Bismillah i Rahman i Raheem Salaam un Alaikum I was recently told that the proper time to perform the Asr prayer is 2 hours after the Zuhr, according to Ayatollah Sistani. However, many Shia apps often tell me the time for Asr, about 4 hours after the Zuhr. I would like to know for sure what Ayatollah Sistani says about the timing of the Asr prayer. JazakAllah Alaikum us Salam

Salam Within our school it is mustahab to join the two prayers at noon and afternoon (dhuhr and asr) and the two prayers at dust and night (magrib and isha). However, we also find traditions in our litterateur that the holy prophet (s) and the pure a'immah (a) from time to time would pray each of the five daily prayer at their specific time. Can anybody please elaborate on if both times are mustahab, and if so, which one is the 'most' mustahab or have the most fa'daila. With Salams

Salaam Aleikum, As far as I know, if one wishes to pray the nafilah prayers for Dhuhr and Asr, then he/she should begin with nawafil Dhuhr, Dhuhr, nawafil Asr, then Asr. However, I was wondering if it is possible to first pray Dhuhr and Asr, then Nafilah Dhuhr and Nafilah Asr. That is because I heard that we should pray the wajib prayers before the Nafilah. Thank you all, and may Allah bless you.

I know many of us (believers) have been through this, and I personally experienced my boat sinking and I know it is tough getting it back up. But if you won't understand why you have to get back up then you're definitely going to drown. My point of bringing this topic up is not to scare you away by telling you about the torment of hellfire or the agony in the grave, surely I'll do that by the end of our short exchange, but before everything else I want you to know what benefits and positive change prayers can bring to your life! BENEFITS OF PRAYING There are actually a lot; me a

As Salaam Alaykkum, I'm a revert and my parents aren't aware of my intention to be a Muslim. I can go to mosque to pray only for asr and dhuhr because a mosque is opposite to my school. I just join the Muslims making their way towards the mosque. But if I am sweating after playing, should I change cloths just before prayer? My Muslim friends bring cloths but, my mother asks y I need extra cloths? Just wudu would do to purify me? Or anything else I should do?? Regards, Saleem Khan.
