmosphere of our planet. You may be interested: Bill Gates predicts what 2021 will be like, alerts us to our immediate future This solution would be achieved by spraying tons of non-toxic calcium carbonate (CaCO3) into the atmosphere. "SCoPEx is a scientific experiment to advance the understanding of stratospheric aerosols that could be relevant for solar geoengineering," the project page reads. The project will begin to carry out tests that so far consist of releasing a balloon with scientific equipment, which will not spray CaCO3 but will function as a test of maneuver and to explore communications and operating systems. “We plan to use a high-altitude balloon to lift an instrument package approximately 20 km into the atmosphere. Once in place, a very small amount of material (100g 2 kg) will be released to create a disturbed air mass approximately one kilometer long and one hundred meters in diameter. Then we will use the same balloon to measure the resulting changes in the disturbed air mass, including changes in aerosol density, atmospheric chemistry and light scattering, ”they explain. What could go wrong? According to Forbes , scientific opponents of this project believe that solar geoengineering could bring unavoidable risks and extreme changes in weather patterns that would be no different than current warming trends. They also explain that environmentalists fear that a "dramatic" change in mitigation strategy will become a "green light" for greenhouse gases to continue being emitted without any variation in current consumption patterns. ------------------
  4. Its disguisting how the world started hating the muslim society (especially shia-islam) at once! for example: we all know in the western culture that someone can be rejected for work on application interview only because his foreign islamic name or even of their appereance like a hijab. Or if we take it more worse like being rejected for a study only with a hijab on!!! -> lately a lot of schools/universities are opening a new law for students to not wear a hijab and if you don't agree then you should get off the school! that means its getting more and more tight for the muslims these days especially women with a hijab on! I will put down below some of the hijab-bans from this year ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1,Macron's anti-Islam remarks trigger far-right policies in Franc French President Emmanuel Macron's recent remarks that target Islam triggered far-right groups in the country to implement anti-Muslim policies, especially against Muslim women who wear headscarves. Macron recently claimed that some Islamic religious practices are "separatist" because they carry the threat of seceding from French institutions and rules. scources:https://www.dailysabah.com/world/europe/macrons-anti-islam-remarks-trigger-far-right-policies-in-france France, Oct. 7, 2020. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.BRUSSELS Some 1,000 people took the streets in the Belgian capital on Sunday to advocate for the right to wear headscarves at universities. scources:https://www.aa.com.tr/en/europe/belgian-protest-for-headscarf-rights-at-university/1900618 Belgium 05.07.2020 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- countries with hijab ban 1.Kosovo (since 2009) 2.Turkey (gradually lifted) 3.Azerbaijan (since 2010) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- there are multiple hadith saying that the muslims in the end of time will experience a really hard time, since the begin of 2000 the world turned step by step more arrogant towards an inocent religion and is busy accusing the muslims of alots of attacks (9 11-building) which we haven't done.. if you look at the difference of life before 2000 then everyone will say it was unjust BUT never against islam as much as now.. what are youre toughts???
  5. Here are some "trading cards" (not really, but because of the size) inspired by the Old Testament passages as labeled that I made when I was trying to pass the time a few weeks ago. Media is ballpoint pen on brown paper bag. I am NOT an artist by any stretch of the imagination & these were the first drawings I've done in at least 4 years. I purposely chose to do these images because I cannot draw people or animals to save my life; unfortunately that really limits what art I can produce. Let me know if you like these, I'd love to do some of the Kaa'ba or the Dome of the Rock if it will not be seen as offensive (eventually I want to do one inspired by Hussain because I relate to his story so deeply)
  6. SalamAlaykum Brothers and Sister, I hope you are all well I was wondering if someone can tell me where in the Quran it says that the Old and New Testament is Corrupt. Because Muslims say that the Injeel and Torah was changed but where does it say that in the Quran. PLEASE DONT BRING VERSES WHICH TALK ABOUT THE WORDS BEING ALTERED ORALLY, But verses which mention that it was changed in writing. Jazakallah
  7. Wikipedia notes: as well as: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahweh So, is YHWH the same as Allah? As a Christian, I certainly consider him my God, the only true God of all things, and the only one deserving of worship. I would consider Allah the Islamic "spin off" (I don't mean that in a rude or offensive way) of YHWH. Thoughts or other opinions/viewpoints?
