Salaam, Who taught or revealed the Gospel to Jesus? Since we believe Jibraeel revealed the Qur'an to our Nabi and Jibraeel is the Arcangel of Revelation, who revealed the Gospel to Jesus and is there any evidence? Same question for Ibrahim and Musa... Did Allah speak directly to Abraham and Moses? Did Allah also speak directly to Jesus and Muhammad and is there any evidence? By "evidence" I specifically mean Ayats in Qur'an, Hadith or anything from our Imams stating these things. Thank you!

SalamAlaykum Brothers and sisters. I hope you are all well in shaa Allah. Basically I had a question regarding this Ayat. It's 4:163 Surah An-Nisa, Verse 163: Surely We have revealed to you as We revealed to Nuh, and the prophets after him, and We revealed to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and Isa and Ayub and Yunus and Haroun and Sulaiman and We gave to Dawood Zabuur (English - Shakir) via iQuran --------____________======___________ Why are the Prophets in such a order in this Ayat. I mean Noah Abraham Isaac Ishmael and Jacob make sense because of the Genealogy but the rest of those Prophets in the Ayat I have no clue. Has any of you come across this Ayat and maybe asked the same Question. Why being in such a Order. And for those who will say that it isn't important etc. I will reply to say that there is always a reason why Allah reveales the Ayat in a specific way. I wanna know in shaa Allah. Cant wait for the replies!!!

I have heard that the Prophet Muhammad had a night journey to Jerusalem. Where he met Jesus, Abraham, Moses, and John the Baptist and led them in prayer. How did the prophet Muhammad know that he was in Jerusalem? And, also how did he know who these other prophets were? Did he ask them their names, or did they address themselves?

Jews and Christians are told that the prophet Abraham almost sacrificed his son Isaac. He almost did this because God told him to. Abraham is said to have proven his fear of God by almost killing Isaac. I have read that Muslims believe that it was the son Ishmael that was almost sacrificed. Jews and Christians strongly disagree with Islam. As a Catholic, I am taught to respect Muslims because they hold on to the faith of Abraham. I believe in the Quran, but I am Christian, I am not Muslim! But I believe that Abraham was told to sacrifice both Ishmael and Isaac. With Ishmael almost being sacrificed first, then some years later, Isaac almost being sacrificed. The cunundrum solved! Both Ishmael and Isaac were almost sacrificed by Abraham.
