If autism is related, at least in part, to jinn, then is there any form of ruqyah that could cure autism (a manifestation of jinn-possession) in its entirety? I am wondering if anyone has heard of autism being cured among Muslims, especially among adults who are diagnosed with said condition.
Dealing with Autism I wanted to write something about the topic of Autism, because when I looked back I have never seen this topic addressed by anyone in our Muslim community. Autism is a growing issue in the world as one in 68 children are diagnosed with this condition. I wanted to address a few issues about dealing with Autism in hopes that it may help someone who is a parent, loved one or a friend of someone with a child who has Autism. I’m not going to go into what Autism is exactly, because that would be a lengthy discussion and there are plenty of websites and books dealing with this topic. I will just say briefly that it is a neurological disorder that affects ones social and communication skills. It is termed as being on the spectrum, because there are so many different variations of Autism that every child is different and they all have different needs according to how many of the indicators the child has.
I am 20 yrs old and I have got a late diagnosis as an adult of autism. I struggle with verbal and non-verbal communication, keeping conversations going (small talk) , making friends and I'm usually very silent and isolated. When meeting guests and people I usually just give greetings then go very silent or very occasionally say something. Especially since I have trouble keeping up with conversations, processing everything and even understanding the banter/humor. I can come off as aloof, odd or even rude. How much am I held accountable for my akhlaq, not having friendships, not giving the best social impression etc. I always read hadith like this.... "Unfortunate is he who cannot gain a few sincere friends during his life and more unfortunate is the one who has gained them and then lost them (through his deeds)." ALI IBN ABI TALIB ((عليه السلام)) Would it be wrong for me to not want to ever meet guests and stay in my room instead?
Why are children born with genetic disorders and what can we take from this if we are Muslims and our child is born with a genetic disorder, such as Downs Syndrome or any disorder that will cause a decrease in quality of life?
A young developer on the Autistic Spectrum has developed an app primarily for people on the spectrum called Aumi for the iPhone, it helps track energy levels, mood levels and helps people with autism communicate with a sensitivity selector during times where communication might be challenging for them. Basically it is made to help people plan their day better and avoid burnout. It is also helpful for people with anxiety apparently. The article about Aumi on Forbes is: https://www.forbes.com/sites/nicholasfearn/2019/08/17/autistic-teenager-creates-app-to-help-people-on-the-spectrum/?fbclid=IwAR13S0B9auKQJXHTAwKTMuXlvC3zwbm9dczjAQ3b3vie9mKJAvt4aq3X2ro#54dc21f3f9f7 If you think it might be of use, search 'aumi app autism' in your search engine. It is only for iPhones unfortunately, and a quick search for Aumi on Google Play brings up an unrelated and seemingly useless app (judging by reviews).
AS I have told you all before, I have panic disorder and autism....my psychologist suggested something called a paleo diet, where I stop eating grains, dairy, and vegetables that were not around at the time of cavemen or other early humans.........i have heard about grain free diets before, and my special ed teacher of the past and my psychologist have said that research shows that dairy causes autism....is there any proof to back this up? i need help right away, as i had a panic attack at school on wednesday, the last day of school for that week, (no school for thursday or friday) and i lost many points on my points sheet (i go to alternative school) because i tried listening to ruqyah for social anxiety, and when my parapro told me to turn it down, i got into an argument and when he said it was bothering others i told him they could go to hell.....also, i kept asking to leave class and call my mother, and lost more points......i have already dropped from level 4 to level 3, and i am borderline dropping from level 3 to level 2, as i can earn a possible 108 points in 3 days, and already lost 14, and need 85 percent to stay on level 3....i need to stay on level 4 and have 5 or less incidents in my target behaviors in the last 6 weeks to leave alternative school, and my dad says i can't go to turkey to visit relatives until i've been out of alternative school for a whole year......im in 11th grade now..but anyway, does this diet help, and how do i control my behaviors?