  8. Salaam Alaikum brothers and sisters! "But that day belongs to the Lord, the LORD Almighty-- a day of vengeance, for vengeance on his foes. The sword will devour till it is satisfied, till it has quenched its thirst with blood. For the Lord, the LORD Almighty, will offer sacrifice in the land of the north by the River Euphrates." Jeremiah 46:10 Thoughts on this verse? Do you guys think it is in reference to Imam Mahdi (as).
  9. Peace and greetings to my Christian brothers and sisters., During my college days, I was part of a lot of inter-faith dialogue with Christians. One topic we often discussed was the belief held by a lot of Christians that the Biblical Laws didnt apply to them any more because they were under the Grace of Christ and not under the Burden of the Law. What do you say?
  10. SalamAlaykum Brothers and sisters, I hope you are well. I had another question that came in my mind. We have ancient texts of the Jewish Bible (Tanakh/Old Testament) that the name of the LORD was YHWH. But what about according to Islam? Was wondering if one of the names of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى was YHWH or if it's a man made name. Would really appreciate if a knowledgeable brother or sister can reply Jazakallah khair
  11. Wa salam alaikum! (did I spell that right?) I have a question about which I would love to hear a Muslim perspective. It regards Jesus Christ, a favorite for all of us. In my conversations with Muslims, many say things like "Jesus never claimed to be God." So I would like to know what you (the Muslims on here) would say about this passage from John chapter 8: 54 Jesus answered, “If I want glory for myself, it doesn’t count. But it is my Father who will glorify me. You say, ‘He is our God,’ 55 but you don’t even know him. I know him. If I said otherwise, I would be as great a liar as you! But I do know him and obey him. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced as he looked forward to my coming. He saw it and was glad.” 57 The people said, “You aren’t even fifty years old. How can you say you have seen Abraham?[j]” 58 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I am![k]” 59 At that point they picked up stones to throw at him. But Jesus was hidden from them and left the Temple. [emphasis mine; for full context, check here] In this passage, we see Jesus expressing several important things. God is his father Jesus is older than Abraham Jesus uses the name of God {"I am"} as a description of himself. The Jewish authorities recognized this as a claim to divinity, as evidenced by their grabbing of stones to kill him. God vindicated this claim by hiding Jesus so he could leave the Temple safely. What are your thoughts about this passage?
  12. SalamAlaykum Brothers and sister I'm currently creating a simplified Tafsir which is very easy to read and the format is not boring, but coming across this ayat it has put it to a pause lol وَمَا جَعَلْنَا أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَائِكَةً ۙ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَيَزْدَادَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِيمَانًا ۙ وَلَا يَرْتَابَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۙ وَلِيَقُولَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ وَالْكَافِرُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِلْبَشَرِ {31} [Shakir 74:31] And We have not made the wardens of the fire others than angels, and We have not made their number but as a trial for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the book may be certain and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been given the book and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the unbelievers may say: What does Allah mean by this parable? Thus does Allah make err whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases, and none knows the hosts of your Lord but He Himself; and this is naught but a reminder to the mortals. Let me put those parts I'm interested the most in bullet points ...and We have not made their number but as a trial for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the book may be certain and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been given the book and the believers may not doubt... According to the Tafsir, the number 19 which in this Chapter is about the angels, is also mentioned in the TORAH Here is the Question Can a knowledgeable brother or sister please tell me where in the TORAH and the Gospels it mentions anything to do with 19 Angels that Guard the Hell. Jazakallah Khairyan
  13. As you probably know, Jesus (as) did not speak English ! The language he spoke was Aramaic. so the bible we see today is an English translation of the Greek translation of the Aramaic Bible. Here I will show to all Hussain-lovers and truth-seekers the actual name of imam Hussain (AS) in the new testament : *** Matthew 3:11 [ John the Baptists (prophet Yahya as):] ""I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire." In the Aramaic text of course, there is a slight defference !!! The word translated as "Mightier" was actually a name. And the name is none other than Hussain i will give you links to the Aramaic text and Aramaic alphabet. you can search it yourself to make sure http://biblehub.com/aramaic-english-gospels/matthew/3.htm https://www.omniglot.com/writing/westernneoaramaic.htm Assalamu Alaik ya Aba Abdillah !

