(salam) i tried to translate a short video of Ayatullah Mesbah Yazdi on subject of propaganda. Realities who were bright as daylight were forgotten like they don’t exist. It was due to propaganda of enemy. When people of Shaam were told,Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) have been killed in masjid. They found it odd and asked what is Ali’s (AS) business in mosque. killer of Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) was introduced as a caliph of Prophet (PBUH). This caliph openly consumed Alcohol and played with dogs. Muslim of that era accepted him as legitimate caliph. This is power of propaganda. After few years,Bani Ummaya and Bani Abbas collectively ruled over 500 years on Islamic countries. They represent themselves as caliph of Prophet(PBUH). Years after years they send la’anah on Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) from mosque. It was essential part of Friday’s sermon. Same person who was on the shoulders of Prophet (PBUH) were ridiculed for over 500 years. History tells us that Propaganda is very powerfull. In those days there were no radio, TV, magazine, newspaper or internet. Only medium of propaganda was words that come out of mouth. We should understand Propaganda and its effects. We should understand what is Islamic Government. what is velayat e Faqih. We should not do anything which one day results in, God forbid, makes a government official think that he is the one and Faqih Is the one,they are equal and allowed to go against each other. We have to be careful. Those who act under propaganda are exactly like us. They have two eyes, two hands and two ears like us. on the day of Ashura, They offered their prayers in congregation and umar bin sa’ad called out to the its men “O horseriders of God, climb on to your horses. Kill Hussain (AS) and get the good news of paradise” How many years were gone since the demise of Prophet (AS). These muslims in army of Yazid had seen Imam Hussain (AS) on shoulders and chest of Prophet (PBUH) . What caused these muslims to act like that? It was effect of propaganda.
