(bismillah) Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh I have not writen on this forum for a while . but i came across this dcree "Fatwa" by then the Sharif if Mecca his emmenance Al-Husayn Ibn 'Ali , which came about during the Armenian Genocide of 1915 by then the Ottoman Turks . This reafirms my love for the shia and true muslim belife of love for humanity and the protector of the oppressed just like our blessed Hussein (peace be upon him and his family ) the guradian of all who are opressed . can any religious leaders refrim this fatwa and if it still stands today , and what place Armenian Apostolic christians hold in the house of Mohammed (peace be upon him ). We pray God that He may grant us and you His abundant grace. What is requested of you is to protect and to take good care of everyone from the Jacobite Armenian community living in your territories and frontiers and among your tribes; to help them in all of their affairs and defend them as you would defend yourselves, your properties and children, and provide everything they might need whether they are settled or moving from place to place, because they are the Protected People of the Muslims (Ahl Dimmat al-Muslimin) — about whom the Prophet Muhammad (may God grant him His blessings and peace) said: "Whosoever takes from them even a rope, I will be his adversary on the day of Judgment." This is among the most important things we require of you to do and expect you to accomplish, in view of your noble character and determination. Armenian bishop urges world to take lesson from Iran for proper treatment of religious minorities Isfahan, Jan 31, IRNA – Head of the Armenian Diocese of Isfahan Archimandrite Babken Charian said the international community should look at Iran as a role model for proper treatment of religious minorities and respecting them. In a meeting with Governor General of the central province of Isfahan Alireza Zaker-Esfahani Wednesday evening, the bishop praised the Islamic Republic for having managed to establish a very good interaction with members of religious minorities. Turning to the current situation in Syria and massacre of defenseless people there, he said the calamity is resulted from ignoring teachings of divine religions. On the special ceremonies Armenians held in Isfahan on the occasion, the bishop said his congregation prayed for establishment of peace all over the world including Syria. Zaker-Esfahani, for his part, stressed the need for promoting interaction among divine religions as the major needs of the human community today. He said the evil plans of enemies will certainly fail if all divine religions adhere to foster unity.

(bismillah) Hello dear brothers and sisters , I would like to share this article with you . like myself who has a tremendous love and respect for IMAM HUSSEIN ( PBUH ) and the ALLUBAYAT , came accross this story from my fellow Armenian brothers and sisters who share the same love. Sham Times: Syrian rebels threaten to destroy Armenian districts August 24, 2012 - 17:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Supreme Council of the Syrian Revolution (SCSR) has threatened to destroy Syria’s Armenian districts, Sham Times reported. The source has pointed to Turkey behind the threats, as advocate of rebels’ plans to attack Syrian Armenians. In its statement SCSR accused Armenians of “cooperation with Bashar al-Assad forces and involvement in actions having caused deaths.”