  15. DNA Research Shows Canaanites Were Not Wiped Out By Israelites BY DANIELA COBOS ON 07/28/17 AT 4:51 PM A study published Thursday found that the ancient Canaanites were not destroyed by the Israelites as the Bible says, but rather that they went on to become modern-day Lebanese. In a study conducted by the American Journal of Human Genetics, UK’s Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute sent researchers to extract DNA from remains of five people found in the former Canaanite city state of Sidon, a coastal city in Lebanon. The remains were estimated to be 3,700 years old. The ancient Canaanites lived in the cities Sodom and Gomorrah, which were reportedly destroyed by God, according to the Book of Genesis. The Old Testament Book of Deuteronomy said God told the Israelites to wipe out the Canaanites. “Do not leave alive anything that breathes. Completely destroy them otherwise they will teach you to follow all the detestable things they do in worshipping their gods, and you will sin against the Lord your God,” he said to the Israelites. Despite this passage, other parts of the Bible contradicted the idea that the Israelites exterminated all of the Canaanites, suggesting there may have been survivors. Researchers examined the entire genome of the nearly 4,000-year-old remains and compared it to the DNA of 99 modern Lebanese people. They determined that more than 90 percent of modern-day Lebanese ancestry could be traced back to the Canaanites. “The Bible reports the destruction of the Canaanite cities and the annihilation of its people; if true, the Canaanites could not have directly contributed genetically to present-day populations,” the study read. “However, no archaeological evidence has so far been found to support widespread destruction of Canaanite cities between the Bronze and Iron Ages. We show that present-day Lebanese derive most of their ancestry from a Canaanite-related population, which therefore implies substantial genetic continuity in the Levant since at least the Bronze Age.” Dr. Marc Haber, one of the researchers from the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, said it was a “pleasant surprise” to analyze 3,700-year-old DNA found in a hot environment. “The present-day Lebanese are likely to be direct descendants of the Canaanites, but they have in addition a small proportion of Eurasian ancestry that may have arrived via conquests by distant populations such as the Assyrians, Persians, or Macedonians,” he said. The Canaanites are credited with introducing what is believed to be the first alphabet during the Bronze Age. http://www.ibtimes.com/dna-research-shows-canaanites-were-not-wiped-out-israelites-2571963
  16. NT Gospel Mark has a note in Chapter 16: [The earliest manuscripts and some other ancient witnesses do not have verses 9–20.] (NIV) Mark 16:9 The two oldest Greek manuscripts, and some other authorities, omit from verse 9 to the end. Some other authorities have a different ending to the Gospel.(ASV) Mark 16:9 Later mss add vv 9-20 (NASB) What is this all about?
  17. Quran says at many places that 'Azar' was the father of Abraham a.s and he was a 'mushrik'. Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: "Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error." Behold, he said to his father: "O my father! why worship that which heareth not and seeth not, and can profit thee nothing? View more يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدْ جَاءَنِي مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَاتَّبِعْنِي أَهْدِكَ صِرَاطًا سَوِيًّا "O my father! to me hath come knowledge which hath not reached thee: so follow me: I will guide thee to a way that is even and straight. يَا أَبَتِ لَا تَعْبُدِ الشَّيْطَانَ ۖ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَصِيًّا "O my father! serve not Satan: for Satan is a rebel against (Allah) Most Gracious. View more verses يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيًّا "O my father! I fear lest a Penalty afflict thee from (Allah) Most Gracious, so that thou become to Satan a friend." Bible says that 'Terah or Tarakh' was the father of Abraham a.s and he was a 'mushrik'. http://biblehub.com/joshua/24-1.htm Yusha gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God. Yusha said to all the people, Thus says Allah, the God of Israel, Your fathers lived of old time beyond the River, even Terah, the father of Ibrahim, and the father of Nahor: and they worshiped other gods. Then why al-islam.org is accepting the testimony of Bible instead of Quran and is saying this is the belief of shias that 'Azar' was not the father of Abraham a.s. While both books says father of Abraham a.s was a mushrik, name does not matter. https://www.al-islam.org/shiite-encyclopedia-ahlul-bayt-dilp-team/was-azar-father-prophet-abraham
  18. Asalamu aleykum wr wb my brothers and sisters I want to ask you if there are any Quranic and Hadith sources for those Bible verses. My mother is a Christian lady and she show me that verses. Another question is: How is it that the Bible calls Jesus son of God and Allah swt should be the father? I found even enough Bible verses who explain that God is one and almighty, however this son and father thing is confusing me a bit, but I can remember there was something about the difference of the translation of the Bible like differences in Latin, Hebrew, Aramean and Greek. I would be glad if someone can send me good sources. Wa salam
  19. Hi all, please, I have a doubt and I need your help in case you can and want to help. Does anyone know of a work or an 3alim who really took his time to relate each of the 12 Psalms of Asaph to each of the 12 Imams of the Ahlul Bayt? It is claimed that each Psalm would reflect the character of each of the twelve Imams. I have read about it here, and in al-islam.org, but, as always, it is mentioned but never developed and deepened for us to have an evidence, like: Psalm "x" relates to Imam "x", except for Psalm 74 and its reference to to Imam Husayn according to al-islam.org (sorry I edited it, because the reference to a sacrifice by the Eufrates would com from Jeremiah 46 and not the Psalms). Can anyone help or give any source which could help? Even if it is in Arabic, Farsi or Urdu, it doesn't matter, as long as I can google translate it. Thank you very very much!
  20. Straight forward question: What does one think of the possibility that the words and verses of the Bibles may not have actually been changed or corrupted-- but the way it was interpreted and broken down in explanation by forefathers during that time was corrupt? The majority Shia belief (including that of Allama Tabatabai) says that it was the apostle Paul who was the first to bring in the doctrine of the Trinity and the Atonement of Christ, ones that aren't quite explicitly mentioned in the NT bible ( ignoring the KJV version, that already has it's own controversial issues in the christian population in general) except for the possible verses that could have been interpreted to show this ideology. Are there references to prominent Shia scholars who definitely believe that the words of the Bible aren't the same as they are right now from before (meaning they were changed)? Salam
  21. In the Quran we have verses like Quran 5:46 SAHIH INTERNATIONAL And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous. and others like, which show us that Allah (swt) sent Jesus a scripture and holy book of God inspired by Him. Now we have the belief that a book truly inspired by God can never be altered or played with. This is the very reason we say that the Quran is a perfect and clean book because It is the revelation of Allah (swt), which came to the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) by Angel Gabriel. We know that the Prophet was given the knowledge of the Quran in it's entirety,(sub-question: was the Quran sent down physically as a copy?), and the Prophet slowly began to speak verse after verse to the people at specific times in specific amounts ( 1 or more verses ). At this point, we had many people taking the Quranic words, writing them down, and compiling it. This is where we get sunni narrations of Uthman having these Quran compilations and that whole situation, as well as other scribes who wrote the Quranic words and compiled them. ( non-muslims seem to use this as a tactic to say how the versions of the Quran from the beginning were always different) ---- this part needs correcting as I don`t fully know if this is how we think the compilation of the Quran is believed to be like. If I am correct, the Shia belief is that from apparent narrations, thirteen (or around that) days after the death of the Prophet, Imam Ali (as) stayed entirely indoors, and compiled the same exact Quran we have until this day from beginning to end. More clarification later... _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Now when it comes to Jesus Christ (as) and his Injeel (Gospel), Islam says that , just like the Prophet, the Gospel came from Allah towards Jesus Christ (as) through Angel Gabriel as well. Jesus also told the people of the revelation the same way and spoke of verses from the Gospel Allah (swt) sent down to him (right?). My main questions are: 1. What is the differences between the way Jesus (pbuh) obtained the revelation of God and the Holy Book, and the way Muhammed (pbuh) obtained revelation of God and the Holy Book? 2. What is the differences in the way they were preserved? Better yet, are the books in the NT Bible words that came from God or are they personal entries from the apostles who wrote them? 3. Did Jesus know they were going to create the NT Bible after him? not the most important question in here but curious if there was any mention of Jesus saying that he wanted this after him. 4. What happened with the Injeel of Jesus (pbuh)? Was it a physical copy like the Quran or was it a full revelation that was in the mind of Jesus (pbuh) which was not revealed as a book? NOTE: I know I have probably been terribly inaccurate with somethings I brought up so clarification and corrections are needed. EDIT: I ask because we know that a book truly inspired by Allah can never be altered and corrupted, so I am trying to learn how the Bible, or even the Torah were revealed and what happened to them. I heard narrations like the inspired books of God (Psalms of David, Torah, Bible) are all in possession of the awaited Imam (af), and will be revealed to us in the end.
  22. Ran across this bible verse, specifically 2 Kings 4:32-37 32 When Elisha came into the house, he saw the child lying dead on his bed. 33 So he went in and shut the door behind the two of them and prayed to the Lord. 34 Then he went up and lay on the child, putting his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands. And as he stretched himself upon him, the flesh of the child became warm. 35 Then he got up again and walked once back and forth in the house, and went up and stretched himself upon him. The child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes. 36 Then he summoned Gehazi and said, “Call this Shunammite.” So he called her. And when she came to him, he said, “Pick up your son.” 37 She came and fell at his feet, bowing to the ground. Then she picked up her son and went out. Does this tell me that Elisha was able to raise the dead? I feel like if this was the case then I am surprised I've never heard of this; it is a miracle that Jesus was able to do this as well? Also a similar thing happens in Ezekiel 37 -- verses 1 to 14 respectfully, although I need a little clarification on this because It's hard to decipher who is saying what in this context. -- but if I am reading it right, Ezekiel here was also able to raise the dead? More specifically raise many of the dead. Shouldn't Ezekiel and Elisha be people we should hold high as they were given the similar gift as Jesus Christ (as) ? I'm only saying this because I've never heard of these two and I wish I did, but more suprised that they aren't as 'popular' as I would've thought. Sorry, vague question on this post -- I just look for clarification really. thanks.
  23. hello. In the bible, in the ancient times the children that were born first had more priviledge, like more respect or inheritance, and God was thinking about make their priests to all people that had been born first in the families, but for other circunstances was the levi tribe the one who took the priesthood. I wonder if this exist in Islam or in the quran. Thank you
  24. Book of "The Bible, The Qur'an and Science" is written by Maurice Bucaille. he claims that the Qur'an contains scientific facts.Bucaille gives examples of astronomy, embryology, and multiple other subjects that had major advances in the 20th century. Bucaille told that the Quran is in agreement with scientific facts, while the Bible contains some verses which are opposite with self evident states in sciences . He says:" that in Islam, science and religion have always been "twin sisters" . According to Bucaille, there are big mistakes in the Bible and not a single error in the Quran. Bucaille believe that the Quran is compatible with modern science. Reader concludes that the Quran is the Word of God and how possible uneducated Arab man bring the Qur'an ? He asks if Qur'an is copy of new and old testament , how the mistakes have been mentioned in the bible has not been repeated in Qur'an.
